With the scooter to Spain?
Hello together Hope, my question is right here :-). I live in Switzerland and own a Kymco 125 GTI. I would like to go to Barcelona with my scooter. According to Google Maps I would have the choice to drive via Italy or France. The route is about 1,000 km long on both routes. I would like to drive the route – if it runs according to plan – at once or take short breaks. I wanted to know which of you has a long journey with the scooter behind you. How was it for you? What dangers did you have or what advantages and disadvantages such a trip has? And can you drive through the motorways in Italy/France or Spain with a 125cc scooter? I’m very happy about your reviews. Thank you 🙂

20kmh at the mountain
I’ve been having a problem with my scooter (Pegout Speedfight 3 50Lc) for some time now. On the mountain it doesn’t reach more than 20kmh and the speed drops. However, if you change the Vario rollers to approx. 4.9 grams (instead of 8g) the speeds do not drop and I get the same mountain with cam30-35kmh which is normal. However, I can’t drive with these Vario rollers, since then my motor directly overheats after approx. 5mins drive, which just gets you speeds at 4.9 grams consistently between 8 -9t. I changed the Vario, the clutch and the V-belt without success. Varioweights have also been renewed. Does anyone have an idea of what it might still be? I would be very pleased about solution suggestions. Thank you so much

LMM test according to Ross-Tech
You know the company Ross-Tech. These are the developers of the VAG-COM software. Here is a statement about the relationship air mass <-> performance: “Here’s a good sanity check for the status of your MAF. Do a full-throttle run all the way to redline in a single gear (second works fine). Group 002 usually shows air mass in g/s. Your peak airflow should be roughly 0.80 times your horsepower. So, if you have a stock 150 hp 1.8T, expect around 120 g/s. If you have a 201 hp 24V VR6, expect around 160 g/s. If you see significantly less than that, you MAF may be on the way out. This still works if you are chipped, but “race” programs may make more power through timing, rather than airflow. Therefore, take all readings with a grain of salt.”

again….motorprobs – NG
hello. my car has always or maybe still something…. I put so much in it by now, then he went a while. partly he ran then a few weeks good but now only about 1 day after the reperatur. at first: petrol pump changed…was again top…but only one day. petrol filter…1 day. ignition can be set…3 days. now I changed the reverberator, distributor cap, runner and the cable. he ran a day well and then again the usual. no lei stung. starts cold always very bad. stutters when starting with 2 or 3 zilynder away, but runs after a few seconds “normal.” which is very strange, if I drive into a curve (mostly at smaller speeds – under 80 km/h) and then wants to get back into the gas, the performance goes back in a jerky way. so…I don’t get into the curve with any power and then the one takes away something from me. is not the world but is noticeable. yesterday he braked very hard and stuttered only more, didn’t take any more gas at all. he sounded like he was only running on 2 or 3 zilynder and it was often such a dull knocking or beating… sounded like malfunctions. that was already several times, but it always lay down after about 30 seconds. today I looked at the contact on the temperature sensor. this was a little damp. could that be the reason? please ask for advice. mfg. invi

Berm fluid loss HIFLE
hi at my 80s TDI I filled up the brake fluid at the end of october, as the warning light turned on. since a few days, the light starts flashing again at bumpy rides. at the end of october I left approx. 2-3mm air to the max. stand. today I looked again and now it is about 2-3mm above min. stand. but I could not detect any stains on the floor until now (is mostly on bottler, which is usually wet at the time or on grass where you can d as not seen) under the tank in the engine room are also no “wet” spots. do you know perhaps what this can be about? can not be that I can refill dot every 2-3 months again. have also suspected that he consumes oil. have made end october also oil changes and there was the stand on max. now it is about 3 mm under. Thanks mfg

Audi 80 B4 vs. Golf III 1.4
Moin, I currently have a Golf 3 1.4l with 60hp and I need a slightly faster car, the acceleration is actually fine, could be a little bit more, but I’m not satisfied with the 170km/h as top speed, it should already be more than 190km/h. For almost 2 years I think about buying an Audi 80 B4, now my questions: 1) I feel a clear difference in the acceleration between the Audi 80 2.0 with 90hp compared to my lahp 2) Is a 90hp motor enough to reach the 200km/h limit or should I buy an Audi 80 with 116hp? 3) How good is the Avant with the 116hp engine? What are the differences to the Limo version with regard to technical flaws?

Accident without fault: Estimate only with photos
Hello all, Today my son was cut on his KTM by a can-driver who had to brake heavily to all excess because of the stagnant traffic. My son too, but it was not enough despite the headstand and he hit the bumper of the accident opponent with the front wheel. Luckily nothing happened to him, nor did he fall down. The police clearly identified the can-driver as the cause of the accident. Now the question is how to put the KTM in the workshop for a co-driver. I would be sure to go to the number and not drive the machine until the story has been clarified. What is the usual practice? Or can the workshop draw up a cost estimate using photos?
