  • Search 50 pipe for protection

Can anyone tell me if there are pipelines that are free for Ex Protected Areas? I want to build a dust extraction and in that area, unfortunately, the Ex Protection is mandatory.

  • Which winter tire size for Fabia 5j should I take?

As can be seen in the title, I am faced with the big question, which size should I treat the Fabia in winter? We have the car since April and when I buy it I did not manage to pull off another set of winter bikes from the dealer. Well, the summer is slowly coming to an end and I am looking for suitable tyres for the little one. According to COC papers he is allowed to drive 165/70R14 5×14 ET35 185/60R14 6×14 ET37 195/55R15 6×15 ET43 205/45R16 6.5×16 ET43. In summer he stands on de 195. W 165, 185 or yet 195? 205 is out of the question! Have you ever looked for complete wheels in the net, and the price between the wheels is about 15-20€ per bike. What is better in winter? Same size or rather smaller? And can you recommend a tyre? Have lost a little of the overview with all the tests and offers. Well, if it should be important, the car is moved almost only in the city, and except for a few days with snow, our winter is rather a cold one. ter, wet, long autumn. Stop typical Baltic winter. Thank you for your tips, the_Nordmann

  • Decision help: Nokian, Pirelli, Firestone, or Semperit?

Hi! Please use a short decision support for my new winter tires. 60/40 motorway – city. 225/45 R17. Weather phased full snow, dry, muddy – actually everything through. I limited the selection for budget & research reasons to: – Nokian WR D3 (the successor should probably be worse) – the new Semperit Speed-Grip 3 (except for the new AMS comparison so far no great experience values/tests. :/) – Firestone Winterhawk 3 (I already had, I found from Sic Is a layman at that time quite good, especially in relation to the price) – Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 (There the opinions go quite far apart) So. I am a little unsure. The Nokian seems to be a good all-rounder (especially dry very good), wear-wise however stupid. The SG 3 as said too new, one would probably have to orient oneself to the predecessor. Whether this is better than the others? No idea. The Winterhawk makes a solid impression without blatant weaknesses. And the Pirelli sounds for a “premium tire” already very tempting, especially at 90€/tires. There the opinion differ only very far: contradictory results, sometimes far up, sometimes only lower middle field. Price-like competition (Yokohama, Hancook, Fulda, Glue, etc.) I have excluded on account of serious defects. Could you say something about this? LG

  • Ordinary pressure gauge to check tyre pressure

Hi, I’m looking for a good hand gauge (slim, analog) to quickly check the tyre pressure on the car. So far I only have such a cheap plastic part, which I have got somewhere. This works in itself, but you have to take care of it with the measurement. I was happy to buy something neat from a good manufacturer. Can someone recommend something? Best also with drain valve Then I also look for attachments for valves. the valve, the “claw” is fixed and that’s not always enough to keep it tight. You still have to hold it yourself. Are there also attachments that you screw briefly onto the valve, so you don’t always have to hold on to it with your hand? If so, what’s the name of this? It’s best to be modular. My compressor has a pressure gauge, but I always have to drag the compressor to the car. Would be cool if I could still put a hose on it, with a proper gun + a man often the attachments / hoses are also inseparably connected to the air pressure gun :-\ mfg

  • Who was it?

We’re talking about a “dull in the car park” yesterday in connection with an incident in Bremen-Nord. A 27-year-old driver had driven on Hermann-Fortmann-Straße at a distance of less than 50 kilometres per hour. A subsequent 53-year-old had felt “braked in his push forward”. He drove up closely, he overtook it. He had the feeling that the 27-year-old was moving a little to the left. The police spokesman laconically said, “They offered to beat each other by mutual agreement.” The 27-year-old drove into a parking garage, the older followed him. On the second parking deck, the elder pulled a three-part baton out of his jacket and “knocked on his opposite.” The police continued: “The younger man could ward off the beatings, shine with his own baton and also score points with pepper spray.” Both men “were given a “over the counterlight” and discussed each other. he teaches the dangerousness of her accessories. And: “The elderly awaits criminal proceedings.”

  • By hunters and hunted – the ‘Enterprise effect’

First of all I would like to say that I do not really hope for explanation for the following problem and also do not expect outing of a road user (in the style of, yes I let myself hunt again and again…) – but maybe there is an interesting discussion… Very often the following situation arises on the highway: I drive on a slower driving car (therefore I call it Enterprise effect, because I did not materialise behind this car or am there hi n was beamed, but appeared behind this road user because I drive faster…) and instead of the next opportunity to switch to the right lane is first accelerated (say from 140 to 160…) and the left lane is still blocked… …I am still behind and want to overtake – the front man gives more gas (e.g. 190 or even 200km/h) and his ride becomes noticeably more restless (probably the hands on the steering wheel are sweaty, because it drives this speed very rarely…) – everything on the left, although there is room on the right… In these situations I often try to defuse the situation by using the right lane, but of course it is still there! At some point the left lane is released, and often when changing to the right not only speed is taken back, but even braked. The road user now drives his 140-160km/h and thus 40-60km/h slower than in the situation in d he wanted to overtake him – and probably also feels more comfortable than in the self-inflicted stress situation! There are almost always men (young and old), rather middle-class cars than small or luxury cars and more frequent Mercedes, Audi, VW and Volvo drivers than Ford and Opel and other BMW drivers. I would be interested to know why people prefer to go hunting than to make room… It’s not about rushing through here, by the way, because I know that there is no reason to think about it. s last car of a snake that I approach is not the slowest – but rather situations in which the gaps on the right would comfortably pass to let go…

  • Find reasonable tools or abrasives to remove the underbody protection

Hello, I drive a Golf 3 and these rusts very much like. I am now looking for a reasonable tool (likely also compressed air operated) to remove the maraudous underbody protection in the endangered places. So far I have always used a flex with braid brush. But this is first too hard for me to last, secondly you don’t get anywhere and thirdly this method is not just sheet-protecting Hatz since someone experience with? So as I said: Per compressed air would be optimal, because We have 2 compressors here and a nice compressed air network with a total of 3 tanks. So the supply should not be a problem.

  • Buying advice Tips for Troll or 9-5 in general

2002er 2,3 Troll with 280 hp, automatic, 100 tkm: Limo, where are the weak points and/or what exactly must be taken into account when inspecting? Torque? vMax? Consumption with a controlled driving mode, approx. 85% motorway speed-limited with cruise control and the rest most urban traffic? Reliability? How are the seats (i.e. frequent drivers)? Or is there perhaps a more harmonious version 9-5 with automatic than the one with 280 hp (but should vmax of 230 km/h be possible)?

  • Winter time, “Sch**sse-aussicht-zeit” but fast eater

Würg, I had Dunlop winter tires put on the original AUDI 16″ aluminiums today. I took off the track plates so that you wouldn’t corrode in winter. Boah, looks the shit If they were steel rims, then you would at least see the winter tires on them, but it looks like it started and didn’t finish. Red brakes, sports suspension, iron man, other grill, but for rims and track plates it wasn’t enough….I could cry if I looked at that….! Ho It will soon be summer again The only consolation is that the car with the 205s goes animally to the point. Now it has again from 2,000 rpm neat booms as before and turns much lighter high. And without track plates the driving behavior is much more direct on the front axle. But for that the tires squeak in the first and second gear, because they are totally overwhelmed with the performance How do you feel in winter with lowering and thin cutting discs????
