Hello Mods, wanted to get me some information for Landrover Freelander, but find no Landrover forum. Then I thought this might be in the Jaguar forum, but I can’t find anything about LR. Are some forums “vicious” to the restructurings at MT? Or did I just look in the wrong place ? roggomax

17-year-old article described the exhaust fraud in detail
This 17-year-old article (Mercedes Benz w123 as “New Youngtimer”) simply describes exactly the presence of shut-off devices for exhaust cleaning as if it were the most natural of the world: http://www.wurmkat.de/presse/oldtimer/markt/abgastest/abgastest.htm Maybe one or the other finds interesting, shows how ridiculous the “We have all never known anything sst” from KBA etc. is…. Have fun reading the scrap metal fanatic wishes

Siff-free and drip-free refuelling
When refueling, there are people who pull out the pump gun diagonally upwards after the end of the refueling process, although it still drips and then the car infiltrates below the tank opening. Especially with the diesel, unsightly traces are created. Most people probably fill up a little more intelligently: at the end let a little drain, pull out the pump gun only half (so that the pipe is still in the tank end), then move the whole pump gun downwards, s o that the pipe is the highest point and nothing can drop out anymore. (Especially as a man one is familiar with the principle “first shake off” well.) Now I noticed, however, that it is still siffing. The fuel comes from the connection point between the handle of the pump gun and the metal tube. For the first time I noticed this a few years ago, I thought that it would only be at this one pump, but by now it seems at almost all gas stations so z u. The drip-free petrol stations are now in the minority. So you have to put a paper or a cloth under the pipe in addition to the described method. Have you had similar experiences with your petrol stations? Or is it just a coincidence that so many petrol stations are affected here in the region?

Restoring underbody protection on a car!
Hello people! I noticed at my vehicle (at the front where you put the jack) on the underbody that the underbody protection is loosening. It peels off on both sides on a 5cm2 surface and it rusts a little. Would like to remove and renew the underbody protection at the place with a drill and a round wire brush. How should I treat the rusty places? I personally would have made the place half-blank, then painted with rust converter, then rusted What is the original underbody protection of cars? These are so hard and resistant – is there something to buy? Know underbody protection on rubber and bitumen basis – but these are not as solid as the stuff that is applied in the factory. My questions to you would be: How exactly do I proceed to treat the said places on the underbody? Which underbody protection should I use? h use? Please ask for your comments!

Accelerate with cruise control
Hi, I’ve already looked for the topic in some forums and found a lot of things. Only the mentioned vehicles are older and would like to know what it is like for newer cars. My Opel Astra K 1.4 150 hp automatic is year 2016. I have also seen a video about the topic in which it is shown that you can accelerate with the cruise control. But is this also good for the engine or other components? The consumption is now put there, but should be better. If the cruise control accelerates. Is this harmful in the long run? If I have saved 70km/h for example and drive on a continuous 70s zone and there is a red traffic light. Then I actually only have to roll and then hit the cruise control and it accelerates to the last stored speed. I happen to happen on the highway and the transmission switches down really far. Is probably wanted because of the ideal efficiency of the engine. Can you still give me a little bit of speed. to say on the topic and make it clear whether this can have harmful effects? Thank you already once and beautiful Sunday still

++GSX-R 750 bj.93 …problem ignition control times camshaft!!!
Hello people ..who knows a advice! After changing a defective cylinder head gasket I have according to my feeling or rather according to the service manual mounted camshafts and control chain now problems with the. No 2 days before still super jumped…. now after the assembly and even with the help of starter spray the < box no longer starts..no Cance... there came only a loud misappropriation out of the exhaust and once out of the air filter box. The ignition cables are Zylinder 1. and 4 spool 1 and cylinder 2 and 3 to spool 2. That's all ok....according to Handbich, the ignition marking on the ignition device at the stroke and at the top of the release camshaft at marking 1 and 90 degrees above the marking 2 and then 13 pins of the control chain direction inlet camshaft at marking 3 had to be mounted on the chain ..span ..all..finished. I don't know what's going on now. ...why is the ignition time now no longer right. Where could the flaws The manual would have to be decided for the assembly...or does it matter very much if the marking at the Züngeber dead point is only 1 mm offset?....please help me..Thank you in front of the people!

Suzuki Gsx400e Bj 1982
Hey in the round, I got an old Suzuki for the transition 3 days ago until I can drive my big one. She now has 71000km down. Mechnaically she sounds good. However, she has a small problem. In idle and under partial load and full load she runs in the lower speed range top. As soon as the speed goes over 5500 rpm, there are ignition oscillators. I would say load independent. I could not turn it up until now during the ride over 7000 rpm, before there is massive ignition In addition there are exhaust patches in thrust operation, at the beginning I thought, standart Magerpatschen. However, if I give full speed over 5000 rpm again the thrust breaks come. If I pull the Chocke now at full load and at high speeds (if they would run to lean, these triggers would have to stop, because there is enough gasoline there) the whole situation worsens and the motorcycle refuses the service until the speeds have fallen again. ke good. Spark plug says from behind the motorcycle standing on the right cylinder rather fatter mixed than left. Overall quite good candle picture. What I have done so far: 1. Carburettor cleaned in the ultrasonic bath but without installing new nozzles. I have left everything as it is. I noticed that the main nozzle is a 120er. In the repair kit, which I bought, there are once 87,5 and 117,5. https://www.ebay.de/itm/183526211000 I have k should be the right one, right? 2.valve test that was right 3. camshaft has the number 44210 (possibly the one from the 41ps version? ) I got another engine to the motorcycle. In the carburetor were also 120 nozzles. What could this problem be? Should I check the ignition? Spark is there, on both sides. Crammers heat up at the same time. The right cracker is a bit leaky on the flange. I personally would say that the cart is running on top of it. u fat. What do you mean? I’m a bit perplexed. I hope in secret, that the main nozzle is simply too large. Does anyone have the data, which nozzles of plant are installed in the carburettor? The carburettor should be a Mikuni Bs 34. Or a tip, what I could still check? Thank you
