  • disk wiper no longer goes out! no joke!!!

Hi! yesterday I installed my alarm system carguard defender and drive today nothing guessing to the döner. all of a sudden my front and windscreen wipers go on and no longer goes out. only if I turn off the ignition of course I stopped directly and removed the plug from the alarm system from the main unit. but that didn’t work out. the windscreen wiper only goes out when I put out the fuses on the safety box. which is also strange : -the he The front wash doesn’t do anything but make funny noises and when I pull the wiper switch(to wash the windshield at the front) the contact at the windscreen wiper switch starts to cook and it smokes – the blinkers don’t go anymore, but the warning flash already!!! I know that sounds crazy but I really don’t have any idea what this might be about. hope you have more idea than I do!!!

  • VW before big problems!?

Oh ever – I see bad times approaching for the VW Group! On the press photos the new VW ́s actually always look very palpable – but on the “realistic” photos it looks quite different. See example Golf V:Theme of hangcook This starts with the Touran (no-speaking form), goes over the Audi A3 (cheap-looking Japan-shape / unportable) up to the Touareg (unharmonic rear / too provocative emblems). In addition, the bad sales numbers of the Phaeton (actually a pity – which is The ever-higher selling prices, the internal competition of Skoda, Audi and Seat, more frequent complaints (thanks to Mr. Lopez who already put Opel in the sand with his insane cost reductions), etc. I certainly don’t doubt that the Golf V will be the best-selling car again – but this is certainly no longer due to objective purchase criteria but to the tradition of “golf” and the associated conviction “The last golf was ok – then will be It’s probably this one too!” On an objective point of view, many manufacturers offer more attractive products for less money – especially the French of the PSA group and Renault with its new safety concepts. And yes: Opel is also a big catch-up in terms of design, quality and attractiveness (by the way, I personally drive VW – “still” out of conviction) I see the great danger that VW is now making the same mistake as Opel 15 years ago – too boring products with sinke There are no cars according to the style of Scirocco or Corrado – these were cars with character. One should never rely exclusively on the company history and the effect of the brand symbol.

  • TVR Cerbera or Tuscan: Where to buy?

Hello TVR friends, I fell in love with the brand TVR and like the Cerbera and the Tuscan. At pistonheads in England many are offered at moderate prices, unfortunately all only RHD. Does anyone know how serious pistonheads.com is? Where can you buy good models in Germany (BJ 2000-2003)? Which model is suitable for the German market (fine dust badge green)? My questions are addressed to TVR experienced people who drive a TVR (cerbera, tuscan) themselves and give me decisive tips I probably have to look for England and there for a suitable model. In Würzburg there should be an intermediary, who travels with interested parties to England and offers vehicles, because he made a deal with dealers on site. He negates and gets a premium for it. Thanks for your answers. I am very curious if I can realize my dream or if it bursts like a soap bubble.

  • Beginner’s car

Hello, I (male) would like to get my first car soon. It should not be like 3000€ and should not have driven more than 90000km. For equipment: airbags (min 4), possibly air conditioning Besides, the car should not be older than 10 years. I would be happy about suggestions, or about opinions from other beginners.

  • First car many questions

Servus I have registered with you to get help. so it’s about me being 18 in 2 months and saving up to the 18th 3600 euros for teaching money. So I want to let me help with the car selection or ask more 1 Are 3600 euros for a GOODS car too little? already something not true? • Lowering bad for road situation?

I’m posting this here because there are a lot of people here with a clue that can distinguish optical effects from driving dynamic effects. I recently found a contribution to the VW-TDI engine while browsing on an American side, which warns against lowering, as this changes the geometry of the McPherson front wheel guidance (not only with VW). The author writes that the (my translation…) geometric pivot of the vehicle is shifted downwards, which d I think the author is referring to the intended pivot point around which the car tilts when it leans towards the outside of the corner. Here is the (English) link, for all interested parties. Scroll far down, the headline is called “h. suspension” and is unfortunately not directly jumpable (you end up at “Bigger Injectors”).http://www.tdiclub.com/TDIFAQ/TDiFAQ-6.html#h. Since I have never heard anything like this before, but otherwise find the article quite serious, I ask for your Meinu ngen. mfG Michael

  • Pajero Sport starts badly

Hello parish! It’s about the Pajero sport from my parents-in-law. Since the purchase in 2002 2 things are annoying, which no one could fix up to now. 1. The tires wummer like anything else, run off to the outside quickly, several times an axle measurement has already been done and also a balancing of the wheels did not bring anything, is the problem known? 2. and most important problem, if you want to start the thick he makes this only reluctantly, in the 5th attempt and with much orgelnschaft e r to jump it then, but then he also hits a decent soot cloud out of the back (there you get really scared). But if he then runs and you turn him off and then again, then he starts the first time immediately. In the long run this annoys. Someone an idea? Achso: Pajero Sport, Bj 2002, 115 Ps Diesel, about 140 Tkm, As a draw horse for the tournament horses in use P.S. the lighting from the compass has failed, can you change it yourself?

  • 185hp D5 consumption.

Hello, Can it be that the new D5 burns significantly more diesel than the old 163hp engine?? Well known by us, even in NL it was difficult to get the car to an average consumption of 9.5L. Of the V70 II with 163D5 I was actually quite satisfied with a BC cut of 7.2L. Does the new D5 really need more diesel than the “old” engine due to its just 22hp extra power now?? And what does this look like with the 2.4D needs the deutl I am less than the D5, according to Volvo Germany the consumption is almost identical?! Greeting Martin
