  • Caravan purchase with long WoMo experience

Good evening together, I’d like to buy a caravan. I’ve been camping with my parents since childhood. I’ve been traveling with a 7.5t. Clou Alkoven. Now it’s time to buy something of my own. Since I’d like to leave the size so it’s supposed to be a “small” tandem axle. A previous time should not be built up. An air conditioning would be perfect in summer and an indoor height where I can also go through with a little more than 1.90m. What would be great, we The question is, which caravan is good for it? Cost point 7000-9000 Euro. I was thinking of Fendt or Tabbert. Where I am already at cost, what costs such a woWa in maintenance (insurance, taxes etc.?) Many greetings Husky

  • 900 I: 5th gear behaves strangely

Hello everyone, now for a few months also a 901 CC(MY1988), am so far very satisfied with it. So far I had the phenomenon from time to time that the reverse movement did not want to be put into place properly. With the advice of a forum member, in such cases before to turn into the first or third gear helped only conditionally. Sometimes I had to go into the idle, give a short gas, so that the gears changed and then This phenomenon occurred only about every 10th to 20th time at the parking, so far I accepted it as a small Macke. Now, however, in the last weeks I had three times the following event: During the ride suddenly the 5th gear did not insert itself correctly. If you push the shift stick from the 4th gear forward to the right, you automatically land far to the right, as if you wanted to insert the reverse gear. Besides that you can of course scare well behind a driving vehicle 😉 nothing actually happens. At the last time I found it by gently “stirring around” in the vicinity of the 5th gear. So it can still be inserted if you find the right position with the shift lever very carefully. But the “guide” to the right is then no longer available. The phenomenon then disappears again at the next turning off of the engine. Since the G If there are no other problems, I suspect the cause rather in the ignition lock area at the reverse lock. Does someone have experience and can say more about it? Thank you and many greetings, Nibohr

  • “Check Engine”

Hello, it’s me again… …. at my 900 convertible, EZ 03/90, 126 HP, lights up the check engine light shortly after the start, for about 2-3 minutes, then extinguishes again and the car drives normally. During the luminous display it does not seem to get optimal fuel (pump, plugs are replaced). Does anyone know advice???? Thanks already now, smokeyjosephine

  • “1000 questions about the 900 Turbo”

Hello, I’ve recently been a proud owner of a Saab 900 Turbo Bj 85. But since I know more about Audi, I have to ask myself a little cleverly… Is it normal that the turbo at Vollast will noticeably lower the pressure, and according to the display only goes up to 3/4 to the red area, or is it perhaps wrongly set? The air conditioning system works, just like the heater, not. I would like to expand both, but I’m not sure if it works with the air conditioning system m Is it possible? Come out of the room HH, and would like to have the turbo set at a “Saab-Fachman”! At the cold start it also doesn’t run right or always goes out (stand gas)… Can one of you give me a tip? Mfg Niko

  • Saab 900 Bj 88

Hello Saabgemeinde, I have now seen two well-preserved 900 he and would like to get one of these. It is a 88“Coupe, it is supposed to be a Jubilee. model, unfortunately I could not reach the owner yet but on the photos is leather bust. to recognize. Who knows about this model by chance???? Climate etc.??? The 2nd would be a 93` model (unfortunately 5-tuerig) very well received, both with full service book!! turbomodels 145 hp??? Both vehicles are from Saab employees and still in first possession. So actually a dream, right? I would be grateful for a few tips on what is to be taken care of. The mileage is at 165.000 and 189. ooo km. mfg sa-ko

  • What the DVD Navi should do…

So: a three-quarters jahr with the part and already quite OK and well driven. But I think what an update of the hardware / software would have to bring everything would be the following: – DVD video fitness – DVD MP3 read – address book linked with phone – transfer of the address from telephone book possible – Bluetooth coupling with laptop – routes / routes as log file for the tax office (automatically recorded) – in the A3 more CAR options – software for the PC / compilation of routes, optimization and exercises Rmittlung der Daten per BT – DVB-T Option What else, this list can certainly be added, think of something. AUDI reads with you here, maybe one thinks about it!

  • Scorpio 2.3 the last

Hello together, would like me event. buy a used (logically!) Scoprio (best combination Ghia) from year 96. Where else do you get so much car for so little money or? Now I’m just afraid to fall on my nose. Can you recommend the 2.3-er engine or is the 2.0-er better? How does it look with the fuel pack? Does a high mileage with 1a checkbook don’t matter? I’ve already read that the TDI should not be so durable. Sorry in case someone asks the question the x-th time here. Greetings ToDaKo

  • Swinging on the front axle

Who can help ? On motorway rides over cross-roads at bridges and with track grooves the front axle swings terribly. I then have to slow down up to approx. 80 km/h which returns rest again. I drive 205R16 on original wheels also there are no other changes. The mileage is at 360000 km.

  • Sierra OHC Turbo conversion

Hello , I’m new here I converted my Sierra to turbo and thought that I would have to make public to exchange experiences if necessary. To the car : 85er Sierra 2.0 iS iS stands for sports version with the following characteristics: 3 doors , body as with the Cossie chassis of the XR4 lank wheel of the Cossie falcher black rear spoiler paint 2 colored at my top silver bottom black mileage: ca 450tkm to the engine: 2.0 OHC 85 kW = 115 hp L-Jetronic mileage: ca . 150tkm from ebay 60 euro (first engine I have blown off at 420 tkm) to the turbo: Garrett T3 from Saab 9000 Turbo ; I think, because without internal wastegate and only oil cooling mileage: unknown from ebay 40 euro Status Quo: Turbo is in there with self-welded cracker Charging air cooler at the moment leaks ( from the Mini Cooper S) compaction not yet withdrawn ( I think 9,5:1 ) Lamda probe with indicator for mixture check charging pressure indicator, charge air temperature sensor , turbo oil temperature sensor The thrust starts different early depending on the gear ( Turbohole) 1. gear only at 4000 2. gear at 3000-3500 3. gear at approx 3000 4. gear at 2500 5. gear at approx 2300 Up to a charging pressure of approx. 0.5 bar you can drive well 0.6 usually goes but also leans off the mixture. Since I did not have a Wastegate that means carefully giving gas (I had already about 1.0 bar, ups ) Acceleration has improved little about 8 sec da turbohole in the first gear ( and since ic h only give half to 3/4 gas) I estimate power to min 160 hp up to about 180 or even 200 consumption of course also rose from 10 to 15 liters I drove so now 250 km times see how far I’m still coming 🙂
