Hello together, I know this is an old, sorry topic, but my problem is that I only have one interested party who is willing to pay me a fair price. However, he also wants to take the car registered on his 350km drive. I understand that. He is also willing to show his ID card and make all kinds of contractual agreements. But then you read on the internet all these horror stories (mostly older) that despite contractual agreements something What’s that like? Is there a way to secure 99,9 %, or should I just let it go? I had posted classified ads at Ebay and the dealer wrote me https://www.autohandel-noah.de/vehicle rating/. I think because he wants to drive to me I have the advantage if he wants to fold in front of the place nocvh that I then stur stelen kan because very not want to drive back empty.

What is better: MM or mechanical throttle flap?
Hello together, so slowly I look around again for a V70 I. I had one with the electronic MM-Rosselklappe and wonder if I should also take the mechanical throttle models into the search. The problem with the MM-Dk is known to me, but I would rely on the overhaul for 200 € at this specialist company. I would not take a car with DK problems (empty running problems) or burning engine warning light anyway, so only a clean working e MM-DK. Why do I even ask: I absolutely want a car with cruise control again. Now the mechanical DK is also mechanical, and then I wonder if the mechnaic cruise control is as good as the electronic one. Unfortunately, I have no comparison. What do the people with mechanical cruise control say, is it usable or rather sluggish? Is the maintenance prone (low pressure anything)?

Drink holder in DIN box
Hello friends, I saw a picture here in the forum when I was browsing, where one had installed a drink holder in the DIN box under or above the radio. Unfortunately I can’t find the picture anymore, otherwise I would write the person directly to. At least I ordered a can holder from SEAT now and it is already there. I haven’t started the installation yet, this is supposed to happen next week. My question is now to those who have installed such a part. I’m grateful for your help. In the appendix a picture of an auction so that you know what I mean. Greetings Janko PS: I chose the variant because the middle backrests are so piggy-backed and would disturb me when switching the bottle. I found a very good solution in the golf, for example…

All terrain tires on 850s and height adjustment
Hello together My 850er kombi needs new tires. Since I’m going to Azerbaijan next January (with a breaker to Syria), further around the Caspian Sea and then back up, I also need tires with which one can “get through” well. Does anyone have any experience in the 850er Kombi Höferlegung? The whole thing is to become a somewhat more terrain-friendly car. We certainly don’t need to discuss the meaningfulness of this project here, I just need helpful hints. I’m grateful for any advice. YIHA!

Conversion E2 to Euro 2 not possible because of gas system?
Hello people, with my recently acquired Volvo 850 2.0 10 V (“Italy version”, retrofitted with gas system, I received the following answer on request from the Volvo customer service for the conversion from E2 to Euro2: “…Unfortunately your Volvo is retrofitted to operation with liquefied petroleum gas. Against this background we do not have any documentation on the exhaust gas behaviour of your vehicle and for this reason we cannot issue a certificate for the possible re-encryption. Your understanding. …” I’m used to a lot, but where’s the point? Should I take out the gas system now, re-encrypt it and install it again? Or could I do an exhaust test at the TÜV? Has anyone ever had this case before, what could I do? Greetings ytcruiser

Terrible crash in the automatic transmission
Hello guys, it’s embarrassing for me and I could slap my ears for so much stupidity. When driving after the ATF change on my V70I 2,5 bi-fuel, year ’98, I gave gas in the stand with the brake kicked, the lever on D. After a few seconds the flow of force would suddenly be interrupted, with a rather terrible, cracking, rattling noise. I took away gas directly and switched to N. After that again on D and could continue normally. Since then I have been about . 400km driven and everything works well. Except that twice during this time I switched off the gearbox after the acceleration and then took away gas only very reluctantly again. Switching down while giving gas or kick down works perfectly. Today, however, the same thing happened to me again, just because I gave strong gas when starting up. This time the noise was similar, but not so loud, because it was not such a high moment as the first time. What could d have I broken a lot now? I would be grateful for answers. Please don’t ask me why and why. It’s really idiotic. Greetings, Falko

328,000 with a clutch!?
Moinsen, crass about what you think about a boring Hausmann Sunday I know that there is no general durability specification for couplings, this is dependent on driving mode and especially on the starting skills of the respective driver What I’m surprised about is that I don’t have any documentation about a clutch replacement and on the other hand it doesn’t look like the gearbox has been separated from the engine! The point is, my T5 has 328,000 on the Uh r and the clutch has been completely inconspicuous the last two years, clean, does not pull and does not slip! Can it be that it is actually the first clutch? If yes, we can make a competition out of it (Sorry dear Schaltfaule ) Greeting Johnny EDIT: I was only surprised because I know so many NON-Volvo drivers who had to make the clutch at the latest at 200,000

Individual consulting: eccentrics, pads, polishes..
Hello guys! ..I’m going through it!! For weeks I’ve made myself smart about a matching eccentric polishing machine, pads and polishes.. I thought. About four hours ago I made the decision to order and then started.. My plan (or my order list) was the following/r:1. Machine: Actually, it was clear that it was supposed to be the Dodo Juice Buf Daddy Orbital or a similar device. But now I have come across the KESTREL DAS-6. It cost 20 euros less and is still 2. Pads Here I completely lost the overview. I thought I need light, medium and sharp pads. But which for what and how many??3. Polishing(s) I was sure that it can only be Menzerna. I also have 2 Audi which should be processed in addition to my pass. But I don’t really look through what I need and what I don’t take a liter and what is enough 250ml.? I would really be happy about who I need for the Menzerna polishes. someone helps me out of my despair! mfG bebolus

A Saturday afternoon with Meguiars…
No I’m not the absolute full pro who uses a different rag for each square centimeter of his car with another cleaning product. I have to enjoy it and I have to look forward to a nice . clean car at the end. So I proceeded in the 5 hours: 1. Car with water hose thoroughly rinsed off. 2. In the front area and the mirrors Sonax insect remover let work, then wipe insect residues with sponge. 3. Car with lukewarm water and meguar 5. Wash the car again like 3 with cold water. 6. Spray rims with Sonax rim cleaner and clean accordingly. 7. Dry the car thoroughly. 8. Polish the car with Meguiar’s Swirl X. I’m thrilled. Easy to process and supergloss. 9. Protective application of Meguiar’s NXT Tech Wax. 10. Clean panes etc. As I said I’m not the professional, the products I’ve been looking for myself on the Internet and am satisfied with the result. When the Tech Wax is used up I actually wanted to try out a fixed Wax (e.g. Collonite Auto-Wachs No. 476). You read a lot about it here. Should also last longer. On the other hand I like the easy processing of Tech Wax. About tips and improvements of you I am happy !!

Tyre pressure control system in the Volvo XC60
Have you ever read anything about an optional tire pressure control system? Is there any such thing at all with Volvo? If yes how does it work? Greetings A waiting XC60 buyer
