Hello, Today the question came up in me: “How the hell do I change the fog lamp?” With my V70, year 2014, they are installed in the tailgate. However, there is no maintenance flap or similar. According to the boardbook, the lights are really there. (I knew before.) On the subject of change, however, not a word. Probably I have to dismantle the complete lights. How does this work? Does anyone have advice? Only bolts do not seem enough. Thank you.

Loss of value Short registration Winter vehicle
Hello, does someone know about how a purchase price behaves if you only allow a car for a short time? For example, as a vehicle for bridging due to ordered new car, as a winter car or because it turns out that so much has to be done about the cheap vehicle, which you don’t want to invest anymore…. I’m not sure if a short registration of a car over 10 years old then presses the selling price and you suffer an extreme loss.

Buying advice EOS
I’d like to get rid of a few questions. I’m trying to keep myself short 😉 I happened to be at my VW dealer yesterday and I saw the Eos there. I have to admit that it’s a great car (apart from the small trunk for me). Since I’ve been thinking about playing an Eos for a while I’ve of course informed myself here in the forum. Actually, I’m more the Audi trailer and have speculated on a TTC. It’s always the case that all negative assessments always meet in a forum. If you’ve read through everything, you’ll get lost in the desire for a car (roof problems, seals, creaks, flaps etc….) I’d like to know what the general mood is about the car. So quality of the car interior, if you would buy the car again, suitability for everyday use, roof quality… I have to admit, The EOS is not exactly a “deal” and I really want to spend as little time in the workshop as necessary 😉 Ohso, I have considered the edition 2009, 1.4 TSI. That happened yesterday at the dealer’s. PS. If I missed something in the search function, then I would be very happy about a reference.

Loss of power
Hello, yesterday I allowed my V70 (99er T5, 190 tkm) times service. So oil change + filter and new spark plugs. When I was finished, after I started the engine, the engine control light… So I read out the error codes with the OBD2 : – P0445 Verdunst.-Emiss. Kontr.syst. Rinse-Contr.vent. Circuit Short circuit – P0245 Turbocharger Exhaust valve A too low – P0031 Lambdasonden Heating Control circuit low (Bank 1 Sensor 1) – P0037 Lambdasonden Heating Ko Ntroll circuit low (Bank 1 Sensor 2) After a test drive, I also noticed a power loss, especially in the area where the turbo would have to press. Otherwise, the engine sounds normal and runs nicely round, so that I can actually exclude a problem by the spark plug or oil change. Unfortunately, I can not make a connection between all the errors, and certainly not why they occur now after the service… For me it seems s o as if somewhere charging pressure is lost and therefore the signals at the Lambda are not right, but well, these are daring assumptions… Maybe someone can help me…

EOS usually leaks all the time??
Hello dear EOS community, my wife and I are thinking about whether we will get an EOS next year. However, I have already heard and read from an acquaintance (who does not drive an EOS himself) and here in the forum again and again that the EOS should be leaking. Is that really so? My wife is currently driving a Peugeot 206CC, since we never had problems with water in the roof area. Only when washing with the high pressure cleaner could some water in the area roof edge/front panel frame/be However, it was always only a running nose and only left. If it remains in this ramen also with the EOS, this is o. k. (although you should be used to a different quality from VW). Ober you really need a Lenzpump after a thunderstorm in the EOS?

Car doesn’t start too cold?
Hello together, and again a problem. Wanted to start my car this morning but unfortunately without success. The engine turned well through but it did not jump on. The pre-glow control light lit about 10 seconds before it went out. After several trying also the battery made so that I tried it with start aid over the car of my wife further. After about 6 seconds start appeared on the display “Pre-glow system not available” Is there the Voglow system defect or can it be d or is the battery too weak, do you have a recommendation for a reliable battery? Driving profile fits (mainly short distances 50-70km / day), think so 15-18tkm / year.
