Hello, I’ve been looking at two mountain races, among others, lately. I liked it, but unfortunately it’s nothing for me because you have too little driving time. The price-performance ratio is ok, however, if I look at the few euro face money. What disappointed me was the small number of participants. So I was in Tiefenbach and in Klotten. In Tiefenbach maybe 35-40 cars at the start in Klotten could have been maybe 60 with the GLP at the end. A friend who also drives mountain races said that in the past there had been twice as many mentions. What interests me now is whether you also notice a decline in the actives in your clubs or as a spectator? I mean now not especially mountain races but basic motor sports in general. I drive GLP myself, and here there is nothing to notice of a decline on the contrary. What about the slalom, 1/4 mile, round track, kart etc.? Greeting Michael

Decrease after change of insurance?
Hello, my sister made her driver’s license 1.5 years ago and insured her car 03/2014 with AdmiralDirekt. She quit on time for March 2015 and changed to HUK. She confirmed the contract with the SF class 1. Now came a new letter with a contract adjustment. Supposedly, the information from the other insurer about the damage would now be available and she would be classified into SF class 1/2. Of course, this is more expensive. What happened here? Why is my Schw unfortunately she could not reach the HUK anymore today, as the insurance companies do not work on the weekend. I think that is quite naughty and would advise her to cancel immediately, if that remains the case.

Insurance sought for beginners (SF 0)
Hello, I am looking for a cheap insurance for beginners. Since I have only had the driver’s license for 6 months and no one I can insure myself with I catch at SF 0 100% or 95%, now I am looking for a liability insurance to get at least the first 2 – 3 years into a lower damage-free class. Originally I wanted to get to the ADAC which was in ECO tariff quite cheap, has branches everywhere etc. The problem was the 1st year SF 0 with 100%, in the 2nd year SF 1/2 with 95% and in the 3rd year SF 1 should be with 79 %. That is quite expensive for a beginner.

HUK Kasko Select Tariff Cheap Disc
Hello! I unfortunately broke my windshield when changing my windshield wipers. I then reported this to my insurance company and had the windshield changed at Carglass on 18.08. Ne week later, in good sunshine, I had to find out that the windshield was really unpleasant. Then I looked and there is a windshield of “FUYAO” in it. The original wanted to be of “Saint-Gobain”. Have the HUK an e-mail on 22.08 (there it is unfortunately only on efallen), which until now, except for a confirmation of receipt, remained unanswered. After a call, I was referred to Carglass, as they should know that original parts should be installed. I mailed them today. I can’t call them because no 0800 numbers work from abroad. I’m only back in D from 31.08. What can/should I do? By the way, I haven’t paid the excess of 150€ until now and I won’t be able to do that until then. a solution to the problem.

Poor rust protection Logan MCV
Hello, I’ve had my new MCV for 2 weeks. I’m really satisfied. Where I’m a little scared, how sparingly the Romanians deal with cavity sealing and underbody protection. Everywhere down in the engine compartment or on the underbody and in the wheel blades bare screws and places without underbody protection. Also in the doors (had the cladding off because of LS installation), only below very little sealing, otherwise bare sheet metal. Had a Ford Mondeo station wagon before, which was built in 1997 but de In the meantime, I have already used the underbody protection spray. BUT IT’S A NEW CAR, and you shouldn’t have to do that yet. Or am I wrong?

Fueled instead of diesel – What now?
Hey, as the title already says, my sister recently borrowed our Lodgy for a longer motorway ride, because her little 1.2l suction gasoline is not the best vehicle for it. But when she refueled, she unfortunately forgot that the Lodgy was driving with diesel, filled it with fuel (40l petrol) and drove on until he started stuttering (about 5km). At that point she also noticed her mistake and had the Lodgy towed and pumped out. It stutters at low revolutions and a lot of load, hardly starts at the low temperatures (now at -15 °C I had to turn it for 15 seconds and it barely came over 800 revolutions despite full throttle, until it finally injected/burned on all cylinders after 30 further seconds and finally ran half normal) and even at high revolutions it is much weaker than before. Technical data: BJ: 12/2012 134,000km 1.6d ci 110ps My question is now: What would a repair cost (I take high pressure pump, injectors and lines (+tank?), or can it be that only the pump gives up its mind?) and what do you think the repair would pay off or should you try to get rid of it (how does it look with residual value?) More information about the value assessment: Otherwise it is technically in a perfect condition. Only a few small external scratches, just new brakes front and crossbars a uf one side, new V-belts at 130,000km, §57a report without defects and almost all the equipment you could have in 2012.

Accident built… total damage? What now??
Hello together, I built an accident on Tuesday morning. I missed a car, then slipped and someone took the lead. The woman got into the side with her polo (directly at the height of the front axle). Insurance takes care of everything. Car is at my Audi dealer and the expert was there today. I phoned the Audi dealer today. That meant then you have to wait and see what the expert for numbers brings. He said if the repair costs more than 7-8000 euro is not sure if you can fix it. Can that be? I think the A3 Sportback (112,000km, 170 hp, S-Line optics and interior) is still worth 13.-15,000 euro. Can the insurance then say that you can’t fix it anymore?? Can it be if the expert estimates my car at say 10,000 euro that I will only get the money, although I want to repair my car?? Am very unsure at the moment, because I was very satisfied with the car and it is still for 3 years I’m sorry. I’m sorry.

Damage to use without new purchase
Hello dear people, I did not find an answer to my special problem in the articles and FAQ. I hope someone can help me here. In December 2012 my parking car (12 years) was scrapped by another car. Expert report: Restitution value: 2100,- Rest value: 300,- Damage: approx. 4500,- Insurance paid 1800,- plus expense flat rate, the workshop found someone for 300,-. So far everything is fine. I find no solution for the failure of use. for my situation. The replacement time was stated in the report with 14 days. But now I have not found a new car to this day, which is due to my lack of resolve. On the other hand, during this time I drive a 24 year old Golf II of an acquaintance, who can no longer afford a car financially, but does not want to lose her beloved car. Therefore I paid for you the liability and the tax. So I come at least to the Arb and back and she doesn’t need to log off the car (had she done for 11 months before, which is not good for the car), until she is on both legs again. For me, the problem of the use failure now arises. The fact is that I need a car. Instead of a rental car I have found a more cost-effective solution with which I can also help someone. However, I pay for every day of use. There are court rulings that a new purchase is mandatory. But there are also (newer) court rulings that no new purchase is necessary. So nothing reliable for me. Some people come from practice here. How do you judge this case? 1. Can I make a little extra time? I would like to get (m) a new car (is not the best thing for me to drive the car), but then my acquaintance has the financial problem of the car again. An acquaintance told me about 6 months, which one has time. However, the different judgments confuse me. 2. By using the foreign car I may have lost my claim to the ground, so that I don’t have to worry about the rest anymore? I would be grateful for every tip.
