  • Lighter incandescent lamps are constantly breaking

    Hello to the municipality, I am driving a Renault Trafic Bj. 2004 with the dci-140 machine. In order to elicit even more light from the already good original main lights, I used “extra-bright” lamp inserts for a while. Result: Sensational light yield…! But the special inserts broke over a period of about 10 months 4x. Expensive fun, a set cost € 35,- Phi… X-treme gas power or something! What could it be? It even became a voltage to me. Stabilizer used on the battery, which has changed nothing. Now I have the original inserts inside for about 12 months again, settle with the brightness and notice no more failures, which I don’t understand either! Who has had similar experiences, or can give me a plausible explanation? I am still interested in the brighter light. Thank you.

    Good evening dear community, I am currently in possession of the driving licence class A1, the increase A2 should follow soon. At the moment I drive a Yamaha Wr 125 (Supermoto). Actually the A1 driver license was only intended for the transition to come from A to B, until the age of 18. In the 1 1/2 years of motorcycling I found more and more fun and am now already at the increase A2. The question is now only which motorcycle, what fits to me? Since I ask you now I am 182cm tall my body is “normal”, not too thin but also not thick (72-75kg). I love to drive on the country roads with many curves, but also routes where it is sometimes just going to be fun just not with 15 HP. When I sit on my machine I only get off after 200-300 kilometers (on tours). Running power of the machine in 1 1/2 years approx. 15,000 kilometers. Actually I am interested in switching from Supermoto to S but I’m not 100% sure yet. Since I’m employed at VW (still in training) and the subsidiary is indeed Ducati, I’m trying to switch from Yamaha to Ducati, because it’s also very expensive for me. With the Ducati models, I’m clearly inclined to the 899 Panigale or the Hypermotard SP (new vehicle). Now comes the next problem. I have to have 48 HP until my 20th year of life. Unfortunately, she is not yet ready to drive, as I could not have afforded a Duc. :-/ I only screwed to Kawas so far and had to find out that both brands are completely different. Hope someone can help me. 1. Coupling: At the moment no resistance to feel: Up to now only had couplings with metal pulleys – without liquid. How do I get the necessary pressure or liquid into the line. 2. Gasoline lines: Where are the petrol lines with you? One left and one right of the engine or both left? 3. Mirror: I have received new mirrors. Now I lack the connection between the two threads, which also have different sizes. Are there connecting screws with different thread sizes, or do I need an adapter oä? 4. Seat mounting: Unfortunately, the predecessor has abgabaut the complete mounting system and mome ntan is not recognizable how this should be attached. Could someone take a picture of his? 5. Ignition coil: Where is this attached? Would I be happy about your help, as otherwise the project will probably fail. Photos would probably be easiest. Telephone might be best.   • Heck “breaks away”…

    Dear community Although it’s been a while since last season, an experience/phenomenon doesn’t get out of my mind anymore, and I’m very excited about what you’re saying about it. It’s about a relatively old (i.e. 10 years old) and throttled monster 600. When I’m driving on normal, dry asphalt (no oil or something on the track) when I turn down the rear to the left “broken off” such a kind of “slide away” and I had no idea why, let alone what went off. I still liked it, but it happened repeatedly, but irregularly and by far not every time when I switched down. I then “wanted”, but could never control it (or rather consciously) bring it about… Well, my question to you; would you have any idea what that might be? Tires etc are usually, therefore also my guessiness. Has anyone had similar experiences or even experienced this before? I am grateful for every feedback.   • Monster S4 Start problems again

    Hi guys, and let’s go! I’m in despair… Last week I installed my charged battery Yuasa 10V 10 A and wanted to start the S4. Result battery defective/ dead/ or too weak. It doesn’t quite make the jock to run. It spins one, two times and that’s it. Over car bridged and without any problems it was immediately on. I bought a Varta 10V 12 A. Acid pure, all steps noticed, charged and installed. Result the day before you jumps s ofort and ran the whole Saturday super. Like new born. Now the fun starts. Yesterday in the great weather combo put on it. I turn the key and it just happens nothing. No light no gasoline pump. Simply nothing. Battery removed and connected to the charger. Not even the charger charges the battery. Thus is firmly deep discharge. So old gel battery from basement fetched, bridged and charger on it. Charger jumped on. I got the tip from a friend. G El battery also charged, installed yesterday to see if I have a power eater somewhere and leave it standing overnight. This morning key turned. Result light goes and everything else too. But I press on the start button just nothing happens. It can now be that the gel battery that stands for 3 years in the basement is just way too weak. I just don’t know any more. Will the recharged new battery sometimes build up tonight and see if the start button again At the moment I hope that the new Varta battery is simply defective. Someone a tip? What can it be if the starter doesn’t react at all. Did I break something through the stronger battery? So from 10 A to 12 A. My screwdriver said that it can’t actually be and the battery just gets charged slower. Please for help. Thank you!

    Hello, now after some BMW’s and Mercedes I want to get an Audi V8 this winter as a winter vehicle. I have no clue about this model. Which engine? 3.6 liters or yet the 4.2 liters? What about the funny brakes? What is to be paid attention to when buying? What problems or what are the typical weaknesses of this vehicle? Automatic or manual transmission?   • Test drive XC60-D5-GT R-Design

    Hello Volvo community, this week there are test drives with XC60, RRE, GLK and X3, decision then in early 2013. Here are my impressions of the XC60 after 120km: pro: – design I like (still) very well, especially the hip swing with the rear lights – the GT now does a good job, only from time to time switches it back unnecessarily for my taste (possibly GT instead of switch??) – material appearance interior – well made (distance)Tempomat (+/- in 5 steps) – folding – in Navi full-screen mode no display seat heating. – outdated display in monochrome – temperature display? – either I see the sign recognition or BC-Info – voice control has rather annoyed than helped (do I really talk so vaguely???) – motor under load already quite present (comes from the PSA-V6) – the R- suspension is an impact even with 17″ winter tyres (Attention: my personal statement, please no answer). “Hey, bin sich mit den 20″ vollfrieden” To prejudge the question: the XC70 is significantly worse in the leasing conditions.
