  • How to expand roof sky in the A3 Sportback ?

Hello ! New Year’s Eve a rocket has fallen on my Sportback roof and has caused a small bump. Would like to have this fix now and wants to dismantle the roof sky before the workshop visit, since it then takes less working time in. Can someone tell me how it is fixed and with which tool I can remove it best ? Thanks for you answers already in advance ! Greeting KOTTIC

  • Xenons too high now?

Hi guys, I know there have been many threads about xenon setting on the A3, but I have a general question about it now. Was today with the friendly to put my higher, and now it’s really awesome for ME, the xenons shine “kilometres far” (it looks like that at least) because they are now higher than before. I just drove 30km and was greeted 2 times with light hoop. I mean, they’re really standing up now, they’re already getting normal signs on the road. And lit from a distance by me. Now to my question. Can I leave them like this, or do I have to put them down to the friendly again? I mean it’s great for me, I’ve never seen better, but it’s turned on 2 cars. What if the police stops me? Question to all Xenon drivers: How often are you greeted with light horn because your headlights blind the others? To explain how my xenon’s stand now: In the past it was like this when I was in a tunnel. n am, if you see the light on the tunnel walls on the left and right, then it went from the vehicle on down the further the light shines, now it goes left horizontally forward and left even a little upwards (I hope that was explained intelligibly *g*)… Many greetings

  • IVECO 49-12, built in 1994, what do I have to pay attention to when buying

Hello IVECO specialists and campers, have found in my search a WOMO with the following characteristics: IVECO/FIAT I The chassis no. starts with ZCFC498 1st hand, KM stand < 60,000 KM. Since 2014, after the TÜV approval, the WOMO has been deregistered Alcoves, rear drive/twin tyres, built in 1994, AHK 3.0 to engine: 2.5 liters, 85KW at 3,800 U, transmission: 5-speed curb weight: 3.6 To, Zul. Which wear parts, except oil/filters must be changed regularly? What about the suspension? How long does a gel battery last? Where are the typical flaws on the body? the rumors are running that a spare parts supply with regard to body parts becomes difficult. I would be very grateful for answers, also about expected costs with regard to the oil losses complained of by TÜV.

  • Connecting generators to caravans

Hello everyone, I would like to connect a power generator (230V, 8.7 A) to my WW. Is there something important to consider? In the WW itself, to my knowledge, there are no 230V devices, but only 12V devices in it. However, the WW was already connected by the previous owner to the 230V connection. In my opinion, the generator for the few consumers – a few lamps are enough – or? My consideration is this: In the caravan itself 12V devices work, in the awning I want a small install 230V TV, the satellite system is running (allegedly, as not yet unpacked – was there with the WW) to 12 V. Is there a better extension cable from the generator to the awning and there in the 230V connection of the WW? Don’t get me wrong if I ask so much, but I don’t want the electrics in the WW suffers. • TireMoni TM-150 NST tyre pressure control system

There is a new model of a tyre pressure monitoring system. Technical data: Make a very useful impression on me and should cost 129,-€. What do you think about it? What experiences do you have with the older systems of this manufacturer? The system is designed for the monitoring of 4 tyres. I asked the manufacturer whether it can also be operated with 2 or 3 tyres (replacement wheel).

  • 12V switch for absorber refrigerator always burns through

One question: My 12 volt switch for the absorber fridge (a 20 year old electrolux) always burns. I bought a switch for 20A that should be enough. But it doesn’t. Sometimes it’s good for half a year, sometimes 2 months. What can the lying down? Actually it has to be an over-gan resistance to power is not set. In addition, a battery monitor is installed, which interrupts the power supply in cloudy weather (solar on the roof) and prevents it from operating. So it can happen that the current is switched on in the minute. (but of course not from the switch that always burns) Maybe that’s important.

  • Fasten your bike fast?

Hello, maybe you have good tips for mounting bicycles in a camper or transporter. I am mainly concerned with the easy and fast securing. So far I always put the two bicycles on the side wall and close them with belts or rubber harnesses. I would have preferred to have the bikes straight and not leaned against the wall. I also pushed them with the front wheel to the partition and with tension straps on the handlebar ends to the vehicle floor. The rear wheel then lifts off and has to be secured as well. But all this takes too long. I have also thought about building something with a quick lock as is the case with a bicycle mounting stand. How do you secure your bikes in the vehicle?

  • Wheel rims W126 or 560SEC / noise HA

Hey hello, I actually already have a thread looking for Mercedes but no one is trying to do it here. So as I said, I have two questions/problems with which I turn to you and I recently bought a W126 Coupè and there are some “ugly” rims on it and now I have already seen at ebay what is offered there and since I noticed AMG monoblock rims in the following Deminson VA 8.5 x 19 ET46 with 245/35/19 and HA 9.5 x 19 ET46 with 275/30/19 now to my question they go on or not since I actually did not want to change the wheel runs. Can there help me there or rather not???? And now to my second question and that I have an ugly flap at the HA (it is with level) Stabi and anglers as well as shock absorbers I can actually exclude 100% (Schräglenker stop not quite believe but not so that it comes from it) at benz I was told now the container for the level of the right next to I don’t know why or how the rattling is supposed to be inwardly, but don’t know now how it is built up (so if there could be something rattling). Or do you still have a possibility where the HA often knocks out???? Thank you in advance

  • Tyres for caravans

Hello forum, I own an old trailer that is moved twice a year without TÜV at 25Km/h. Now the driver called me and said that there was a hole in a tyre. Now I wonder how I can get it quickly and cheaply. I already had the problem twice in the past. The first time it came out that I could only have a new tyre pulled up at the tyre dealer. That was annoying, of course, considering that the new tyre was broken. eht. The second time I could solve this a bit better and bought 4 winter tires on wheels for a Golf 3 on eBay, which someone only wanted to get rid of. That had then cost only 1€. Now I stand before the problem again, has to get the whole tomorrow and find on eBay just nothing suitable. Now I think about what I could do alternatively and have two ideas: 1. Nen complete bike buy from the car dealer. 2. Nen old tires at the tyre dealer. What do you think about it. thanks for tips and greetings from Hamburg, martin

  • Swimming when tyres are 2/3 down

Hi guys, my dad has the following problem: If his S-Class was built in 2006 (does not know the exact model name 🙂 )the tires to approx. 2/3 have run off, the car shows a clear swimming, that is, it follows almost every track groove and other bumps. If we were not seaworthy, we would become sea ill 🙂 As soon as new tires are on it the problem is fixed. Just it’s stupid to throw away the tires already 3,000 kilometers before the real end n. Has one of you already had experience with this and knows a solution to the problem? Our guess would be other tires, not the Michelin installed by the factory. Or are there completely different suggestions? Would be grateful for everyone, because at the moment he swims again 🙂 Thanks already for many answers! 🙂 Greetings Rellob
