  • Ford fiesta=mazda 121?

I see more often vehicles that I identify as old ford fiesta, when I look at the manufacturer’s logo it is the one of mazda, and also on the model name “121” at the beginning I thought that the nice joke of the owner is, because I see these trains relatively often now and also at google under “mazda 121” the pictures of the actual fiesta come I am now a bit confused… what’s going on, ford has sold the licenses to mazda and they are now too fau i n a new 121 to construct and simply build up the fiesta?! here a link to show you which car it ishttp://upload.wikimedia.org/…/250px-Mazda_121.jpg so thank you in front and a beautiful stormy evening still

  • Expand DPF for environmental protection and preservation of value

Hello all, I would like to make a very heretical thesis: My Mazda 6 diesel with 143 hp DPF, needs on average about 7 liters/100km. Actually the engine is quite economical: Consumptions well below 6 liters are theoretically no problem. But the diesel particle filter destroys everything! About all 150-200km it has to be regenerated and for this the consumption increases by 3-4 liters/100km. Thus the DPF increases the average consumption by at least 1 l/100km. I drive in the year approx. 35000km. This means that the particle filter costs me at least 400€ per year! So I would have saved the cost of the removal (if possible) and the possibly higher tax quickly again. I can unfortunately not judge what is better for the environment: 1 litre more consumption or higher soot load?!? In addition to the history of better value maintenance (!) of the car! By the regeneration of the DPF the oil is DUTTED, as is well known, there are already considerable amounts of flow I am convinced that without DPF, the engines would last much longer. These all disadvantages do not exist with the retrofit filter. So my question: to expand standard DPF and to clean up the retrofit filter?

  • Does not accept gas after cold start

It is a Forrester SH ecomatics, i.e. with factory LPG with 120tkm. Error picture: After a cold start the engine does not take a gas for a short time (I did not measure it, it felt about 30 seconds). The engine starts easily and absolutely inconspicuously immediately and then runs stable with its elevated stationary gas. As soon as I give gas the speed drops until shortly before dying down and stays down until I go again from accelerator, then it “shoots” once briefly, sinks but then immediately to the increased idle speed. This he does always, always only for a certain time and afterwards runs again inconspicuously. It also does not matter whether a gear is inserted or not. There is no MIL, no error and in error memory is also nothing deposited. I noticed this problem for about 6 months and I have the feeling that it gets worse. At this point I would actually exclude the gas system as a cause of error, first of all the at this time Inactive, second, I have no other problems and thirdly, I made the last trips to work on gasoline to exclude them and the behavior was exactly the same. Does anyone have an idea? FreeSSM is available, should I read certain values with it?

  • Brake discs and pads: recommendations from brands (Impreza Diesel)

Hello, I need new brake discs and pads for the 2011 Impreza Diesel. I drive from time to time sporty, but I am not a racing driver driving relatively few kilometers in general. In the forest of automotive aftermarket there are countless brands. Which of them you can recommend, which not at all? I write here a list on brands of which I believe it should fit: Brembo Ate TRW Bosch … Is there also a combination of discs and pads that you should not build together? nke

  • Motor control lamp and ESP lamp are connected simultaneously

Hi I’m having quite a problem right now. At my Impreza 2.0D today after I parked it after half an hour, both the motor control light and the ESP (off?) light went on at the same time. I also have to say that since a while the particle filter light has been shining but I haven’t taken care of it yet. (And it seems to me that the train has dropped something but can also fool me.) I’m just 500 km away from home. t in Austria and don’t know me very well here either. What should I do now? Can I take the way home like this?

  • Forester or Outback 2016

Hello together. At the end of the year there is our first Subaru. On Saturday 26th March we will do the test drive. To the selection stand: FORESTER 2.0XT AWD LUXURY and OUTBACK 2.5i AWD LUXURY. Both model year 2016. Price New around 47’00 Fr. Or 6 months old around 41’009 Fr. I know the question which it will have to decide myself. 240 hp in the Forester are already a lot more than the 175 hp in the outback. Do I notice this difference? Luggage compartment is about the same size. I don’t. But in the outback more available. All-wheel drive exactly the same with both? Did someone ever stand before the same or similar decision? Thank you for your help Gruss Dani (currently on the way with Sharan TDI 2013)

  • Forester SF with almost fresh TÜV a total wreck

Hello, again a totally stupid and idiotic action of mine. I bought myself the days a very good standing Forester SF from 1997. TÜV in December 2018 fresh (before 2000km). From the seller only the wheel bearing was mentioned as defective and then I thought to myself, “Super, that keeps itself within limits) Today to the friendly screwdriver in the workshop for the wheel bearing. He brought the car down directly and said, “Stop, throw away” According to the workshop the fo In other words, the assumption that was worked there with vitamin B was obvious. The following defects were shown to me: – Front crossbars both fell due to rust and partly already externally – rear wheel suspension completely knocked out including partly non-existent rubber bearings – axle suspension by rusted – frame and especially the thresholdrs by – brake lines through and already lose liquid – shock absorber rear left defect According to Werksta tt too many serious flaws in such a short time that make a car degenerate from transportable to wreck after 2,000km what do you think? Recommendation for me was to call the inspector and ask how this can go…… I think the coal is put in the sand. Was a private purchase, I was too gullible, and the seller says bought as seen. LG

  • Driving and working time the same thing? Or not? What’s right now?

Hi, Is working time and driving time the same or not? I think that I can have 9 hours of pure driving time on the day and can carry out loading and unloading activities in between, so that I can also be able to travel 11 hours, if I have only been driving 9 hours in these 11 hours. My digital tachograph distinguishes at least finely between driving and working hours. Despite that I travel about 10 hours a day, I can’t even get close to the 9 hours driving time. When I start at 6 am I have to take a break between 12 am and 1 pm, at least according to the tachograph. Unfortunately everyone tells me something else, I have already heard the driving and working hours would be the same, so you are not allowed to travel for more than 9 hours every day (apart from the exceptions). So when I start at 6 am I have to stop at 3 pm, even if I do 5 hours of loading and unloading during this time. I didn’t even get a clear answer at the driving school, I asked three times and every time my question was apparently misunderstood!? I then gave up…

  • Selection Nissan, Opel, Galloper,Lada

Tach I am looking for inexpensive used off-road vehicles as second car which should drive about 10-15000 km a year. Should trailer up to 2 to (2.5 to would not be bad but not have to) be able to pull, also sometimes over 300km. At the same time also for wood fetching in the forest can be reliably moved away from paved paths with almost 2to trailer (say sometimes forest paths easily muddled..) Thought on what used, bitl screw I can, but a construction site should not be, spare parts well available My presentation:Nissan Terrano from Bj ca 1997/1998, Opel Frontera 2.2 from BJ 98, Galloper or Lada Niva (perhaps exotic consideration..) new…as a grey import…. So two, three weekends I would also put in work, if the vehicle afterwards does not constantly annoy for rust prevention (Niva) or smaller reperatures…. Price presentation so up to 7000 Euro… What to recommend ? Thank you! greet guni
