Good morning together, yesterday my wife and I picked up our A2 in Ingolstadt. It was a great experience again. It started on Saturday, when I wanted to pick up the car hire from Europcar, Audi provided us with it. Of course, I answered the question of the employee whether I was going directly to Audi with ‘yes’. Then she said: ‘Then I’ll give you another car’. I probably looked something too questioning and she added: ‘Or do you want to drive Opel?’. I asked: “What is the alternative?”. She: “An A3”. Of course, it was not a question of which car I chose. The drive over the 90km motorway from Fürth to Ingolstadt was very tough, finally was holiday traffic and everyone wanted to go south. After the admittedly somewhat restless night in the hotel booked by Audi and the breakfast we arrived at 8:30 in the forum. Actually the vehicle transfer was planned between 11:00 and 12:00, but the nice lady at Empfan g said that we could also have the car at 8:45, at the moment there wouldn’t be much going on anyway and the first factory tour would only start at 10:00. Quickly still locked the bag in the locker and waited on the gallery for the moment until the little blue one is driven into the hall. And then he drove in and 5 minutes later we went down the stairs with a nice Audi employee, who according to his statement has the almost identical car, to the handover. The question “Habe If you’ve already seen your car?” he could have saved himself, after all, the A2 was the only one of its kind in the hall at this time of the year. A lot didn’t have to be explained, because my wife (still) has an A6, I drove an A4 for almost 2 years and an A3 has been moved several times. We took a little more time with the Navi, that’s what I have for the first time. I don’t know if I really need something like this, let’s see. After the first refreshment at the Mövenpick we took part in the factory management. At least we saw the production of the A3 and A3SB, the employees for the A4 make their well-deserved holiday for 3 weeks. Then lunch and at 12:30 we went back to Fürth. I had already read a lot about the S-Line chassis here, but I have to say that I am pleasantly pleased. The comfort is better than in the A4 (with S-Line+) and in the car rental (ambition equipment). The car swallows the bumps and “hopels” less than the other two types. In addition, the great sports seats, on which I have absolutely put value with my length of 1,97. The consumption of 6,1 l/100km over the distance of almost 100km surprised me positively, after all I drove also sometimes up to the 160km/h. I want to try, during the weeks Oh yes, for those interested here the equipment: A2 1.4 petrol 55kw EZ 08/2004 (No. 3301 from the model year 2005) Kilometer at handover: 8100 – S-Line Plus package – Advance package – Navigation Plus – CD changer – Winter package (washing nozzles and exterior mirrors heatable) – Seat heating front – Acustic Parking System – Headlight cleaning system – Fog lights – Speaker front and rear – Foot mats – Radio remote So, I think that’s it. Oh yes: my wife likes the little one so well that she now also looks for an A2. Let’s see, maybe we can find something for her. You have a nice day and greetings from Andree

Farewell to Volvo
Hello Zäme I would like to say goodbye to you because I no longer drive a Volvo and have sold my Volvo XC60 D5 AWD. The reasons for this are among other things the new model policy and engine policy of Volvo and the lack of possibility because of the age of our children (7, 4 and 1 month) to have 3 child seats in the Volvo XC60 (too cumbersome, too uncomfortable). The integrated child seats helped nothing. The new XC90 was simply too expensive and not available within a useful period of time, and even that does not even have 3 single seats(including ISO Fix in the middle) in the 2 series. So we have now bought a VW Sharan 2.0 TSI. I will not miss a minute (I never really warmed up with the combination D5 and the 6 gear transducer automatic MJ2010), moreover we just drive a lot of short distances, the AWD unfortunately already. Good time and accident-free journey Tom

Rust / rusting on roof edge V70 – individual fate or general problem?
A few months ago, I was disturbed by stubborn “Fliegendreck” at the roof edge above the windscreen of my V70 (III). But even after prolonged soaking and polishing, the spot did not go away. If you look at it more closely, it is probably a matter of rusting. Lackabplachers are not visible at the roof edge, when the area is enlarged strongly, the place shows rust bubbles bursting up. Meanwhile, the first spot has become significantly larger and five more have joined. From week to week, it seems to be more to feel better at first than to see. According to Volvo, these are impacts of foreign bodies, so that there is no reason for any remedy from there. Stone strokes, according to my experience, lead to paint chippings, which then rust from the blank sheet – unless you do anything. But that without visible impact, just blooms from below??? Does anyone know the problem (my V70 had first registration 03/2010 in Sweden; varnish is Caspian blue metallic) or does anyone have an explanation for this unpleasantly rust-like Volvo?

Leather of driver’s seat begins to tear
Hello, I drive one of the last V60 1 linje swart. The car is now almost three years old and has run 46,000 km. In the care of the leather seats I have noticed that the left seat of the driver seat has a approx. 15 cm long “riss” in the surface of the leather. Certainly the left seat is stressed by the entry and exiting, but can the leather here already be broken? What can I do to prevent the damage, and is this possibly something that Volvo shows itself to be kulant? Does anyone else have such problems? I have read nothing of it. The picture shows the seat of the seat surface. The leather is “broken” here on the surface, i.e. it is not a fold, but a damage of the surface. Many greetings! kulpin

Heating- how does it work? App etc!
Hello, I have the XC 60 D4 Summum, R-Design with preheater. EZ 12/2014. I use the Volvo app. See picture in the appendix! Question: If I start the preheater directly and without a timer in the app, it always went out again after 5 minutes…. The interior remained cold. Outside temperature around -2 to 0 degrees. Do I do something wrong? There is then in the app: preheater starts, start requested, preheater switched on. At the car also quietly something is buzzing…But just after 5 minutes the fun is over. Tank and battery are full. Question about the timer: There I set my departure time and not the time when the preheater should start, right? The interior should then be warm even after 20 minutes, or? Previously in the app stood about 25 minutes that the preheater would be switched on. I get out to the car. No noises, car cold. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to program something in the car? The runtime or the temperature?

Front spring voli broken: view of culantry?
What kind of greeting at lunchtime, two days ago, when turning right into a gyro, suddenly and unexpectedly with a loud bang on the front left, broke the front spring. Luckily above the tire, so that it was not damaged. The subsequent change of both front feathers made my wallet not insignificant. Unit price per feather: 110 EURO, the rest I give myself. The fracture picture shows brittle breaking behavior, ‘like a small zone of a notch or similar. My displeasure about the failure of such a part at an XC 70, MY04/04, km 143,000 had to be listened to by my KD consultant. Likewise, my urgent request to him to present the case at VCG as a Volvo car house, the feathers still lie with him, and from his side towards Kulanz / Gutschrift / whatever to argue. Zumal, such a damage to his statement following him until now would only have come under him and just at ‘n XC something like that should happen. The Forum should have been sent to me now, but also something to Gibcan.

Service at Volvo??????????
Hello Volvo driver, my V70 is now 6 years old and has 96000 km down. Stand at Volvo until now only for regular inspection in the workshop. When my elk got sick last week, very loud cracking when driving and on bad roads (which are too enough) I drove on the Voderaxe to the friendly!. To the service belongs that you listen to this cracking times and take the car up sometimes to look where it comes from, BUT NOTHING. Got an appointment 9 days later. Today I was in a free workshop where my wife always drives with her old Ford, the friendly man looked under it immediately and determined that the carrying joint on the right Voderrad was broken and whether the bike would have remained on it for the 5 days is questionable. Conclusion: car could be repaired immediately and picked it up an hour later. It is nice that a free workshop offers such good service and from work wage only costs a third person than the friendly one. My Elch will only see this workshop, even to the inspections. I have had the friendly experience of having had the bad one over me.

XC 90 2.5 T I have to decide and have questions
Hello Together on the search for an SUV I got to Mercedes ML and BMW X5 at the beginning of the week at a dealer around the corner on an XC90. Now I snuck around the car almost daily and had it shown to me today. It is an XC 90 2.5 T as 7 seater in very well maintained condition year 2004 with 175000km as automatic. The car up to an AHK everything and is priceless without negotiating just under 10,000 €. Inspection and timing belts were changed a year or before 20,000 km. Vehicle is checkbook maintained. I have now read the whole Internet to the car empty for days 🙂 On Monday I make a test drive and then we see on. On top of that, except for a butter-soft switching from the gearbox and no cracking of the steering I should pay special attention. To Zhema AHK, I need one and what I find on the internet will stop at 2250 kg of trailer load. If there is something else, the above mentioned colleagues pack up to 3.5 t. But I can not use that for a hang too much. I have a lot of information on the back.

Purchase advice XC90
Hello, I am currently considering purchasing a Volvo xc90 for my family. What should I pay special attention to in this context: BJ: no matter 120KW diesel manual gearbox 5 seat checkbook maintained Max: 170000KM mileage Price up to max: 14,000€ Are running speeds up to 170000Km of concern?? I have already informed myself about the running costs. It is all a little more expensive than e.g. with a V70, but you also have a very comfortable car. My wife is particularly important in this context the safety aspect of an SUV. (Otherwise she would never have agreed to a large/premature car). Does anyone have any information about actual consumption? On average, you should probably get along with 10,0L, or? In the past, I have never dealt with such “spice cars” and was always “reasonable” in my vehicle choice. Currently, I drive a Dacia Logan and have the need for a “right” car I am grateful for all tips and hints!

No oil pressure! ?? Is this the end? V50 2.0d 2008 130000km
Hey, a week ago, after a highway ride at the traffic lights for a second, the red warning light went on. Immediately again. Engine oil changed and hoped that the spook had an end. On Monday at home In the city, unfortunately, she went again longer. In the driveway I heard a slight knocking engine from and to the mech., which measured the oil pressure, so too little, at temperature pressure oscillates out. Then what is confusing he thought that the two-mass swing wheel would definitely come over the noises from there. Which would I rather have tapped on connecting bearings because of the money-consuming oil pressure. What now? The opinions in the brand-independent forums, because it seems rather not to be a Volvo specific prob, oil pump change connecting bearings over what else is coming to you? Turbo? I’m curious about your opinions. Oil a5/b5 Greeting
