Hello dear experts, what has happened so far: A bus roamed my parked youngtimer 6 weeks ago. Side part in the back large area pressed and painting massively damaged. The accident was taken up policely, guilt question clearly, opposing liability will pay. The expert of my trust estimates the damage in his report to net 3,400 euros, replacement value 6,500 euros tax neutral. The rear side part would have to be for a professional and appropriate repair On my part, accounting is planned on the basis of an expert report, as well as timely repair by the paintr of my trust. The opposing insurance does not accept the repair route mentioned in the expert report and sends its own “expert” via carexpert. The Hansel was there today and saw the damage. I assume that he will degrade a 27-year-old youngtimer in real condition 2 to total damage. very likely to give to the lawyer: Do I claim to have insight into the opposing opinion? Or can my lawyer ask for insight? Thanks for reading and thinking.

Change of insurance for new entrants
Evening, I don’t really see how it works with an insurance change for beginners, mainly because of the SF class. Just a few data about me: – Geb. 07.07.2000 – Driver’s license: 19.04.2018 – First car insured on me: 26.03.2019. Since I have my first car, I am insured with the LVM with SF3, because my mom is already longer there. However, the LVM is relatively expensive, so I would like to change (89€/year at 9000km). i of course a special discount, which can not be taken to another insurance, is also in the contract. Last week I talked to someone about my insurance, who said that if the insurance change is attempted to pass as much as possible SF class to the next insurer. Then he said that I would have SF1 if I changed to 01.01.2020. Now I have written with someone from Verivox customer service, which he after I wrote again that I am a novice driver, he said that I had SF0 with a change. In the Verivox comparison the CosmosDirekt with base protection SF1 was about 157€ cheaper. In addition, there would be 60€ cashback. I would of course rather believe my insurance, and ironically change directly, but by now I really have no idea who to believe and what to do. I hope someone here can give me help, thank you in advance But please don’t come here with SF2 when changing to LG Niklas

I was taken the way, accident without visible scahden, procedure?
Hello, I was taken the way yesterday and it came to a slight collision. My car (10J old Fiesta has no visible damage. I also meant it has not come to any damage and he still wanted to report it to his insurance because it has comprehensive and carried lighter scratches on the car from it. Well today I received a call from his insurance company and I thought I should give it to a workshop and me an estimate for the damage read She also wanted to recommend me a workshop or evaluator? but refused. On the one hand, I don’t want to worry about it, because I have a lot to do right now, but I don’t know what it looks like under the bodywork. What do you say? Can I just have a look at the workshop and me? Thank you

Vehicle insured for me for 16 months, nevertheless classification SF class 0 at HUK24
Hello dear Motortalker, I have often found help on the websites here, but I can’t find any solutions or explanations about my current problem at all. That’s why I just signed up and hope that you will also try to explain something to a newcomer I bought a SEAT Leon as a day registration with my girlfriend at a vehicle dealer on 04.10.2017. I had not insured any vehicles on me until then and could not have been SF years from third parties either. The vehicle was now insured with the SEAT insurance service from 04.10.2017 until 03.10.2018. Afterwards I made an insurance change to the VHV and stayed there until 31.12.2018. In the VHV insurance I then had to know that I was classified again in the SF class 0 in spite of 1 year of insurance contract (at SEAT SF class 0) until 31.12.2018. At that time the lady of VHV explains that the deadline for you is 01.01 and I was of course led under SF Class 0 during pre-insurance. Therefore, they could only put me in the SF 1 on 01.01.2019, which sounds absolutely logical to me. However, I then switched to the HUK24 on 01.01.2019 and was of the opinion that I would be graded into SF Class 1, so I also specified that. Yesterday I got the notification that I would be graded later into SF Class 0 and can now be classified as SF Class 0. Of course, since the purchase, the vehicle has been permanently insured against me personally and of course I had no damage events during this period! So the bottom line is that I have insured the vehicle for 16 months and am currently put in the SF class 0 for another year. Is that right? Did I shoot my own leg through my change of job or is there a mistake on the part of the insurers? Would HUK24 have a hotline of course, I would have called there quickly, but that is of course not the case. Thank you very much for reading and for the answers LG Rajester

May the driver of the other vehicle report me?
Hello MT-Community! I have a little problem and a question about it. I was in Kitzbühel today to get the last Christmas gifts for my parents and friends there. After I did this, I wanted to buy another milk at the supermarket. So I drove my car out of the driveway to the road. There everything seemed free, which is why I also drove. I only saw from the right the driver of a Dacia Logan, who was still far away and therefore it was no problem to turn into the road in front of her car. But when she saw me, she apparently gave me gas and I also had to speed up my car in the middle of the road very much to prevent the drivers of the Dacias from crashing into the rear. If I hadn’t given gas, I might not be sitting here anymore, but in the hospital. I assume that the driver of the other vehicle has on purpose accelerated, because I looked him in the face as well. The driver of the other car drove to the same parking lot of the supermarket, where I wanted to buy the milk. She got out, came to me and spoke to me in a loud tone with the words, “Do you think you’re still right? What do you think they’re about to do? You don’t seriously think that I’m going to be required by a snout like you.” e was still far enough away, so I could still turn into the crossroad. She denied all this and said she wanted to report me to the police for coercion. Then I just went to the supermarket and bought the milk because it was too stupid for me to have a conversation with such an educated person. My question would be: Who is right here? Can the woman show me and would I even have something to fear? Look forward to your answers.

Towing hitch question
A customer of mine has a premium SUV of a German Nobel brand. This was equipped 3 years ago ex factory with an AHK, there was only the option to be suspended or swivelled. Due to the striking price difference and over 750kg trailer load difference the removable one was taken, a rigid one is no longer offered during this motorization. Towing load 3250kg. Already after a short time with caravan he has crunchy noises in the underbody of the vehicle. Was not further bad or did it and the manufacturer said this was a noise transmission from the old (14 years) WoWa. Now he bought a Hobby Premium 720U-LHC from me last year (9.8m long, 2700kg curb weight). The crunching and crackling was hard to bear. We found out that the AHK in the weight-absorbing holder is totally knocked out and has game. The manufacturer said that this is quite normal, because this lateral force on the AHK gives the AKS for which the e was not designed, especially with this huge furniture of WoWa. The hook was changed, after a short time the same came again. The manufacturer says now he should not pull any more WoWa, that cannot be the 130,000 EUR expensive car. At least he should not use the AKS. The problem is that the two steel balls that lock the head are totally scratched and crushed and you can also find clear traces of the AKS (ALKO) on the ball head. There is no fixed AHK. One could retrofit it under immense costs, but this can only 2500kg, with which the WoWa can no longer be pulled. Someone there experiences, is the statement of the manufacturer so correct? Can one simply forbid the customer the use of the AKS even though it is required in the instructions, especially since the vehicle has trailer ABS and the trailer ASS? I had at the Avensis then also after 12 months and 9800km with WoWa a new head, cut out and extremely worn out, brand product….

Change drum brake linings
Hello, have the problem that we have to change the brake pads on one of our trailers. The pads no longer sit firmly on the cheeks and rust has formed between the cheek and the covering. The coverings are otherwise still good. Now new coverings come on top, the question now, must the drums also be turned out? The drums still look good, no bars, are only minimally inrun. Axle is a Sauer Wrz 8130. The trailer is not moved so often, therefore possibly also the release the coverings?

Car around 2000€ for beginners
Hello, I have my driver’s license soon and I’m looking for my first car. I’m almost daily on mobile.de and look at cars but I’m not sure what kind of car would be best for me. I’m about 20, I don’t have a fixed job and need my money for my start-up, which means that my budget is limited. However, I don’t want to spend three digits on a car that hardly drives anymore or a Twingo, Matiz. I want to get the most for my money. . 1500€ for a car would be super, 2000€ fine but 250€ is my absolute limit of pain. The car should cost as little as possible in maintenance and insurance, and best at least 12 months TÜV. Repairs and wear parts can be re-made would be a disaster for me. I always check in the description whether the timing belts have been re-made, and whether the engine and gearbox are running well. Are there any further things I have to pay attention to, and how many km maximum? 3 cars the I have looked at the Corsa C, Peugeot 206 (or 207) and the Polo. I personally like the 206 most. For the price range I think that the 206 looks very good (inside and outside). I have heard that models have problems with the electronics before 2006 and of others that Peugeots are generally rather unreliable and can cost money. I have not seen many Polos in this price range, and I have noticed that Polos have a weak performance/hub space ratio But otherwise I have heard the Polos are good cars. If I had to decide without you, I would buy a Corsa because Opel has a very good reputation in the field of price/performance and my gut feeling tells me that it is financially the best decision. My head wants Corsa, my heart wants 206, stupidly said 😛 Which would you recommend me? It doesn’t have to be one of the 3, but I don’t want a car from the lower small car category like a Ford Ka or Twingo. And what else do I have to consider when buying, except timing belts and TÜV? Location: Berlin +50km or Dortmund +150km Thank you in advance Sincerely

Z3 conversion to Z3 turbo
I work at a tuning company in Hungary. We have a project in which we build a BMW Z3 with 1800 ccm on a 1.8 liter with turbocharger. The modifications to range engine are finished and are built in. We thought that the power transmission will be better and reinforced we have found an accident Z3 M coupe from which we would buy the gearbox and cardan shaft un lock differential. So my question would be if these parts of the 3.2 liter Z3 M coupe in our 1.8 lite r turbo convertible would fit? Or who you don’t fit dan what solutions are there? We’ve also heard about a six-speed transmission for Z3 that’s true or are the wrong information?

Car scratched.. Problems with HUK
Hello, I’m new here and don’t know any more why I need experience/tips. My car was completely scratched with panoramic roof+lights on one weekend and I don’t know any more. For the insurance a total damage. According to the report of DEKRA my car has a replacement value of 16 89€ without VAT. (with tax 20 100€) The residual value 16 690€ .. according to HUK a damage sum of 200€. At the bank I still have a residual financing of 18 000€ open. If you sell a car at the remaining value and thus cancel the financing. And who will compensate me for the damage?? Then I don’t have a car, should get me a new one. According to the report it is a damage of approx. 900€ without VAT. So something happened to me for the first time.. I thought the damage sum of 900€ is paid to the bank and I leave the car unrepaired and then at least the financing would have redeemed something. According to HUK there are 2 possibilities. 1. I thought you could also fictitiously charge the money to the bank, of course. I need some experience of what you think about it or there are other options.
