  • Alus Borbet E – ABE or TÜV acceptance required for Stilo

Hello, I bought the following winter tyres: Borbet E 7 x 15 Michelin Alpin A2 195/65 R 15 T Now the aluminiums have an ABE, the dealer said. I got from him such a “Lappen”, with the heading “ABE for the grant of a supplement” As conditions does not appear in my Stilo, that it has to be taken away by an officially recognized expert. However, with other motor vehicles mostly e.g. Punto, Bravo etc… Makes me already stutzig, that only with my Stilo not. At Borbet on www.borbet.de you can even download the ABE ́s as a pdf file. Could my dealer possibly have changed the file? (Would yes be forgery of documents!) At our Benz W 211 E 270 CDI the ABE looks different and is a letter from the Kraftfahrtbundesamt. Should I rather go to the TÜV for safety, or can I trust the ABE or is it not an ABE, since ABE is about to grant a supplement? Thank you! In the appendix a B Ild! Greetings

  • Rest in peace

Yes, I admit, I have my beloved Punto Bj 97 now on my conscience. My carelessness has now made it so far that he was suddenly and without precaution torn out of life. I loved him like my first love and now I have killed him. I will never forgive myself. Even in the second of his death he protected me still sacrificingly even though he has already seen the parking Corsa and knew that it will come to an end now. He still has the Corsa so much it pushes that he no longer had to cope with all the energy that is standing at 50km/h alone. He pushed the Corsa against an Arosa. The Corsa is currently on Intensive and the prospects look very bad with him! It is an agony for me now to have to live with killing my lover Punto. But as much as I wish, I can’t undo it. These pictures will never go out of my head when I look at the death of my Punto. It is a violent pain that blows in my heart. I have learned him in 1 year and 7 days as much love as you can only love a car and yet a second of carelessness was enough to suck the precious life out of his tin dress. I can only hope that he didn’t suffer for long. I will never forgive myself. I can only say that I am alive. Ol my beloved Punto, I will weep for you some more tears. In that sense take care of you and your cars Sad greeting from PuntoFlame

  • How about your diesels from Lancia and Fiat…

… with regard to the exhaust gas standard (Euro classification)? My recently acquired Dedra TD has Euro 2 with oxicate. I thought this is not sooo bad so far, since someone in the acquaintance circle has a somewhat newer Lybra JTD (Bj. 2000/2001) and this also “only” EURO 2 entragen. I ask because I read in the newspaper this morning that, even from June 2005 diesel cars with Euro 2 can no longer drive in the city center (Nuremberg) if the limit values Which EURO 2 standards have you registered? From when would there be Italians with Euro 3 (they are supposed to not be allowed to drive in the city centre from June 2006 onwards!) ? Can you do something about it with a soot particulate filter (is there ever recognized) and even reach something even EURO 3? THANK YOU.

  • Buy or lease Fiat 500 electric?

Also here in the forum the question, because it might fit better. I drove the Fiat 500e today and was very pleased with the car. The driving behavior has promised me and the equipment I found quite modern and chic (at least in the upscale La Prima variant). With a driving performance of approx. 10,000km annually, mainly short and medium distance in and around the big city as well as every 4-6 weeks approx. 150km highway to the home, I think to downsize. In the car are rarely more than 2 persons and I don’t need a lot of trunk either. Therefore the consideration of the Fiat 500e. What is not so convincing with the Fiat 500e are the current leasing rates. With the large battery and one or other extra equipment (winter package, LED pig launcher, PDC) it will be difficult to find something under 250 € per month at a term of 3 years. The purchase price would settle at approx. 36k € list price. So after environmental premium approx. 27k €. The leasing rates for 3 years would cost me at least 9k €. To make the leasing more worthwhile, the car would have to be worth less than 18k € after 3 years after deduction of the premiums (if bought at 27k €) (about 50 % of the list price). To the 27k € will be added if car is partially financed. However, with the current high premiums I can hardly estimate how the performance of e-cars is in the coming years. An advantage for the purchase would be the flexibilitä I can well imagine driving the car for more than 3 years, if the driving behaviour does not change fundamentally. I am also more flexible about e.g. the choice of free workshops and whether I can repair minor paint damage or whether I can live with it well. Leasing on the other hand has the advantage that I am only tied to a car for a short time. If the car does not promise me in the long term, I can just do this after 3 years. The industry is very fast-paced at the moment and who knows how far the technology has developed in terms of batteries and e-drive in a few years or how the prices will develop until then. My current leasing runs until next year. So it is to be seen to what extent the BAFA premium is still available next year. However, this would affect both leasing and the purchase. Did you buy or leased? What do you prefer?

  • Questions about the 500e convertible

Hello, My wife wants a Fiat 500e as a successor for her Zoé. On Saturday we drove an icon and were thrilled. Now it should be a convertible. Well, my question. Can someone tell me if the convertible is somewhat noise-friendly compared to the limousine? Especially with regard to wind noise. Is a convertible really suitable for winter or do you have to fight more against low temperatures? Of course in closed condition. 🙂 Would the convertible Fah rer order the model again or after experiences prefer to take the closed one? Would I be very pleased about your experiences.

  • Recommendations for purchase 500e

Hello, I’m still here in the forum and there’s a reason: I want to buy a new Fiat 500e. But since there are relatively many variants, I’m a little confused. What do you recommend? Icon or La Prima? And what packages do you really need (Icon – comfort package because of the driver’s seat? I’m about 1.65 m tall)? And what do you get if you don’t have an electric window lifter? Has your dealer already included the environmental premium of approx. 3000€ in your dealer’s discount. can you even do that? As you can see, questions about questions. Thank you for your answers.

  • Rear flap scratched by tank hose

I think everyone knows this , the fuel price is cheap again for a short time and you line up in the long queue. Then of course a column against the tank flap is released and you drive up because you otherwise become an obstacle. So pull out the hose weeeeit and lead around the car to the stun. Russel in and then it happens , the hose pulls in again in the column and fastens up and scratches on the completely dirty tail flap the varnish is sick. Mus I found the worst scratches on the tailgate under the backlight again at exposed place when I was drying after the last laundry. So I have to have my paint professional polish out again in the spring and then let the tailgate re-treat with the 2K seal, which the whole car has. Therefore he asked you the question, has it happened to you already and gives you a tip like me sowa Jaaaaaa, I know of course….choose the column on the right side is in place one of the tips.

  • Search Secret Weapon Against Glue Remnants

Hi! The previous owner of my Honda has somehow glued it with decorative strips and such a mess. Of course I took off these directly, I have now in 3 places still adhesive remains, which are very stubborn. 1. bonnet: Here were such eyes glued on. There were plastic stickers and there were only adhesive remains left on the paint. 2. tail flap: Here was a plastic chrome strip attached. Here is still a kind of foam and just the underlying glue on it. 3. An original H Onda logo has been removed from me. There are stone hard glue wedges left on the varnish. What are your secret weapons?

  • Cracks in the artificial leather itself patching?

Hello, I have a crack in the driver’s seat artificial leather of my CLK ́s. Now I had thought about patching the crack myself. Have already found that I probably need leather glue and liquid leather. Do I need leather gasoline for cleaning artificial leather? Or rather leave it with artificial leather? Can I also somehow make a negative impression of the leather? If with what?

  • Search cheap beginner car

Good evening, my name is Klaus am 20 and I have just made my FS. I am looking for a cheap beginner car for the WE. I am 195 cm tall and weigh 96 kg. Therefore the car should not necessarily be tiny. I do the wef to work by train. I only need the car to shop at the WE. Occasionally I also want to be a little flexible. However, the car will rarely drive more than 30 km I think I will come to almost 5000 km a year. I don’t like car driving particularly Criteria: Niedrieger Vrbrauch (max. 5 liters) Cheap maintenance Niedriege Reperaturkosten. No elktrischnack. I don’t want a car where I have to put every little thing in the workshop. A speedometer lighting should be able to repair yourself as well as the brake discs. It would also be good if the car could be brought in a free workshop for inspection. My budget is about 500€ I know I am here in the Citroen Forum but maybe I am here in the Citroen Forum you can also recommend me other models. The C1 is already ok however it is still too expensive. Besides there is probably a lot of technology (climate and so on). A friend has a Fiesta (built in 2006) and the consumption about 8 liters that would be too much for me. I hope you can help me. Greeting Klaus.
