  • Conti or Dunlop Pneus?

    Hello guys, I once rolled through the search function, but found nothing useful. I have to buy new summer tires now, because the old ones have DOT 1400. Nu would like to buy aluminiums and screw on size 195/45R15 wheels. I clicked through the manufacturers and in the end came across the three friends: – Conti SportContact2 – Dunlop SP Sport 2040E – Dunlop SP Sport 9000 Can you possibly tell me pls, which I should take like this? is not sooo the world around… I do polo with 75 hp. Like to ride around the curves faster and so on. But is not a heater car. That’s why I also want to have tires from brand manufacturers and there relatively good at a suitable price.   • Wide rims, narrow tires, gauges

    Hello, I ride 8.5 & 9.5 x 18 wheels on 225/40 & 245/35, so my car logically pulls after every lane channel. Drive Bridgestone Potenza RE050 at the moment, and have thought about switching to 235/40 & 255/35 to relieve the tyre flanks, and when I’m already changing to tyres with soft flanks. Does that make sense at all, or will I have even more problems afterwards with sparrows, because my tires are 1cm wider?   • Conti PremiumContact 2 or SportContact2?

    Good evening in the round, as the Ford needs a set of new summer tires I came across a good offer for Conti tires looking for new tires. And that’s what the local globe market dle Prem.-Contact 2 and Sport-Contact 2 have on offer for almost 70,- € each. Since I find the offer quite cheap (only Dunlop is cheaper with the top tires), I wanted to know now which tire is the better one regarding rolling noise, dry and wet handling? en with one of these tires in 205/55 R16? Already in advance thank you for your help!

  • Tyre mix or rather uniform???

    I want to change these days to my summer tyres. At the moment I have the Fulda Carat Progresso 195/65 R15 91V on my 4 gulf. However, 2 pieces of it are broken (1.5mm profile) and the other two are still new from August 2008 (6.5mm profile) Since the Fulda Carat Progresso does not have the best test results, I consider whether I can get 2 other tires… Or would you rather take the Fulda again, so that all 4 tires are identical???

  • Chassis number

    Hello guys! Have a question for you. I got a calli to build up and I’m about to disassemble it…. If I’m already lying wrong it tells me but in the heating panel still sits the switch for heating disc heating, air conditioning and recirculation!? When I or my wife removed the dashboard yesterday we found out that behind the covered cables were emptied and that is where the air conditioning switch normally sits…? Can I now use the e Chassis number determine if this is the original engine in the car?? Because from Klima I didn’t see anything under the no longer existing hood! Next question would be of me what is usually sitting under or behind the glove compartment for a control unit?!? There is only one loose plug! Thanks already for info… Greet Alex

    Hello I just decided to get new tires and rims! my question: I just got 14 inches in it with 195/60 tires when I get bigger than it doesn’t fit in with my car? that’s no more space in it then grinds it at the carisory or isn’t that so? Automatically the car is set up or? because that would be better for me yesterday I couldn’t drive over this hubel and my stick has started the one on the right side fixing points don’t keep what can I still make friends,I buy me a new stick she doesn’t keep the dan either?

    Hello the following. Air conditioning didn’t work, at the pressure on the asterisk it lit and immediately extinguished again, climate filled. —> No improvement.   • Wheel bearing defective? No sound until from 80kmh there.

    Hello, I have a question, and I have a surrising sound with my Mazda 323 FBJ which only occurs at 80kmh. I had read once, that you can determine at low speeds whether a wheel bearing is defective. How do I determine exactly if it is really the wheel bearing and if so which side. Because it is not cheap. A bearing for the rear costs with hub almost 50€ at Ebay and approx. 80-100€ at the friendly Mazda dealer. If then I do the ga nze pairwise, but I would be even more interested if it really are wheel bearings. It is only to be heard at higher speeds and only then. Has nothing to do with motor or something. So idle at 100kmh the noise is still there. But maybe it is also due to a clattering or loose cunt part where the wind goes through and causes a surrative noise. With a 12 year old car a lot can happen.
