  • Thule roof beams – third traverse?

    Hi, I drive a space tourer bus and would like to put 2 roof boxes (together own weight 39KG) next to each other for the holiday 2025 so that the 600 liters of the large roof box is not enough. My THULE 7107 Evo Fixpoint footsets (4 pieces) and the two SquareBar 150 can only carry 100KG in the pair (my roof may 150kg, so I think with the THULE 710704 Evo Fixpoint footset for roof beams fixed points 2 pieces a third traverse to increase the payload of the carriers so In addition, I only have to buy the mounting kit again in the 4-pack (or does someone have a different idea?) and get a third square bar. 1. does this mean that the third traverse increases the payload of the carrier to over 100KG, so that I can also take advantage of the payload of the roof? 2. does someone know if the THULE 710700 Fixpoint (4 pack) is identical to the 2-pack 710704? With our Renault Espace 2l 16v with F4R engine I have changed the timing belt including phase slider several times already. I made the special tool for it myself. The question is: Do I need another special tool for the Scenic again and does someone want to change it?

    Moin! I bought a Megane 3 1,5dci Bj 2015 quite exactly one year ago with just under 53tkm. Since January the following had to be renewed: -Battery(according to the friendly one this is now the one that lasts only 4 years) -Gas valve -Brakes -Air conditioning had to be filled up because empty Now was opened to me that the shock absorbers are already through! In addition, the radio spins constantly and the rear passenger disc clatters(some times were friendly but to heu no improvement despite updates) Current driving performance 82tkm. Vehicle was driven 3 years by a retired woman and for a year by me.I only drive the federal road therefore I wonder about the shock absorbers.Do you find the mass of defects normal for the age??

  • electr. window driver side does not work

    Hello together. I have been the owner of a used Renault Megane I built in 1999. I am very satisfied with the car and now I want to dedicate myself to the defects that I have taken over in the sense. And indeed the electric window does not work on the driver’s side. I have read that in harmless cases it might only be the switch or that the contacts could be messed up, in the worst case the complete unit?!?! I have on the Internet now search for appropriate instructions, because I wanted to check first if the contacts on the switch/cable could be fault. Unfortunately I can not get very far. I can only check out the storage as in picture 1 and then pull off the corresponding cables (picture 2/3). After that you should actually be able to push out the two switches?!?! But with me the switches unfortunately are bomb-proof. The red switch (picture 2) is for the switch of the driver side and the brown plug it for the switch for the passenger side (this switch works by the way). Did I do anything wrong with the dismantling??? Does it matter that the red plug is only 4-pin and the brown 6-pin? Unfortunately, I have no schematics or any manual. I also lack suitable tools to measure currents or similar. However, I have already provided myself with a can of WD-40, in the hope that it will help me with the problem. I hope her k Can help me.     Servus, I am in possession of a Mégane Coach Coupé from the year 98 and in September or with tolerance December I no longer get a pickerl. Since I actually want a small car, I really wanted to wait for the Clio V; I would like to have its safety systems like the automatic brake assistant. The Clio IV does not really agree with me qualitatively either and seems rather outdated to me, which is why it would have to be the case, since the comfort is closer to the Mégane, which is very close to me. now I have – in my opinion – a great offer for a used Mégane Intens 07/2016 TCE 100, with – 30,000 km – Park-Premium package – just made service – 7 years used car guarantee at a dealer around 13,90€. As far as I know, this version has no emergency brake assistant and you can not retrofit it either. (?) What would you do in my place – wait for or hit the probably much more expensive Clio? I actually only need one Small cars, but cost-wise this shouldn’t be so intelligent in this case, I would say (?). At the Clio I would also take 100 hp, which is why the fixed costs should be about the same, right? Thanks already!

  • 2 clocks does not sound — ignition ?!

    Moin together, I received an Italjet Verlocifero 50. The scooter stood for many years in the garage and the previous owner had turned it off because he had pulled out secondary air. I have now completely overhauled the engine, so all seals changed, new pistons and cylinders, bearings, hoses, membrane. I cleaned the carburettor in the ultrasonic bath and renewed the seals. Unfortunately, it does not give a tone of itself. Briefly my previous diagnosis enumerated: – Gasoline tap runs – Spr It is in the carburetor. – If I hold the candle to the engine block, I have a very small spark. – Built-in the candle has in any case mass contact. – Polrad and stator package are properly mounted. – Compression are 9 bar (with e starter slightly less) – Oil pump runs. – If I give gasoline or brake cleaner directly into the cylinder, still nothing does. My guess is therefore now the ignition system. Maybe I have no ignition spark in the built-in condition. n more or it’s not enough?! I measured the ignition coil once after a Youtube video. In a spare part box was another ignition coil (no-name). Here are the results: – Between mass and spark plug cable 5.33 kOhm (with the no-name 3,31kOhm) – between mass and plus 4.9M Ohm (with the no-name 60M Ohm rising) – spark plug plug 24,31kOhm The values are now significantly higher than those measured in the video. Are the ignition coils defective? I get an ignition spark, but is maybe too weak? Or is my problem completely different? I am grateful about every idea and can also gladly provide further diagnosis.
