Moin! My wife gets her new car in December and I’m just tired of constantly changing the wheels, buying a second set of rims including tire pressure sensors and co.! Now the thought was simply to mount all-year tires on the org. rim and good. She drives in the year when it comes up 10,000km and here in the “Flachland” in Ostwestfalen-Lippe hardly ever really winter. Now she has installed from factory 205/45R17 and there the selection is apparently not so big! ? I would have had the Vredestein in mind now, but from the tests 50% are positive and 50% negative… Then there are still tens of cheap manufacturers that I would ignore directly and just for example the adhesive Quadraxer2, the Falken AS200 or the Nokian Weatherproof. I had a few years ago on my vehicle the Goodyear Vector 4 Seasons on it which did its job, however the tire was animally loud. Is that so with all year-round tires? Someone possibly experience i n exactly the size with a manufacturer? Greeting, René

Is there a reasonable (hobby) paint gun set around 60-70€
Hello! As the title already says, I am looking for a useful paint gun set up to ~ 60-70€. Up to now I had always used either spray can (for small parts) or a VOYLET professional pistol of a friend paintr, depending on what should be painted and how big. Since this however is spoiled I would like to buy now a own. Compressor etc are available. Have found ebay e.g. this HVLP pistol set from BGS. A small and a large would be ideal for my e Purposes. What to think about it, and there are better (not necessarily more expensive) alternatives/brands? At BGS the spirits do differ a little… Buying even cheaper is certainly not the best decision,or? Should be dense and not spit. Do not want to paint permanently but it is always something to laugh, and then it should look useful. I also think that I am a bit spoiled/was from the VOYLET Pro pistol, and has to do cuts what the result s/handling concerns, but this is too expensive for me for the hobby use. Thanks already to everyone for the tips and advice !! mfg

XVS125 Dragstar
Hello guys I’m new here and drive a XVS125H dragstar,EZL 07/03. I’m actually happy with the part, but it could be a little faster. Is there maybe a tuning CDI. The following data are on Original CDT: Denso 5JX-82305-00, TNDF60H. My dealer told me that there would be nothing to do, even for the carburetor. That’s why I’m turning to you.

I am a bit divided whether to be set or to be set yourself but you can check the track yourself with the part that would be the 100 Euro

Axial game of the force wave on a force machine. Request for experience/opinions
Hello together, recently I own an older Gorghi force machine. I have found that the force wave has light (feelable) axial game. Is such a problem or the wave must have any game = 0. How does this look on your machines. I look forward to your suggestions and opinions. Thank you and greeting

Set track yourself
Hello Together I do not want to trigger a fundamental discussion about sense or nonsense here and I always have my track set professionally, but I have come to a laser adjustment tool and do not understand how it works. In doing so, a laser is sent from one front wheel to the other and reflected back on a scale via a mirror parallel to the wheel. Thus, I can check how many angular seconds both wheels have to each other (Vo But how do you find out, and that’s where my understanding of how the relation to the vehicle is? So how do you make sure that the wheels are 90* to the vehicle when setting e.g. 0*?

Screwdriver basic equipment
Greetings together, I have decided to go under the car screwdrivers. First of all just change smaller things like tires, exchange oil/petrol filters, exchange lights and similar things. My knowledge source here is mainly the forum, “So wirds wirds” books and video tutorials. As an industrial mechanic I am not quite poorly positioned as an industrial mechanic, I would say a certain basis is present. Only tools are missing, until now I have a toolbox with the following contents: Screwdrivers of all kinds bit sets all possible attachments metal saw pliers file hammer Inbus and Torx set small 3/8″ ratchet box up to 14mm rust releaser and brake cleaner wire brush steel/brass plastercloths and gloves electric small tools (insulation tape, luster clamps, cable shoes) What else could I need? I thought of: shunting car lifter (only the small one that was present at the car) 1/2 inch ratchet box up to 32? mm torque wrench? From-to? Loc tite Copper paste Contact spray Refractometer A wrench set, from 6-32? mm Such plastic “spray” to solve cladding parts in the interior? A nice Tuesday evening wishes you emyr

Noise during braking
Evening colleagues, it can’t be what can’t be… That ne Harley has his peculiarities and special sounds, so fucking What can someone define me more like the following “noise scenery”!? When the front brake is pressed, there comes a very hard-to-describe noise, felt from the cables on the left side of the handlebar…that’s so penetrant that it’s truly impossible to overhear… funny question about a m.E. funny noise…I’ve never experienced that before on a bike… Someone’s idea what that could be!? Greeting Micah

Manifold leaks?
Moin , at my FXDX TC 88 renewed the Manifold gaskets (Blue James Gasket) trial start was great , I turned it off again , left it standing . Then wanted to drive yesterday . Sprang on with Choke . As soon as you turned off the Choke the engine went off immediately . Then she did not start at all , after about 1 hour she jumped on , then drove her immediately home ~ 5km . Meanwhile she does not go to candles were completely black ( were new ) Got the carburettor run But if you look into the still screwed Manifold, the seal on both sides looks like in the photo, I don’t need to look any further or ?
