  • Hat rack with which device to enlarge holes?

Hello people, I bought for only 40€ a few Kenwood KFC-2089ie with 20cm diameter today in the shop, had already boxes in the back, believe 12cm. Of course, they do not fit in the old holes, I noticed that you can not remove the hat rack at all and have laid me over there and started with a drill and a grinding attachment (from the material as well as to the knife grinding) to make the holes bigger, but it took a long time since the metal is very hard, I Don’t like the same procedure. Does someone have an idea of how to make it faster, or a trick? Don’t have soo much tool to choose from, and with a jigsaw you don’t think there’s a round circle in it. I’ll try it with a rounded arrow lg

  • Audi 100 C4 S4 Avant 20V Turbo pushes air from turbo into the engine compartment

Hello together! Have written a post here some time ago, but do not find it again, therefore here again. I hope that someone can help me here! My S4 with AAN machine does the following: It starts flawlessly and turns in the stand also impeccable high. As soon as I put it under load and wants to speed it up, it sounds as if it blows the air from the turbocharger into the engine room. No hissing, but a rather blazing sound from the front right. The vehicle has an automatic transmission. Can therefore not speed it up ,there is nothing ….. nothing at all. However, if I move the accelerator very little , it accelerates (although slow but it drives ) I have exchanged after reading the computer : Lambda probe, all pressure fumes and pop-off valve . I immediately replaced the pop-off with a piston pop-off valve . Now I wonder where the air goes out or what else could be ….. I hope , me can here someone help , the workshop really doesn’t know any more , anyway until now and the car is now for more than three weeks time again in the workshop . I thank you for your help in advance !!! Greeting Duke

  • Honda Hornet 600 Electrics

Hello, I have a problem with my Honda Hornet 600 from 98′. As soon as I turn on light during the ride, turn on the flasher or drop the speed too low the whole power grid collapses. Means it hardly takes on gas, Tacho plays crazy and it goes out. The alternator brings it so far in the stand fair the appropriate voltages. When I switch on the light in the stand immediately 1V goes away at voltage and does not come back. As far as the situation is concerned. someone an idea what it might be about?? My suspicion is that there is a short circuit or mass circuit that consumes so much power. A broken switch or plug would otherwise also be the guess. Is such a problem known and knows someone on which components it might be? Many greetings, Elias

  • Honda Rebel 125 – Flasher relay

Servus. Have all 4 turn signals at the Honda rebel 125 converted to LED (back 3 in 1) now all 4 turn signals always shine no matter what I press. Now a question makes sense to clean up pre-resistance or reaches a LED relay? And still a question is the round with the 2 pins the relay? Pin L and X. I would be happy about an answer

  • Honda Dax re-ignitions/ignitions?

Hello together, I have had problems with my Dax since the last longer exit. After a longer full-speed drive she started to give off after ignitions. So not the typical patching but really even after ignitions during the descent. Then I drove a little leisurely further and then took a short break, then it disappeared again. Two days later on the next trip it came back when it was really warm. Meanwhile it is in the Even if it is cold. (see video)https://youtube.com/shorts/dmDDItkd-38?feature=share Short to the vehicle. Honda Dax ST50G Built 1977 6V 85cc cylinder, cylinder head with 20/23 valves, 20 intake nozzles, 20 Walbro carburetor, reinforced oil pump, NHRC exhaust, K&N air filter, SS50 Polrad Bin with the setup so already 7000km without problems on the road. Until now that started with the re-ignition. Just don’t know any more. Performance is still there. Jumps on and so on. But that’s enough. The valves are also heard irregularly “tack up” already so many attempts. -from c7HSA to C8HSA candle cylinder head removed, valves regrinded and crushing edge broken, everything cleaned and resealed (after that it was gone for 1min) -new exhaust seal -102Oktan fuel valve play increased to 0.08mm The following parts are basically new to the Dax: -new candle plug -new ignition coil -new cable tree -new battery -new gleichrich ter -new interrupter -new capacitor -new alternator I hope you can help me. Thank you.

  • NC 700 s VS. CBR 500 r

Aloha Honda experts, I’m new here and would like to buy a motorcycle for my newly purchased A2 driver’s license for the 18th time. It would be my first motorcycle. I get the motorcycle mainly for fun, I want to cruise around a lot and often go to a lake or something. Of course I want to go to school or to other “obligatory” matters. I live in the city and now ask myself which motorcycle of the two is better. Honda CBR 5 00 r pros: – Design – Sporty – Fun Factor Honda NC 700 s pros: – Luggage compartment – Price? – Comfort? I’d like to hear your opinions on these two motorcycles. I don’t know yet so well and I just can’t decide. Of course, I’m going to test both of them anyway, but it would be nice to hear a few opinions from you! Happy Christmas Day!

  • Honda Hornet SC48 stinks of exhaust gases

Hello, I drive a Honda Hornet 900 SC48, 2006 with approx. 80.000km, everything except the mirrors, rear light and brake lines is original. I bought it in 2017 with approx. 60.000km. What I have always noticed about the machine, that it smells quite like exhaust gases, or my clothes. It smells not directly of petrol or oil, but simply very penetrant (spicy), as one knows it from very old vehicles. Since I now want to use it for commuting, I wanted to ask w My clothes smell really bad, so my colleagues have already addressed me to it. Since they are well stocked, valves have been set at just under 65,000km and they do not eat oil (not noticeable), I assume that it has to be something other than the engine per se. It still smells like when buying after just under 20,000km, whether warm or cold. I don’t think it’s the environment, because if I use the MT07 v On my colleague’s way, my clothes don’t smell like exhaust gases, rather about the environment, if at all. Could it be on the exhaust? Or do I need a new cat? So far it has always been dismissed as if it were normal when a motorcycle stinks… is also part of it… Yes and no. I still admit it with really old machines with carburetor. But I think the hornet is too “new” for it to smell so extremely of exhaust gases. What do you think? Thank you already Let’s do it in advance.

  • Lithium battery for a VTR BJ 97?

Hello, I am proud owner of a SC36, BJ ’97. Since I come to drive only occasionally, my GelBattery makes quite often off the field, or. At a charging level of about 50% the good ones no longer jumps. I think to install a LithiumBattery, however, is at 2-3000 U/min a charging current of in places over 15V. That would grill the LiBattery Would that fix a new (favorable) voltage regulator? Or are there batteries that can do that? Thank you for your help!

  • New car, what diesel?

Good day, I will be selling my Ford Fiesta JH1/JD3 in the near future, because it consumes too much fuel (since the 15 inches mature almost exactly 8.2l on 100km) and I think I get cheaper with a diesel. (I drive about 20,000km a year). First of all I have to say that the wallet is not quite so loose with me. My budget is 250€ – 3000€ and I don’t care if it has a lot of space or not. It doesn’t have to be very fast either, nu With my Ford Fiesta 1.3l 60hp this is unfortunately always an agony, as many people can certainly think. I drive only 3km to work every day and for my purchases maybe 2km, meaning short distance. If I visit my girlfriend, however, it is 25km per trip. I speak both city and cross-country distances. I am currently looking at the Volvo V40 BJ 2000-2004 1.9D. What do you stop from the model? W What should I pay maximum? I am personally open to everything as long as it is a 4/5 door. Greetings

  • Combi up to 7,000 €

Hello, my little Peugeot 106 will have to be replaced soon, because it has set a lot of rust on supporting parts. After almost 18 years it probably has enough. Since the permanent backbench folds over (min. 1 x a week) something bigger should happen. Here the basic data: – Pain limit is 7,000 €. – BJ. max 2007, would like to drive again 4-5 years. – Drive a total of 70 km to work + private. So will be between 20 and 25,000 km a year. – Will be worth it there already, my little Peugeot 106 has to be replaced soon. a diesel? – Power 100 hp should be in it already. – Likes to be under 100,000 km or is that measured with this budget/year of construction? I looked around and looked at a few things, with the following hits in the search. – Ford Focus Tournament Style (diesel and gasoline) – Renault Megane III Grandtour – Alfa Romeo 159 1.9 JTDM I like the Alfa best. Why am I looking for the following models in vain? Wrong region and simply bad luck? – Golf Variant – Skoda Octavia Is it a good alternative to buy an Audi A4 or 3 Series BMW with more kilometers and a little older for the money? Are there other good models that you can recommend? Hope you can give me a few tips. Greeting Michi
