Hello together, at last he has arrived. A few pictures. Tomorrow he is probably admitted. I was allowed to leave the engine on. The sound is enormous. When starting: a short roar! After that a nice dull sonorous hum. At the gas: a small hurricane. Simply phenomenal! I don’t think I drive here sparingly. The sound is simply too good. I could not have left the radio. I wouldn’t have thought it (but all the supporters of the 500s were probably right). I Ch had already tried a G without a sports exhaust system. There are worlds in between. I’ve never had such a cool car. More pictures follow when I finally have the box. Fortunately, I cleaned my G350 over two hours yesterday. I just have to go through the washing machine tomorrow and can then switch. Greeting Tom

OMXXX Lifetime CDI engines
Hello, your Benz driver. I’m thinking about getting a C 220 CDI. However, after reading about engine problems here, I’m a bit unsure. My budget only allows a used car, and the diesel models have usually quite good running performance behind them. What experiences have you had? How long do your engines last? How vulnerable is the other mechanics? What does an AT engine (including installation) cost in the worst case? I’m grateful for every information. Martin

Water pump defective 🙁
Hi Forum, after a successful holiday in Austria (my wife called out to save money), my 9-5 Kombi 2.0t (150 hp) had to go to the workshop because my computer whispered something of low cooling liquid. Result: 400-500 Eur (take the car off this afternoon) because cooling water pump is defective. The whole thing after only 76,000 km. So much for saving 🙁 🙁 My question: is normal? I mean 76,000 km and about 4.5 years old car, so my old Ford Escort lasts longer? h now set to even more problems or is that just bad luck? What do your experiences look like? Please don’t say hello to Oliver P.S. too much bad experiences, my soul must be caressed, after all, the 9-5 combo is my “dream car”…

Everything’s great, everything’s normal, or what?
In the operating instructions for my 2,3ltr-bolden with the legendary 170 horsepowers it is to be read that he needs a clean lead-free fuel, which has its octane number between 91 and 98 ROZ. So depending on the mood and waiting time at the pump I refuel this or that. But mostly the 91 ROZ juice. (Finally no orthodontist) And thus my little one runs exactly as beautiful as with the “higher percentage” varieties. At least I don’t notice any disadvantage. I’ve never been in, on, on or next to this north turn (where is it actually?) to deduce myself on whole or tenth of a second or anything else. I like to drive comfortably and speedily – as far as it goes. But without infatuating the frenzy. So I ask myself, which pros-perspective drawbacks do you negotiate with this or that fuel? After all the concentrated “Knoff Hoff”, which I was allowed to read and learn here, I have a little hope, for this I have some hope. to be able to expect rich information.

Recommended purchase 900 II – 2l Turbo or 6-cylinder?
Hello forum, I am looking for a 900er (Cabrio, Serie II) and would rather take the 6-cylinder. I find the running culture in combination with an automatic transmission (currently) more attractive. The alternative would be the 136kw-turbo – the new engines I find rather uninteresting and what you read here about engine damage rather creepy. I would be happy about a few short opinions, tips etc.. Nils

Multimedia on the scooter
I’ve had a car radio on the scooter for many years. The sound is transmitted via cable to the 5 cm broadband speaker installed in the helmet, which works quite well and does not decouple the outside noise like the headphones. Since last year this radio was broken, I didn’t want to replace it with a simple radio receiver anymore but decided to use a 7″ multimedia player. r Looking back directly behind my scooter through the existing mirror was simply too little. So I have attached to this device a rear-view camera to the scooter and thus always have a third (electronic) rear-view mirror, which is very useful for me. Multimedia means, I have to listen to a lot of other possibilities of playback besides radio, so I can play music, pictures from Micro SD card and if it should be also movies. Also a playback would be possible r USB stick. Only what I don’t have in this device is an integrated Navi, because I already have a separate Navi, which can be mounted higher above the multimedia player. Sound outputs are available for two helmets and these can be connected and controlled separately. Now I could have been satisfied, but if you are already there, you want to exhaust everything else. So now speakers had to be connected to the scooter and because the small upper speakers the sound n A subwoofer has not been installed at the bottom. All loudspeakers can be easily removed as required. I liked my multimedia expansion in every way and I am fully satisfied with sound and all the possibilities.

used 50s sport recommendation
Hello together, I’m looking for a used 50’s, and hope it looks like a sports motorcycle. What I want to spend is a maximum of 1200 euros. I hope it’s in original condition and is immediately wide. Nothing else so many requirements on first registration, mileage. I’ve been looking for something like Yamaha TZR 50, Rieju rs2 Matrix. But the main problem is, there’s too little sports-50’s. I live in Munich (Garching) and accept purchase in the circle of 200km. How do you rate the price and what would you buy if you had the same wish and 1200 Euro budget as I did? VG CakeByOcean ————– short to me I’m a beginner with a car driver’s license and I want to get a motorcycle to practice. Mainly I would drive back and forth between school and home (2 km). Sure, I’ve already driven scooters but is certainly something else to sit on such a machine! I planned later A1/A2/A Führersc that’s why I want to practice with 50s now. Now I can’t drive anything more than 50ccm and I can’t get a block of time to learn higher class

Yamaha SR 500 almost doesn’t start warm
Moin Bin SR beginner and have placed a Yamaha SR 500 2J4 Bj. 82, approx. 35Tkm. On this I put a little hand and converted to CafeRacer. The engine was overhauled due to long service life about 20 J. by the previous owner about 500km ago, i.e. cylinder honing, pistons with oversize…. In the carburetor all membranes are new and it has been cleaned, the vacuum petrol tap works as it should, it is an open K&N LuFi installed. Now my problem, when the little one is cold jumps si e mostly at the first kick to the choke I don’t have to press it half, but if it is warm it is almost not to start. Have already all trick to start incl. warm start button, a little gas…. tried and was already in the SR 500 forum on the search, but the little one simply doesn’t want, if it is colder then it starts again. Idle running, running behavior and passage are ok. It is an iridium candle installed which has improved the cold start very much, candle image is t brown only candle foot is black. I have already measured the LiMa by, cold about 20° between brown – black should 330 Ohm is 311 Ohm, red – black should 335 is 317 Ohm, brown – red should 5 Ohm is 7 Ohm, in warm condition (oil has 80°) brown – black 397 Ohm, red – black 404 Ohm, brown – red 7 Ohm, should also be OK? Does anyone have an idea???

Dt 50 MX – doesn’t turn very high (only 80%)
My DT 50 MXS unfortunately causes problems. It rotates cleanly high up to about 80%, but then the rest is missing. It looks like you are missing fuel on top. It’s all 100% original, also the main nozzle suction nozzle etc. The mixing screw is set exactly according to manual, 1.5 turns out, the needle is in place 2. What I have done so far: I cleaned the carburettor twice, all nozzles are free, every hole. The float is set correctly. The air filter is like new. The connector between the carburetor and the air filter box is right… I removed the cracker and exhaust, was quite oily, I cleaned it coarsely, but I am almost sure that it is not the source of the fault. In my opinion, the spark plug looks ok, brownish, a little rusty on the outside, maybe it runs a little too fat. But it’s always a bit grim, but it’s a little greasy, so I’ve sealed it now. Not at the back, and I definitely drove the DT 50 already fatter and it ran normal… It’s striking that when I start the moped now, it’s short the first two, three times when I turn up gas give, but then no more. It’s like a lack of 10-20 % power. It doesn’t run completely bad, you can drive. But normally the DT 50 MX (is my third) always run around 60, and it runs like that only 50. And at some point it already ran better. Somehow says My gut feeling that the problem is in the carburetor, but I have no idea what else to test… do you have an idea?
