Evaluator determines the damage // Excess if both tyres have to be replaced?
Hello together! Someone drove me in a few days ago. I brought the car to the Mercedes workshop the next morning and an expert took the damage. Because one of the two front tires is damaged, the expert said that also the not damaged front tire has to be changed, because otherwise the difference of the profile between the new and the used tire would be too big. But he also told me that I had about 20% of the costs ( for the two new tyres) because the current tyres are already needed and they are replaced with new tyres. ?!?!? Can someone explain or confirm that it is really like this and if so, why? I’m not interested in whether the current tyres are needed or not. The tyres are still good (vehicle only has 8000 km on them) and I think that I could even use the summer tyres for the next summer. Change of insurance from 48hp to 100+hp
Hey guys, my situation is this: I can finally extend my driver’s license from A2 to A next year (in July). Now, of course, I’d like to cut off my CBR600RR and ask myself a few questions about the insurance. The insurance is currently relatively cheap at reduced 48hp, which is why I have allowed the machine all year round. I will probably switch to a Saision license plate if I remove the throttle (just cheaper and I fa I don’t think I’m going to stay with my current insurance, because they would have more or less free hand when changing the contract and I probably could then make a real deal. So I’m changing the insurance now at the beginning of the year? To an insurance that offers a good course for the undisturbed 120hp? Would that guarantee me that I would then be able to do so? can also switch to the course (in July)? Because then would be insured there and then the likes say: no, this offer only exists for new contracts…..blabla. Can I insure already at the beginning of the year (or then March, because of season registration marks) for 120hp, but only 48hp drive? Would theoretically be a false indication in the contract?! Or should I simply unsubscribe before I extend my driver’s license, then the insurance is automatically terminated and I could change it a few Day after day, I have to register again with new insurance. I have to go to the road traffic office anyway, because of the change to the season registration mark. Can you just do that? Or are there any guidelines that forbid you to register again immediately after registration? Because that’s how everyone could easily get out of their insurance contract, simply unsubscribe, re-register, done. I’m really a bit perplexed…. Does anyone have any experience with it? How best to insure wife’s car?
Hello, my girlfriend and I have married, and our previous SF-classes are, because my wife is 10 years younger than me, very different: I have my vehicle currently fully covered with SF20, but she is still with SF1. If I now make an insurance comparison with one of the portals, the status “married” hardly affects at all. However, I can register it with my vehicle as a driver, which obviously works (probably) h since she is a wife) not really negative on the contributions. Now the question: can I simply assure her car as a main driver on me? How is that, if she is actually driving with it, am I regressive in the event of damage? Or differently asked: how would you handle the situation: married, different SF classes, two fully cascade-insured vehicles? Thanks for all the tips.

The expert said car door(linker side) should be replaced, and Kotfl 2000€ damage sounds very good to me, because the car is supposed to be gone anyway. I would never see the 2000€, but only get an offer, because that would be considered as total damage. However, I am afraid to be pulled over the table, what would I have to get at least offered, what would be a good price? Have experience, with such a thing ? PS: Living in Austria. Mfg

M57TÜ2: yellow indicator lamp (P3264): sound of pressing air from 2.000 rpm
Hello, I had to change my cooler 6 months ago and also immediately renewed the glow plugs and STG. I removed the air flow from filter, turbo, turbo cooler to AGR and air collector. After about 4tkm now after a fast highway trip I had turned off the X3 and left again after 30 minutes. I already noticed that from 2,000 rpm a strange noise occurred, as if air was pumping out at a leaking hose connection – “unfortunately” only under load. N Ach 5 Min has also approached the motor lamp, error memory says P3264 (seemingly air mass or air quantity flow rate (bank 1)), In the stand one hears nothing. I would say when driving there is hardly noticeable power loss. Have had the cover down and made a visual check, unfortunately nothing found. Can one limit on the basis of the error number, which hose is apparently leaking or at which place? Are there recommendations for troubleshooting or to the procedure? + Best regards Tobi

120dA B47D20: air mass higher than target value
Hello, have discovered that with my f20 20da Lci the air mass is higher than the sea target value. Measured as well as with the gas give the values remain the same with the distance. At 2000u it is supposed to be 120 and 70 is at. Is this a problem? Air filter was changed recently.

F20 116d AGR cooler 3 Zyl engine
Tach municipality, once again the little one from my daughter……Daughter has been coming to dad for weeks and says my car often shows coolant level too low. Ok, so once filled up and good, externally nothing to recognize. No water loss in the engine, ÖL even without entry. So first filled up. Result after 14 days again over 0.5 ltr away…… so sometimes a little bit stuttered and came on the topic AGR cooler. Today at the friendly ….he wants to check however only for so much how the AGR cooler costs me…325 EUR. When I learned cart clamper … there were not such great things yet. Ergo I might need some tips…..redeem was removed from the temperature sensor – if this fully Russ everything ok if clean then AGR cooler defective. 330xd N57, metallic/hissing sound from 1800 rpm – 2500 rpm
Hello dear E90 community, Looking for desperate without success, I have decided to describe my problems in this forum. Whenever I have the engine turned to about 1800 rpm, a rhythmic hissing sound is to be heard and stops at about 2400 rpm. I have a video on YouTube that has exactly the same problem as me, and in the comments of this video it says that it is the control chain or is a quite normal noise. However, since I know how to use the I’m not sure if it’s really the control chain. When I turn on my car in the morning, there’s no rattle or sound like that.
