Hello! I am now 18 years old and would like to buy my first car. I have really got into the BMW’s 3s, but with these, every insurance I calculated is more than 1100 euros. (Also as a second car of my father ( 35% class)) Can one expect a BMW 3s with less than 1000 insurance per year or is that really not possible? I am now looking for a similar limousine, which is as low as possible a type class, around 100 hp, a manual transmission and a petrol moto r has. I’m sorry that I’m not very specific, unfortunately I’m a bit unplanned and therefore look here for inspiration, so again summarized : possible low maintenance, limousine, 250€+, gasoline, manual transmission. Is there the car for me or is it utopian? The consumption doesn’t matter so much, as I will probably only drive around the 8 thousand km per year. What about convertibles? Can you convertibles with older year of construction ( e.g. 318i Cabrio BJ 2000 ) also in case of rain o This seems to be very cheap in insurance, for example, http://www.autokostencheck.de/BMW/BMW-3er/318/318i-cabrio-bmw-3-r_6850.html I am looking forward to every answer and apologize for my ignorance If things are still unclear, I am happy to clarify this.

Private and cost-effective racing in NRW?
Hi all, I am, as you can see, new here. Nevertheless, I hope to get some information, hints or other from you. I myself have been driving karts for several years. I have now become 39 and quite fat (115 kg). As a result I no longer fit into the seat (no joke). Since I am anyway, one of the worst kart drivers, I have always wondered if there are still inexpensive racing series. My idea is, e.g. old cars like a golf, polo etc. normal tires (sewer heating equipment in the interior is clear, like fire extinguishers, roll cage etc.) Alone the tires for the kart cost already the quantities, approx. 200 Euro. They hold then also approx. 2-4 hours pure driving time. Then you are scrap. Thus the question(s), there in the room NRW such events (no cross !), how expensive is the participation, which conditions are to be met, possibly contact with you possible to talk your experiences by PN or mail? Any Li nks or dates available? etc. I just want to participate to have fun with it. What would I give for it, to run once on the Nürburgring. It is important that it can really be afforded by any “normal mortal” too. For info tips etc. I would be very grateful to you. Gruss Wally

Ideal racing engine: 8V vs. 16V
Which type of engine is better suited for use in golf 2 (mainly slalom)? 8V or 16V Although a 16V has more power as standard, an 8V should be able to turn up faster. How about the tuning possibilities? So what is possible and what does it cost? I heard that 16V tuning is too expensive and difficult… To the rear end: Have a 16V motor (MKB PL) including various tuning works. But don’t know if this is the ideal basis for a slalom motor, since f always when it comes to racing (whether slalom or circuit) only praises 8V engines… Thx P.S. I’m talking only about suction engines!

Question about finishing rims
Since I haven’t reworked any rims yet, only managed down and then bought a new one, I have a few questions: My current OZ Volcanos have a painted star and a finely turned low bed. See picture. On the right front wheel I have a 10 cm long curb ratchet. It should go away. Now there are two possibilities: the one rim can be rotated again and coated. But that costs me fast times 150 EUR per wheel and I have to send it (again about 13 EUR). e.g. www. aluklinik.de So the cool look would remain. Or I let here at a tyre dealer around the corner polish all four beds. Costed inclusive tires up and down completely 160 EUR. There is a good price, but the surface is unprotected and must be treated at least once a month by the driver (you get a paste). Maybe I would have the star painted in white in addition to polishing. Then the polished bed could also be covered with clear varnish. What is to be kept of it (clear varnish in bed) regarding rockfall? I am grateful for any help, would like to have this done over winter. Everything else is too annoying.

Glass damage problem
Good evening, I had about 2 months ago a stone blow, insurance reported, off to Carglass there around the corner. After the reperatur about 10 km afterwards jump in the disk from left down to right up… Again with the insurance reported, where was the system down, nevertheless I talked with the woman and said so I can not drive, in the field of view etc. Ok the woman asked me if I have a workshop binding, I do not have one!!!! So I can decide where to go I’m going. End of the conversation. BMW called and said I need a new disk immediately, they had a new one there. 5 hours later everything was paid 150€ and good. Now I get a letter from the Axa like that can be with the 2 damages within a very short time and the invoices! And I should leave the selection for damages to them, if not the contribution of the SB when replacing windshields by 250€ and for carroserie damage by 500€…. What is this now??? I don’t understand… what do you want me to say on the phone tomorrow?

Helmet was damaged, question about discount
Hello, in March of this year I bought a new helmet from Hein Gericke for almost 200€. From a friend I got a voucher over 20.15%, you did not need it. So far, so well. I paid with discount deduction, almost 160€ Now this friend has happened a little misfortune, she striped my helmet yesterday with a bag and the helmet fell to the ground. At the same time a small pin is broken which is responsible for the sun protection visor. Function is but now very limited. Now my question about it. My friend will report this to your liability, quite clearly. Should the insurance replace the helmet, from which I assume, it will replace the almost 200€ or the price with the discount? Of course, the original invoice is available. I will not get the 20.15% now. Should I actually bear the 50€ extra cost if it goes very badly?

Own car up to 12000-13000,-€, 15tkm/pa
Hello together, I would like to buy my first own car at the age of 22, now. I currently earn approx. 1800,-€ net, with mtl. expenditures of approx. 800-1000,-€ (apartment with all NK, food, insurances). My desired car should have the following extras: – air conditioning automatic -robuster, economical engine -price values fully comprehensive – multifunction steering wheel – place for 1 large and 1 small suitcase – radio with AUX/USB and pleasant speakers -(Tempomat) -new or annual car? the Hyundai I20 very well, but let me say that the 1.2 liter engine should be a little “lahm”. My girlfriend is currently driving a Peugeot 206 with a 75hp diesel, which is getting slower and slower on mountainous routes and cannot keep the speed, I would like to avoid that with my car please. Would like to thank me for your answers in advance.
