Hi together, I have a G500 (2009), which for some time only reacted delayed to the accelerator pedal and felt no rich train on the way. It also switches delayed at speeds of up to 2500 rpm. In the past the response behavior was very direct and the acceleration quite linear. What could this be about? For about a similar time a speed-dependent Surren (between 1000 and 2000 rpm) can be heard from the engine compartment. Grades was therefore replaced the servo pump, the Surren is But still there. The guys from Mercedes are baffled. Does any of you have any idea what that might be about? Thank you very much.

Auto Starter spins for a long time, what could that be?
Hello dear forum, I’m new here (22, young layman) and have a question. At my KIA Ceed BJ 2010 115PS Diesel the starter has been turning for a very long time. I already had problems with the fact that the car only started with bridge or with roll-on. Then I was home because of Corona a week and outside it snowed a lot and it went into the minus straight at night, so car was not driven a week. After that I had to start with roll-on, which also directly funktio At a backyard workshop I was told that it was the glow candles (did not look, only listen to the problem.) and with a car with a mileage of almost 300,000km you should not exchange them because they break. I should wait until the summer, because it then gets warmer and the problems disappear. The other workshop wanted to insert glow candles (also not looked into the engine compartment) but the glow candles alone would cost already 400€. So as far as I know, they haven’t changed at all about 100,000km. My father had the car in front of it and he said that the car is having trouble every winter. I just don’t know if it’s 1. so good when the starter spins an entire minute before the car starts and 2. if it’s even the starter when others say it could even be the starter. What’s most surprising to me is that no one taps on the battery. nrollen starts the car directly, whenever I have bridged it, it has also started immediately.

AutoHold doesn’t really work well
a) It is disturbing that you have to turn this function on again every time you restart it. Should not be so difficult to realize that the last condition (on/off) remains stored. b) The fact that by switching on the AutoHold function the parking brake is also automatically active after switching off the engine is rather annoying. In my opinion, AutoHold has nothing to do with the parking brake in the case of a standing car. c) AutoHold does not work with my car. really good. Even with the smallest slope (or slope) the car rolls with the AutoHold turned on, although the car has been brought to a standstill. Closing is no longer confirmed by lights
With my i20 from 2015 I have been observing for a few months that, after I lock the vehicle with the radio key, everything is actually going to go, but that is not confirmed by a long light. The lights are still going, because an opening is still indicated by 2x short flashing. However, the last maintenance was in the summer, and I mean, as funny as I still think, I would have noticed earlier, if that had happened after a software update. What’s that weird thing?

Airmatic sinks during the ride when it is set to hard
Hello, everybody! Have had a W220 500 Bj 02.2002 Since I wanted to drive the car in sport at last, i.e. hard adjustment at the highest level! Has the car completely sunk on the front of the tacho “airmatic, stop car too low”! At the right turn the car came up again! Have also put on comfort again! What can it be now? Compressor? Relay? Spring leg leak? But only front and even!?!? Thanks already for your answers!

W220 bought in June from Mercedes: alternator broken/door control unit who has to pay?
Hi I bought first hand a Mercedes S 320 Cdi Bj 08/2003 with 87 t km at a Mercedes dealership in Austria on 14 June 2012. After 2 months the control unit broke down. According to the dealership, this is a wear part and went on pickup. I’m not paid. Now I drive to Munich with just under 200 km/h and the engine shuts down, every light goes off and servo no longer works. In the display stands light generator dekekt. Adac comes to check: Conclusion Overvoltage alternator k aputt. And this after 3 months and 8 t km. Now the Lima eig. is also a wear part… read today in the I net that the car dealership in the first 6 months does not have to prove that the defects existed during delivery. What chance do I have? What do you mean if you don’t want to take over the costs? directly turn on my lawyer. Thought you would buy a smart car and have only problems… Greeting Michel

A heretical question: Do you feel safe in your S-Class? Not an unwarranted question, considering that a passenger has not recently survived a collision with a smart(!) in Berlin city traffic. Which D2S Xenon burners are installed as standard in the CL??
Hello, this morning apparently the xenon burner on the right side said goodbye. It started to flicker, and was in between once. In addition the message in AI. Can someone give me the exact designation of Philips or Osram, so that I get the same light again, if I reorder the???? The offer is quite big on the market. My car is from 2004. As a standlight I have the Philips Blue Vision, with the things I am very happy. If no one has an idea, I just have to expand one and look. Maybe someone has made a change recently.
