  • Moderation in the vehicle maintenance sector

    I take up the request in this thread to express my displeasure about the moderation in the vehicle maintenance area. For my feeling, a moderation does not take place there de facto. Although occasional interventions are carried out, these are apparently carried out at random. I can’t determine a continuous line at any rate. An appropriate reaction would have turned out in my eyes to split the contributions that revolved around the topic of moderation into a separate thread and collect the discussion there. According to what basics is in MT general and in the vehicle care area in particular 3. With what frequency is the current vehicle maintenance moderator fordietunwas active in “his” area and what proportion of all threads does he pursue with what intensity? I ask these questions because this forum has grown to my heart. Especially the vehicle maintenance area is in my view a good point of contact for those who want to get into the car care more intensively, but who are the well-known specialist forums a number too big. However, it is – as in Forums are quite normal – sometimes a bit colorful too. And that’s exactly what I want a moderation that acts quickly, appropriately and comprehensiblely. Unfortunately, I miss this at the moment.

  • Dusky automatic linking of the search function

    Meal, it’s great that the search function is automatically linked, but then please look for it in the appropriate forum. That’s totally nonsense! This automatic linking only makes more work and fulfills as it is now no use. I’d like to take out the link. I know there have been topics in the past because of such links, but none with the search function yet, and I think that’s really more important than writing Bora Forum and becoming a link from it.

  • Holidays with the ë-C4

    Hello! Tomorrow we go spontaneously from Austria to Bavaria with wife and child. First to Munich, then further to Regensburg. So far I have not been on the road with the ëC4. Charge Now (for the time being only via app) and the EVN charging card are my companions. Now the car still hangs at home on the wallbox and is fully charged. The app from Charge Now says that the first way is 465km. My requirements are at least 20% battery before charging stop and at least 20% battery if you reach the destination a 3 times charge with a total of 1 hour duration will be charged. I don’t think it’s bad if you stop for 1 hour with a 6 year old child at 4 1/2 hours drive, so effective travel time 5 1/2 hours for 465km doesn’t scare me especially now. Relaxed arrival at the destination hopefully included. Speaking of, at the hotel there are two AC pillars with each 22kW. So load immediately like at home at the Wallbox, which longs.   • Various errors after new TÜV and alleged inspection

    I bought a used c4 picasso bj 2007 with 122000km running power. With one year warranty on engine and transmission. Before the sale was made new TÜV and allegedly according to purchase contract one around inspection. On the first day I drove 460km and had suddenly without warning in the middle of the highway several error messages. 1. Exhaust gas detox system defective 2. System ESP/ASR defective 3.Exhaust gas system defective 4. Engine control light yellow bright And the worst as I find e the engine doesn’t run round, but stops and sounds like it’s giving up the spirit itself. Would a video upload but don’t know how this works here. It would be nice if someone could give me a tip what it might be. I know I have a warranty on engine and gear, I’m surprised it can just kick something like that after just under 500 miles driven? Or was it botched at the tuv or the inspection?

    Moin, in just under two weeks I will have my polo clean (so the rear, doors and MH extension). Now I have a question excellent of the TÜV acceptance. I have heard the most surprising things, what you have to do to get doors without handles & locks over the TÜV.
