Hello all, I know, such a question came quite often. However, preferences and riders are always different I got my driver’s license at the beginning of the year and am now looking for a suitable bike. As I said, it should cost about 500€, at the most 600€. To me (perhaps helps with the restriction): 32 years and slightly larger grown with 1,9m and 100Kg. To my dream bike (helps with the finding): Triumph Thunderbird 1700 (STORM)!! I am away from my price range… Since I don’t have any real experience apart from a cross-machine and the riding school bike, the question for you now is: which good and reliable bikes would you recommend due to my above mentioned information? Thank you very much and best regards Jan

Family car budget 6.000 Euro
Hello Together, as the title shows, my girlfriend and I are looking for a new car, as we expect young people in May. We are currently driving a Toyota Yaris BJ 2004, which we would like to take into account in advance. It is important for us that the trunk is large, reliable and low i consumption and in the insurance. Basically we are not a frequent driver, but around the 6,000/year and drive mostly only in the inner city, so that a petrol can be considered. Today we have u ns already looked at the Ford Focus tournament 1.6 https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…a1dc-085e-400b-a2d2-2042fbdfa3ea?… The car has made a solid impression, only the rear right bumper has some scratches that, according to the seller, are not due to an accident, but general “use traces” by the previous owner (an older gentleman). We would be able to buy the car for 5,000 euros, incl. 900 euros for our current car (is for a Toyota Yaris with BJ. 2004 900 Euro a good price?) To this would the timing belt be renewed. – good offer? From the same dealer I noticed just the Skoda Octavia https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…641b-df2f-458-bdfd-8d519613dfc7?… or this Skoda Octavia https://www.autoscout24.de/…/…d136-d477-4cb0-aab9-617e939e067?… Since I am unfortunately no expert in the area, I would like to know your feedback on the above cars. Are 900 Euro for a Toyota Yaris with BJ 2004 appropriate ? You can also call me alternative cars, room Lübeck, as we are open for further car brands. Thank you.

All-weather/winter tyre mass situation for two cars
Hello all, I have a Passat B8 and a Daihatsu Terios Allrad. I bought the Passat as a leasing back runner, so it is on all-weather tires. The Terios has two sets of tires, the winter tires soon give up their spirits and the summer tires are only one season old. The Terios is not the latest, has smaller aches and is only used on short distances as a second car, rarely more than once a week, while the Passat is our everyday car. Now we are Wint My idea: – Passat: buy second set of rims with winter tyres and drive up the previous all-weather tyres in summer and then replace them with summer tyres. – Terios: Somehow it was a wrong decision to buy new summer tyres last year. Since the thick tire has these are also quite expensive. For the short distances the effort with two sets of tires is quite high and have room for storage w Is it possible to sell the used summer tyres to some extent? Does that make sense or do you have better ideas? Do I have to pay attention to something when buying a rim for the passat (except that they fit naturally) – is it all primarily a visual question, right?

Problem with new tyres (unbalance or unround)
Hello, I bought a Mercedes S-Class V222, year 2016 with 105tkm. Then there were 18 inch summer tyres, but they were already pretty bad (10 years old and loud). But the car drove clean and quiet with it. I bought and had used 20 inch Mercedes rims and new Hankook winter tires. Unfortunately, the car now runs far too restless. Hankook had already been on a CLS C218 as a summer tire and was actually satisfied with it. Aschine showed 0 everywhere. However, it works “only” in 5g steps. Max. are I believe on one wheel 70g weights on it, the others have less. I would have to look again exactly, but actually this should still be in frame. I could now just balance out somewhere else and if necessary let go. However, I have the feeling that the tires simply run round. I feel already from 60km/h that the car drives restlessly. Moreover, the rolling noise gets louder and louder and it sounds like you’re constantly driving over something. Do you want to complain to the dealer or the manufacturer? I want to have this checked myself anyway. Because I can be, I send the tires back and dealers/manufacturers say everything ok without being able to prove it. But what do you need to be able to check a tire? Finding a dealer with Hunter machine would also be a possibility, but I don’t actually see that in new tires. Rims must of course also check for concentricity in order to be able to exclude this. I am grateful for every advice!

All about winter tires
Moin…, After I could no longer negotiate a discount on the (really good) vehicle price with my EU dealer, he wanted to make me at least a good offer for winter tyres, because I will probably get the T-Cross at the earliest in October. However, there was no alternative known here, apart from the 205 tyres. What about 195 or even 185 tyres? Does someone (reliable) have other tyre widths already registered here? Greetings. .. Kai

Xantia : active safety on four wheels
Ahoi, After several attempts to buy a Xantia, I decided two days ago ad hoc(!) for the small 1.8er. I had already bought many cars, most recently a Volvo V70 D5 (one should think: modern and robust). Especially this one cost me a small fortune. He had bought most recently almost 300tkm, but also expensive. By chance I passed a beautiful Xantia 1.8 16v, shortly after the Volvo had left. And I thought I would just try it. Nich t a spark of rust the car has and both engine and hydraulics work perfectly. It is incredible, but everything works perfectly, from sunroof to climate. Everything tip top! My conclusion after two days and 300 km: This is the best vehicle I’ve ever driven! A top driving behavior! It makes all other cars, much newer, much more modern pathetic. Bravo! That’s what I call really safe driving. I drive now only Xantia. The few liters fuel. The last years have confirmed that diesel is only worth more than 40,000km/year. I would have driven better petrol with my 35,000km! The Xantia is the most positive surprise in many car years and that is unexpected, because it was only added as a transitional car. Get in and feel really comfortable.

grand picasso, berlingo3 or C8 ?
Hello, as our third child announces, we need a bigger car. We have to accommodate 3 children’s seats and have limited ourselves to C4 Grand Picasso, C8 or the new Berlingo. We drive by car into the holiday home holiday, so space for luggage for 5 people should be available. Which of the three vehicles above can you recommend? I have listed our Pros/Cons and hope for addition (e.g. maintenance, experience, safety, consumption values etc. Reperatura Thank you and greeting Frank Berlingo possibly too little comfortable, suitcases too small, only 5 seats, sliding doors, cheap purchase, little frills, children’s diseases?) Grand PicassoCoffe room too small for 2+3, children’s diseases?, no sliding doors, more comfortable and chic, max 7 seats C8 (or prefer Peugeot 807?) still expensive, “old” model, high maintenance costs? sliding doors, lots of space

How to remove rust?
Hello! I discovered the very first rust spot on my A4 today. It’s not very big, but the paint throws bubbles there. Now I’m unsure how to treat this spot best. Just clear paint over it so it’s sealed? Or remove the paint bubbles and repaint? I hope you have some tips in stock! Ciao
