  • A new guy’s looking for a six.

Hello, in my long life I only had to deal with BMW twice. In the 60s I had two 501 baroque angels and at the end of the 80s a Z 1. But now I look more and more often after an E 63. I like very well. But my (free) workshop tries to slow me down, not to say to prevent it. She says that with the extensive electronic the problems are pre-programmed and I will only be dependent on BMW. But I can’t do that at the moment. I would definitely buy a vehicle under 150,000 km, if possible even around 100,000 km. What can I expect in the next few years if I drive about 7,000 km a year? Thanks Karl

  • 650i Acquisition and questions…

Hello together, Since I’m a complete newcomer in the BMW range and I didn’t really have much to do with BMW before, except for a 500km drive in the 530d GT. I have a few questions now because I actually come from the VAG range I’m looking for a 650i xdrive for my father-in-law and I’ve looked at the first one today. First of all I have to say that I find the engine of the force and the force unfolding as well as the vehicle of the transmission and also the chassis very impressive… However, I have to say that I find the sound of a 4.4 litre V8 quite modest even in the Sport+ setting. The vehicle I drove today was one without an M-package. Tomorrow I look at one with an M-package… Since I have read a couple times that with an M-package a Klappennauspuff should be installed, but I found nothing in the configurator – is that right? How are your experiences with the Xdrive compared to the Quattro of Audi? Since the vehicle is to be registered in Austria the all-wheel drive is of course not quite insignificant… Would I look forward to some helpful information maybe also some information on what I have to pay attention to during the visits, whereby with vehicles that are one to two years old and have run under 30,000km actually should not be too much defective ??

  • FSE Bluetooth problems with Antara

Hello guys, my super OPEL dealer has changed the controller of the Bluetooth FSE in my Antara today and see here: My Sony E K610i now radios without problems, also my rather large phone book is transmitted to the display from the Antara and the horny voice dial radios without problems. Just as info for all who should also have Bluetooth problems.

  • Today’s list of defects – DISS opens?

Hello dear bestatester Hab made my Leon ST FR into the workshop again today. On the order list (I would call it fault list) is opened at position 3 DISS. What does that mean exactly? But that Leon is not 3 months old, he has already seen a contract workshop more often than my old Kia Ceed Gt. In fact, I am a bit disappointed by seat.

  • Permanent load on the motorway

Hey together, I bought a Seat Leon 5F ST FR (FL) with the 184 hp diesel and DSG. My question is now what a healthy permanent load on the highway is without too much effort and to destroy it. Could I drive for example with 180km/h without problems 700km far ?

  • Rust!!

Hello, my father-in-law has the following problem with his Mondeo Bj. 2001: both front doors show rust on the lower edges. Question: 1. Is this a model-specific problem? 2. What about the warranty of Ford?? Otherwise a perfect car with which he is very satisfied. I thank you already in advance for any answers.

  • Where best to measure Fhz?

Hello, can someone tell me where I can have my Mondeo measured well and cost-effectively and with a calm conscience? I asked at a Ford workshop, but they want more than 90 euros for it. Fhz pulls to the right and steering wheel is wrong. Thank you. Ralf

  • Rim repair – costs?

Meal! As it should be for a new vehicle, I “marked” a summer rim (BMW – around 400,- EUR) after 2 months, in which I have in parallel a high kerb of gaaaananz easily touch 1.) Why has the rim guard not “protected”? (255/45 on 9×18) 2.) With self-grinding and brushing over it is not done here, what does the professional (and at what price) do? Merci

  • Stupid to offending answers, shut up

Servus together, it’s probably already noticed that ‘n crowd people have retreated here. I haven’t seen much of my friends in a long time. New people, or new topics are often literally moped up. My credo, as an expert, has always been: There are no stupid questions, only stupid answers. And stupid answers give a lot, as previously feared by me the forum seems to crap off. You click on it again and again, and it is always a disappointment. b’ no longer want to be a part of this Upfuck, and delete my account. Bye Bey KW

  • Rolling noise Hankook Kinergy Eco K425 205/55R16 91T

Hello forum community, After I started in February to take care of new summer tyres for my Golf 6 1.4 TSI and after a long time to browse the internet, I decided between Hankook, Dunlop Sport Blue Response and Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance, finally also because of the price for the above mentioned Hankook. My route I drive every weekend: 50% country road, 50% BAB, 2 people, little luggage, 2.4 bar air pressure on VA and HA The tyres have In contrast to my winter tyres (Dunlop Winter Response 2 in 195/65R15) I have the feeling that the Hankook are very loud. No matter what road surface, no matter what speed, they are almost always unpleasantly loud. Do you have any solution or similar problems with the tyres? Is it perhaps also the wrong tyre pressure? I thank you already in advance for your help! Greetings, Felix
