Evening, I have to turn to the Volvo experts here! 🙂 My colleague thinks he can make 230km/h with his 1.8 V40 Kombi according to Tacho. These are in reality 215km/h at most, right? I couldn’t imagine that, why should one then buy another car which has 200 hp and then only 235km/h runs! 😉

Virago XV 535 after removal of throttle still no power
Good day, so slowly I despair at my Virago. It starts and runs perfectly in the stand. However, it usually reaches only 100kmh and has no power at a certain speed. Yesterday, during a test drive, she drove but suddenly much faster (170kmh) and also had full power with relatively many misignitions occurred while taking away the gas. When I wanted to test another lap, she ran again only 100. Before these two tests, I had the membranes a built and tested in the light, whereby I had forgotten one of the large springs when assembling (which are the responsible ones?). When I had then installed the spring again it ran also once a little faster but this was only of short duration. Now it runs unchanged 100 and does not come to the maximum speed in coupled condition (under load). The spark plugs are new the ignition system was measured recently and the air filter is apparently only a tube under the chrome lid rec hts. Since I don’t know if I should take the whole carburetor apart now or it’s just a problem of attitude I thought, I’ll ask here. I wanted to go to a workshop, but all around there are no dates available until May 10th. Maybe someone from you near Kiel or Eckernförde who could help me? Could also drive some more routes.

Hello again, I tried to implement the information from yesterday. I had the carburettor down! Due to the K+N air filter I cleaned the intake noise damper. That was full of gasoline. Where this came from is creepy to me! The strange thing is that the machine with pulled choke gas accepts. Consequently I read the information from yesterday again and tried to adjust the idle mixing adjuster. In the manual there is something of 2 revolutions. There is of course per gas. r such a adjuster. Unfortunately, I did not get the information anywhere, whether I have to turn the screw further in or further out in order to get a fatter mixture. I think that the ratio of air to petrol does not match! If you can help me, then blow me with information too. You can never get enough and maybe another also needs corresponding information.

Known problems Berlingo III 130 blue HDI 131 hp diesel?
Hello, I am interested in PSA high-roof combis as a used car from 2018/2019. Zb. Berlingo III Are there known problems with the 130 blue HDI engine? Are the engines reasonably robust? What about the control chain or adblue system or soot particle ficter, big problems? Or should one no longer buy diesel? Other engine rather recommended e.g. petrol (Puretech problem I know, I would not buy.)

Purchase decision HD Road King bj 2008
Good morning, I’m new in the motorcycle world, but I’m completely convinced by HD and would like to buy a tourer, because I would like to do tours in and around Europe in the near future. Only my thought is that as a complete newcomer I wanted to buy a used HD and also not necessarily the newest one, if something happens or the box should fall down it doesn’t hurt as much as with a new one. Now I’m just looking and interested very much for a road king and would also consider private offers since the prices are of course again more attractive than those of the dealer. Only I have no clue what you should pay attention to, though the offers mostlyvaöle TÜV and service have but enough to say that they are worth buying ?! I hope to find here answer to save me a several 100 km drive and drive with empty hands back home or maybe someone would also have interested me at the ka uf to help. Hello, maybe I need a new one in the middle of the upcoming summer tyre season – and I’ll take a look around. Needed tyre size 185/60 R15 84T – therefore 84H, 88T and 88H would also be possible without any problems. Dunlop Sport BluResponse (in 84H) – 67 dB, fuel efficiency “B”, rain effect “A” – 80 € net/piece Nokian eLine (in 88T XL) – 71 dB, fuel efficiency “A”, rain effect “A” – 80 € net/piece Both are not at the lower end of the price scale, but rather in the upper midfield, abe r I find it very interesting at the moment. The usual (online understandable) test reports attest to them also quite good driving characteristics. So I would like to know your personal opinions (keyword: Popometer & Co.) on these two tires. Or would someone even advise me off? Just now that I have a few days left – I can’t really decide yet. Thanks already

Striking mega-stumps
Hi, I didn’t stand inside yesterday, but I heard it on the radio. At Stuttgart, a truck with vehicle parts must have flipped over. The complete evacuation took 10 hours, which caused a traffic jam of DREISSIG kilometers long. The interviewed police officer said it would have taken so long because you had to load the parts onto another truck –> and at this point I can only shake my head unbelievingly. My first priority should be in such a case. (after salvage of the injuries as well as accident recording) be the fastest possible evacuation of the accident site, not by reloading but by pushing away the remains in the road ditch, so that the road becomes clear. Do not want to know what virtual VWL damage there was yesterday. I once saw a report from Holland on AMS TV a long time ago, where this is probably done for a long time. First Prio –> Clear road –> Traffic should flow. Wanted to hear your opinions on this ren. Greetings zetterick

Wagon “pulls” out of track (definition, risk balance, experience?)
Hi together, after I have now found a slight track deviation in two vehicles and was taught every time in the workshop: 1. Streets are not flat. Due to their design they have to drain off e.g. rain and therefore ALWAYS have slight inclinations. Also track grooves or other factors play in here. The “plane” road, which one would need to determine during the journey, is in practice only extremely rare (I just don’t think of an example). 2. After a he of course a mistake can be made, but it is minimized by modern measuring methods a.) and when it happens, b.) during the test drive of the respective monadreise this can be determined. Question: My car (and also the other one) only easily pull out of the track. How can I define (for me privately, in practice) whether the track has to be adjusted after all – AND: can I do that at all? My car pulls us Only if I don’t touch the steering wheel he pulls off the road – but only on a longer track (estimated at more than 100m). What to accept as a driver (yet) – not to be regarded as a pimply, unpleasant, annoying customer in his workshop and to invest unnecessary money in lane settings. Good ride!
