  • Help my Saab spins !!!!

    Hello dear Saab friends… I bought a Saab 900, 2,0l, year 91 a few days ago. On the way home I noticed first flaws. The “Check engine” lamp lighted up partly flickering and partly constantly. Every now and then no more power came as if it “swallowed” itself. First aid measure of me: clutch kicked, full throttle and then went again. But now he worries me after all.   • Saab 900i 16V Built 90 Ordinary transmission oil loss

    Hello people, does someone have experience with gasket change on the Saab 900 gearbox or with oil loss? Mine definitely loses too much gear oil or is it actually motor oil. Does it bring something that motor oil replaces gear oil, since the viscosity of gear oil is worse, so thicker than with 10 or 15-W40 moetor oil – do I think? can you do something yourself or a friend’s workshop or do you need special tools that only have a SAAB workshop? I can’t tell you exactly where it comes from but also say that I only have the Saab for 3 weeks.

    Hello, yesterday I stayed on the way to work with my 91er 900er convertible. I uncoupled at the highway exit and a little later the engine went off and did not let itself start again. I would have 5000 eur at my disposal and now I wonder if it is worth looking for a convertible at all. The more affordable alternative would be a turbo coupe, as far as I really appreciate it. What do you think about it? Furthermore, I would like to know how much one should plan for maintenance according to experience if one finds a car without repair jam. No one can tell you whether the turbo will fly around the ears next week or not – but you will be able to make a certain assessment. I read different things about spare parts prices here in the forum. I would like the car to be much more modern, new, but it would also have to be financed by me. I hope you can help me a little bit. I always wanted to have such a dare and I just like everything about it. the interior, the instrument lighting, the shape of the carousel… but pretty much everyone in my area find the dare ugly… is it you as saabfans also so that the meissen find the dare rather unbeautiful? saab is known to be something for individualists… would interest me what you have done for experiences…

  • Question to all 2.0 FSI drivers

    Hy, play with the idea of getting an A3 Sportback ambition with Xenon + S-Line chassis. Since I’m driving only short distances of about 10km I’m off the diesel at the moment (engine is not really warm by these short distances + 90% will be blown over the turbo!) and play with the idea of getting a 2.0 FSI. A 2.0TFSI is an alternative, but in today’s time too uneconomical (higher purchase price, consumption, insurance and value added tax) ust)! What are your impressions of this engine, would you choose it again? Is the performance development for a sporty driving mode OK? Do you drive the FSI with Super or SuperPlus??? What average usages do you get with sporty driving mode (short distances + long distances)? For your feedbacks best thanks in advance!!!

    And that , me nn A3 Ambition 2.0 TDI Sportback DSG bought in dolphin gray . Yes that was already no easy decision , at a price of approx. 29000 € (reals the madness times honestly and that despite factory members price :-)). with a few nice extras like Xenon , Conzert with Bose , leather Alcantara with seat heating , cd changer , rims in 5 spokes star design , Multifunktins spot steering wheel , air conditioning , light and rain sensor , interior light package , middle arm lehene and a few insignificant For a long time I thought about it because of the Navi , but finally, because of the imens high price, and the benefit that I would have from it ( am not an insurance agent or so , so not constantly unknown tours drive) decided against it. Although the optics of the Navi 1A is and MP3 I will miss very much “sniff”. P.S. Oh yes I wanted to start so about 1 year ago , when I saw the optics inside and outside and short time later the A3 I knew that there was no Golf can be :-).     Hello all, I have an Audi A3 8P 2.0 TDI. It has now 23000km on it and I have now already filled in the 17000km in which I have the car 8 liters 0W-30 longlife oil. Is the oil consumption normal??
