Here the connoisseurs are in demand!
Hello, unfortunately, unfortunately, unfortunately my beloved Toyota Avensis ́99 2.0 Beziner 240tkm now gives the trip to Africa. Too bad, but it’s not worth it anymore. We never had repairs and now everything seems to be broken. Now a new car of this size has to come, only which one? And now the connoisseurs are in demand!! My demands are longevity, reliability, reasonable viewing price, no susceptibility for annoying and expensive repairs, rust-free ( No garage) It must be a diesel and should have about 100kw. It is still important to know that I have an annual driving performance of 50,000km and own a caravan. To the previous selection are the 1-3 year old: Avensis Mazda6 Skoda Oktavia VW Passat and I am completely overwhelmed, because every hander says yes that his car is the best. what do you think, with which model do I have the best chances to drive for a long time without having trouble? Or do you have another good tip? Taus end Thanks to the helping connoisseurs hida

Buy Mazda 626 BJ99?
Hello, I’m new here and I have a question right away…. after my old Mazda 323 has blessed the time, I’m looking for a new used station wagon… now I’ve been looking for a longer Mazda 626 BJ99 110PS diesel at a well-known trusted Mazda dealer. The car is optical as well as technically well in order, except 2 rust spots on the windscreen (which according to the dealer were created by sloppy work during a disc exchange) and at the rear wheel. The car has about 200 000km at the counter, service is still made fresh by the dealer and I still get 1 year used car warranty. Cost should the car 4,500€ So…and now the real question 🙂 : How does it look with rust in the car in general? Because I haven’t seen a Mazda 626 yet who had no rust on the rear wheels…. must ic h expect the car to start rusting under my butt after a year like the other 626 or my old 323? Or can I expect that if the rust doesn’t get out until now it’s even longer quiet? PS: I don’t have any pictures. LG Martin

Search for Mitsubishi V80 – 70/30 A/T tyres
Moinsens, looking for Mitsubishi Pajero V80 3.2 DI-D 200 HP automatic and trailer coupling special A/T tyres for spring to autumn – winter tyres are a MUST for me, so I want separate rims. Condition is, it should be a 70/30 variant with at least one “C” in wet braking behaviour, but nevertheless good traction in medium terrain – and also not too loud. I have already tortured many pages and thus read many contradictory statements. either the Conti Cross Contact ATR FR – or the Yokohama Geolandar A/T G015, after I had selected the many statements about this. Who has long-term experience or meaningful alternatives? As winter tires, Goodyear Ultra Grip Performance+ or the Bridgestone Blizzak LM005 are possible with us, of course with snow chains if necessary. Does anyone have long-term experience or alternatives? Driving profile is rather quiet – but bad roads, terrain and roads are not always easy. River crossings everyday life – next to some tours to the city for shopping.

SLK R 172 Air conditioning
Hello, I’m just looking for a chic 350er and notice with horror that almost all used ones “only” have the series climate. Despite former new prices of approx. 75k €, the Thermotronic was surprisingly dispensed with. Since I don’t really get smart from brochures and online operating instructions here my question to the happy R172 owners: The series climate is completely manual, right? Temperature and blower level have to be set manually are and are not automatically throttled or re-regulated after reaching the target temperature!? Thank you in advance and greeting, Marcus.

Oil measuring rod to milk mice and tar on matt lacquer
Hi and nice 2nd Christmas Day still, I just checked the oil from my SLK 3.5 (current and last SLK model) (drive 400 km tomorrow) and once again found that the measuring rod is not good. According to Audi, BMW and now the 2nd Mercedes, this is the worst measuring rod I have had so far (see also picture1). Without cleaning the rod with a cloth before, it looks as if no oil was available (oil rod as dry). After a 1/2 hour stand on a straight surface, my current oil level looks like on the picture (with rags wiped off). 3 times I repeated the measurement, I hope the oil level is right (yellow wedge). Why on the plastic side of “too much oil”, also oil stains (red file) are puzzling to me. Better too little, than with this measuring system try the highest level. 2. Problem: Small tar spotting of freshly tarred roads on grey matt lacquer. Constantly there are small tar stains on the paint surface, which you then have to remove with the fingernail laboriously. But now there are tons of them! How can I remove the tar without getting shiny varnish? With tearent remover? With matt lacquer shampoo it is not possible. Does anyone have an idea or already good experience with it? Nice time still Tom

Purchase advice SLK 200 R170
Hey is currently looking for something small compact and above all cheap for me. I don’t drive regularly, so no long distances to work and when I drive mostly short distances in the city and surroundings of Hamburg. Wants a car that drives reliably for the next 2-3 years. I found this SLK at mobile.de: http://suchen.mobile.de/…/details.html?… Mercedes-Benz SLK 200*Automatics*WEIHNACHTSANGEBOT*TÜV 03/2018* First registration: 01/1998 Kilometer level: 142. 000 km Fuel type: Petrol Power: 100 kW (136 hp) Price: 2.400 € in sight and will look at it tomorrow. Do you see more than I in the display or can you give me tips regarding the weak points of the car ? And what else I would have to pay attention to ? rust should not have it externally. And is in the 3 hand. Unfortunately has no climate … but otherwise the equipment is enough for me. What do you think of the offer.
