  • Let the tires vulcanize after driving at 0.8 bar for a short time?

    Hello, Michelin Alpin A4 195/65 R15 91T with 7 mm profile (two winters). A few weeks ago the ESP spoke several times on almost dry road. It turned out that a tire had only 0.8 bar. I filled it up, after each about 2 – 3 weeks it was down again to about 1.5 bar. I removed it now and found in the water bath in the tread in a profile groove a nail (with turned off head) which I had missed before. After pulling the nail The tyre was empty within about 1 hour. After used A4 rarely individually and if yet, with only 4 – 5 mm profile are offered: worth possibly Vulcanizing? At the 0.8 bar the tyre was more bleak on the sides when looking closely, but it was by no means so that I would have driven on the rim. From the first occurrence of the ESP problems until filling up I drove a maximum of 60 km in city traffic and country road up to 80 km/h, with a maximum of 10 km at a time. Still tires have been washed through too much?

  • oil in water problem

    hello people have the typical oil in the water problem in the C20XE. today I have broken down the head and it was clearly not due to the head seal. so there must be a hair crack. since unfortunately I do not have to see it to someone who can do this. can you recommend me someone who can do this?? best from Austria. or also from Germany I have to send the head. before I forget is the 700 head mfg

    audi 80 b4 abk 116ps^^ just before so first I found out that I have a humming from the left front against the engine room(speed dependent) sometimes louder and quieter not depending on speed!!! what could that be? 2.im stood if I run the engine clapper or clacks it out of the cylinder head hydros? also while the drive is back and forth but then louder depending on speed 3. the speedometer does not go where could this lie? 4. he consumes my opinion after extremely vi el oil about 1 l at 600-800 km GROWS GLOCKSI

  • Calibra battery does not charge

    My buddy has a Calibra with the 8V engine in it bj. 92 and he ran 114tkm. After that we changed the V-belt and he wanted to push the bolt in the bottom of it mine he that it has lightly sparked (yes next time we make the battery off). Since the charge no longer the battery. We have already another used Lima built in and with it is the same problem. Tomorrow we will try another one again. Pathogen power gets him. The control lamp lights up a I haven’t tested them yet. I hope you can help me, but maybe we’re just bad luck and both are screwed.

    Hello, I found out today (late, but still), that with my current winter tyre set (205/55 R16 91H) three tyres come from Slovakia and one from Romania. I came up with this because I look at the things more closely as usual when changing tyres, and I noticed that three still have 6.5-7mm profile, one only 5mm. All four were bought at the same time in November 2013 at the dealer. The set has about 30,000km down. The with the 5mm is the Romanian tire. Fr age: Is the problem with the different tires at Conti or with my tyre dealer? I conclude from this that Conti has a problem with the quality of its Eastern European plants. Did Conti write that they should take a stand on the problem. What does your tyre experts think about it? Achja: Auto is a purely long-haul Audi A6 from 2003, 180hp diesel front scratcher.

  • Sprinter, power loss – problem throttle valve

    Hello, we have the problem with our Sprinter that there is an irregular and not reproducible loss of power, whereby the engine control light goes on. Only by repeatedly restarting the engine, the vehicle can be driven rationally again. The car was already several times in the Mercedes specialist workshop, where the error memory was read out (error throttle flap), and then several times! throttle flap, a sensor and the engine control unit were replaced. Cars don’t know, but suspect that there could be a cable break. A new wire harness would probably not be economical anymore, so I want to measure the cables. Can someone help me out with a schematic, or tell me which plug with pin assignment (motor control unit?) the throttle valve is connected to?

I’ve been driving the car for 10 years now: Astra GSI 16V Bauj.1993 C20XE Motonik 2.8 KM:Stand 233000KM were renewed: Air mass meter, Lamda probe, Thermostat, Termofühler both, cranks I have the impression that the engine is running too fat. Where is the idle control valve for the engine? The design is different than with the Ecotech engine. Can you clean it? Unfortunately, I did not find anything suitable with the search function.   • Water temperature indicator

    Hello, my temperature indicator is always about 2mm above the blue area. Where does it stand with you? 2,0l NE motor. I think that’s way too low and maybe the thermostat that opens the big cooling circuit is always open. Drive the Calibra only recently and don’t know it any different from it. Michael
