  • SLK 55 or SL 500 ??

    Good morning, I’m thinking about what I would buy for Sunday car….if we’re just a Sunday car, I’ll ride 3 to 5,000 km a year. I recently tested a SLK 55 AMG and already had fun. the concept is interesting (small car with big engine)…. Looking around I saw yesterday a beautiful SL 500 from 2005 with 45,000 kms for about 38.000 € (that costs then also a SLK from 2006 or 2007) … but unfortunately it stands about 1000 kmm away from me and near me there is also no one to test driving… therefore a few questions to you : – SL has more great…but is he still sporty enough ? ( for small mountain rides…) – Can I drive such a car with 36 or should I rather wait 20 years… – How reliable are all these electronic things like ABC, SBC, …usw ?? – Maintenance costs and consumption should not be higher than with the SLK55…..or ?? What would you advise me and why ? nke for the info !!

  • Motorcycle Greetings

    Hi people! I drive only ne Yamaha TDR 125 (still , soon throttled R6) , but when greetings I can also talk with you . I am greeted by about 85-90 % of the motorcyclists , because the TDR really looks like a big bike . But I find that the ” Greetings” overall has declined . The greetings make up a part of the motorcycle riding . Some do not understand that they are greeted and scare almost on , because there suddenly comes a greeting . Others do not greet at all , ha The “boys” are quite “hot” to say hello, whereas the “older” (will now not insult anyone or put in any drawer (there are also other, exceptions confirm the rule)) may not be so hot on the salute. My father e.g. earlier BMW, then short-term Fazer and soon again Fazer never greets, I also don’t know why. I greet in any case always, no matter who comes and never greets. d all (almost, my father) who I know greets also. Is it true that the different motorcycle types like Tourer, Athlete, Chopper, would greet each other, but zb never a R1 driver ne Chopper greet ?? Who and how do you, also 125er ???? Have you had it to do with “non-Greetings” ?? Or how do the “non-Greetings” ?? represent your opinion! Looking forward to your suggestions , experiences , questions. mfg your moto driver !

    Well, I’ve already read a few threads on the topic, which bike with 18. But I still have a few questions. 1. I would like to have one with full cover, but already an athlete, like the RGV 250, only e.g. 2. Many say, “yes that’s good”, but it would be nice if the one who writes this already already with the maschiene he has driven well, by that I mean longer than 1 day. 😛 3. She should not be too expensive, so I can’t get a new *ww asweisich*. -~- Another question by the way -~- You surely know these pocket bikes that you can find on e-bay, right? So, you can only ride on private or locked off (or so) terrain, right? Not on the road or on pavement <- I laugh about it myself, but you can ask... And... Who has one? I would like to know if you can do "stunts", i.e. wheelie, stoppie, burnout, etc. Basically it's like a bicycle with a motor, so k I know it's something else, but I didn't think of anything better ^^) So, that's it...   • R129 Checklist Quantity divider

    Hello and good day, wanted to ask if there is a checklist or checklist before you buy a quantity divider to really exclude all other mistakes. I would like to report the following, my 500 SL Bj.92 129,066 simply went out at a crossroad at Red and did not jump any more. Towing costs 150€ in a workshop I was told that it is 90% of the quantity divider, but only 90%!!!!! So. now to me, should I buy the part on suspicion??? According to the workshop was the petrol somehow manually injected and it immediately jumped on, petrol also comes up to the volume divider, but is not forwarded. Cold starter was tested and funnels perfectly, therefore you notice that he wants to start and does this once in a while, but goes out again. According to the Master, after I have read now already 7 days in the www., I have come to a small table which one should possibly work off. For corrections and extensions I would have very grateful!! -Camshaftsensor -Lamdasonden -Pump pressure -Fault codes -Zündsteuergerät -Unterdruck -Quantity divider measure, upper chamber, lower chamber, system pressure, holding pressure -EDW or immobiliser if installed I hope very much that someone can help me here and for that I would like to thank you in advance to have read this post by.     Hello dear forum members, I have been able to inform myself about the SL and the variety of models here in the last weeks. Especially the discussions pro/contra of individual models (e.g. SL55AMG vs. SL600) were super interesting! In the end I decided for an SL 600 which best suits my wishes (some understatement and much, lots of driving fun if you want). At this point I would like to thank ALL, who are here so constructive and the many readings. rn in the “background” give great information and valuable suggestions on the way! I will try to participate too – but will not be able to shine as a technical expert – let’s look. A lively exchange with other 600 drivers (R129 o. R230, no matter) would be great, even if there are certainly not so many here, right?? Again nice greeting to the round! SL600ler

  • Cylinder head gasket VW Golf GTD

    Have a problem with my Golf GTD 2.0 135 KW Bj. 2016 Auto has run 65,000 KM and plays with the cooling all at once crazy, water loss! Diagnosis with VW head seal defect, estimate including new additional coolant pump (water pump?) 4500 € !!!!!!!!!! I thought hit me Then it is not yet excluded that the head got what and needs to be revised which drives the price even higher !! Research on the Internet for repair, so in this case for the first time only the gasket change resulted in completely different prices! Another VW specialist company demands for the gasket change 2.200 € A free specialized company 1.200 € !! How can it come to such price differences I ask myself, rip off ? But now comes actually the most important question: Can a same engine 2.0 GTD 135 KW from an accident car Golf 7 GTD , only oil tank damaged , mileage 37,000 KM with warranty for 1800 € get only the engine is year of construction 2018, which is not close So is one of the last from the series of seven Then came the model 8 question to a connoisseur, is the engine of 2016 identical to that of 2018 as a compatible ?     Hello together, I heard during braking that my brake system starts to quichen… I assume it comes from behind was not at the workshop before I went there I wanted to ask you.     A possible new R8 member A nice hey to everyone in the forum here I just signed up here & wanted to introduce myself briefly My name is Joey and I am 30 years old for some time now I am thinking of buying an R8 and I’m now landing at your forum I hope so I’ll be well received Currently I drive a 5.0 Ford Mustang which just doesn’t make me any fun anymore (in the Mustang forum I’d definitely be stoned now HAHA) I’ve also e I’m looking for a little purchase advice from you & by the way I thought I’d introduce myself before Villeicht could you help me there And although I’m looking for the slightly older R8 2007 – 2012 .42 – before facelift I’ve found a couple between 80T-110T kilometers price-wise lying between 55-65 thousand but all the dealers I’ve found now sell the cars as a customer order now to ask me 1.From when did you have the first problems with your R8 2.Requires that at all an R8 with 100,000 km to buy without warranty or warranty (since most are sold in the customer order so that the drop off) 3.Bsp I buy that car driving from hof it turns out that it was a rental car & in the next 2 months I have once a motor damage without warranty & warranty 4.I have also read that at 170T km an M otorrepair would be necessary this is price-wise also not without 5. Should I completely ignore private sales 6.Is it possible to insure the engine & that gearboxes otherwise via external used cars guarantee (and has made someone already) I hope I could imagine well :=) and also hope that I can be with you soon also 100% then with the first pictures of the R8 Joey

  • V8 or V10?

    The Audi R8 came first with a V8, but in 2009 a V10 was also included in its selection. Which would you take if you had to decide? I would buy a 2008 V8 manual just because OG. BUT, a manual V10 from 2009 (love the early look) would be great too, because that’s a dream. I find it hard to choose. Let me know what you choose!
