  • Aprilia SR 50 LC no longer wants to…

Moin Moin… I’m pretty desperate a few days ago, because the scooter of an acquaintance unfortunately doesn’t want to start at all and I’m now at a loss. I’m dealing with an Aprilia SR 50 LC, which just went out a year ago during the ride and never sprang up again. I looked at the whole thing and went to troubleshooting, but now I’m at the point where I don’t know any more. He has compression, an ignition spark, gets fuel and the exhaust is also free. Even with the start pilot it does not ignite. My first thought was the ignition coil, because it was sparking at first quite weak, but even with a newly installed coil and stronger ignition spark it became nothing… Would be very grateful if anyone here still has further ideas about what the whole thing can be about. I have the feeling that it is related to the ignition / ignition sparks, because it does not even react to the start pilot, but the spark is just visible at the frame, find that i I thought that he was drunk several times, but then I could rule it out, after I “emptyed” him a few times… LG Daniel

  • Gas acceptance spins

Hello, I’m new here and have a problem with my runner c46. I bought it before a few weeks used and it went well but always when I drive over mud or potholes he suddenly takes no more gas. then I have to stop and give full gas and then go again or if I drive faster over it sometimes nothing happens and when I drive over slowly he takes no more gas. He is completely original. Have already cleaned up the carburettor. Again again set but the problem is still. I don’t know about the model and I don’t know what it could be. Maybe you can help me

  • 600er bandit cylinder full with fuel

Hi! Got a big problem and hope you can help me !!! Drive a 600s bandit bj. 2000 and have now so ung. 13000 km down. The problem I have is the following. I drove from work quite normal to home via highway and put it normally at my door. So ung. 4 hours later I started again and started the machine. Or better said I tried,…… the starter started only briefly and then was off. Motor did not turn on and starter turned There I noticed a large spot under my bike on the ground. It was fuel. Looking for a little bit, I determined that the sprite dripped out of the air filter. So I took off the tank and opened the air filter. It was completely filled with fuel ! Determined 1 litre or so. When I checked the spark plugs, I noticed that the of cylinder 4 was completely wet and really bad for fuel stank. So I lit in and had to find with horror that the Z ylinder had run full. I kept the spark plug outside, put in the 2nd passage and pushed. The fuel came out literally. If I look at the glass so, I believe that also some fuel mixed with mang. What should I do now? How can I get out the fuel and what could be the error? I opened the lid briefly from the carburetor of the 4th cylinder and pulled the needle out! Everything seemed fine! But I didn’t make any further progress. a week ago, the valves were adjusted and the carburetors were synchronized ! They were running really nice and quiet all the time. Had a pass and was happy that she was running so nice. Until today ! Hope you can help me !!! Greet Kevin

  • Gixxer vibrates at constant speed

Hello! The title may sound strange, but I don’t know how to call and describe the “problem” (if it’s one thing). Maybe it’s just normal, because my bike is getting older and the mileage is increasing? Who doesn’t ask stupidly, remains stupid. I think that my bike is kind of restless at constant speed. Not especially on the handlebars, but simply in general. I just feel a kind of vibration from the engine. ch. When I give gas, everything is okay! When I walk off the gas and slow down, everything feels so normal. But if I drive constantly 30, 50, 70, 100 or whatever, I feel a vibration, as if moving components in the engine were too dry, although they should be oiled (sounds stupid, but I try to describe this feeling as much as possible). The rotational number in this “feel” is so normal and remains constant. Nothing fluctuates. I know that my motorcycle has been running more smoothly – even at constant speed. I would have liked to have this suppleness as when buying the motorcycle again. Last year I bought the motorcycle with 26.790 km. At 30,000 km I had the big 24,000 inspection done, because the previous owner (screwer) allegedly did it himself, but I wanted to be safe. I did the 36,000 inspection. in April itself. Now I am at about 40,200 km. I changed spark plugs yesterday. The oil is only 4,200 km “old”. Last month I changed the chain set. The chain set before was from Suzuki. Now I have a D.I.D. chain as well as pinion and chain wheel from AFAM. Maybe this chain set just drives rougher and is normal? In addition, the steering head bearing was replaced by a workshop and I changed the steering damper (original). It certainly reads itself. Some people may not be able to understand the explanation. But maybe someone had the same problem and/or maybe they know what I mean and would have a tip on it? Of course there is still the option Workshop, but maybe there are things I could try myself before.

  • Stranger screwed around my GS500

Hello in the round ! I’ve been riding motorcycle again recently and have gained a beautiful Suzuki GS500. She ran perfect for 2 weeks until I came back last week from the holiday. Please check my inconsistency but as I said, driving for 3 weeks The GS500 ran perfect, as I said, two weeks. Then at once no more… She is constantly strangled even after the “warm driving” while braking, before curves or traffic lights etc.. She only stayed on if the Choke Akti At first I thought it might be due to a clogged valve in the carburetor or similar with the mixture. I was finally at the screwdriver of trust and it turned out that simply someone turned out the “Standgas screw”. Totally banal but I ask myself now of course why do you do such a thing, who and especially where ???? So he turned the screw in again and everything ran perfectly. She was always in the underground garage and nowhere else. My screwdriver assured me that the screw can’t be loosened by vibration etc., so it must most likely have made a neighbor. Otherwise no one has access to the underground garage and goes into the last corner to my bike and fiddles about it. The screw is relatively inconspicuously “hidden” and I think that you have to have some idea to do something like that. It’s not about finding the guilty or making wild accusations now, but to avoid something like that in the future. I just had the idea to make a tarpaulin after the ride over it every time with a kind of marking to see if someone pulled the tarpaulin down. But I find this solution more like Semi. Since you put the machine as protected as possible and there are still so bangs… I have absolutely no understanding for. Does anyone have an idea how to better secure/protect the machine in the future ? opinions, tips, suggestions ? Many greetings

  • new/ALTES family member wanted

my husband and I want to adopt a new/old family member. here we enter new country … we hope here a few advices, which make and models or model years would be advisable and from which beginners should rather leave the fingers (reperatures, spare parts and “model typical defects” he should: at least 30 years old not more expensive than 10,000 V8 super sound max. 5,60 long, so that he can stay in his garage would be great with German approval strassenkreutzer or Pick up …. or combination (el camino – Ranchero) engine power is not in the foreground … must blubber and you must be able to cruise space theremund plus max 100km he does not have to win a paint prize but “tight” and ready to drive have plenty of chrome to poll … 🙂 he should not: never have been registered in Germany his reperature again: it is here an attempt of orientation for us !!! I hope for someone who says now: hmmm… let ma rather the finger v on nem buick, there are no spare parts and the seals are to be exchanged from year on hate-nich-seen only under large wall … prefer nen el camino 67er or nen ranchero 70er … by the way have found a 70er ranchero with switch gear 🙂 I think great. — that this is not as easy as described above “fluffig” I know myself. so before I write my name here …. wait for resonantz and hope for the best 🙂

  • Kreidler Galacitca 2.0 50 dd throttled, but how?

Hello dear motor-talk-community, today I have a something different than most, when it comes to “throttle”. I somehow managed to solve the throttle with this scooter today. KA like. I only checked the belt today if it is still in order. That means only lids unscrewed and screwed on again. During the test drive I drove afterwards lötzlcih 60/70 km/h. After that I checked whether the electronic throttle, i.e. the connectors are still together so the plugs “plug” together. How else could I have solved the throttle or what could be defective? Thank you for your help! Best regards!

  • Scooter back after theft. Ignition lock off, instead weird switch?

Hello, last weekend my Rex 450 RS scooter was stolen right in front of my front door. I immediately made an ad to the police on Monday and on Friday it was found by the police. The ignition lock was built out quite simply. The steering wheel lock they have somehow broken or bent. They must then have snapped the cables from the ignition lock and attached a switch to the leg plate on the top side. So right under the handlebar, a small tipping scarf ter. The toggle switch connects two cables – black and red. So the switch connects the battery + to the consumers like turn signal, starter, taillight etc. If the switch is on now, can the scooter be turned on completely normal without a key via the e-starter. But now comes what I don’t understand – if you turn the switch off again, does the scooter also go off??? Normally the scooter would have to run on without a battery? So the switch only separates the battery and subbri I didn’t find any other manipulations on the electrical system, except that the fuse box was snapped off and the two cables simply drifted together for it. So my question is now only if that is normal? Because I want to install a new ignition lock and restore everything and understand the ignition and its interruption correctly. I always thought that an extra cable is responsible for this on the Rex 450 circuit diagram. The plan can be found here: http://s1.picsafe.de/files/febc828b/bt50qt9_ar_schaltplan0000.jpg For the moment, I am asked how the lock will be connected properly again later. So these two cables are still present in the cable channel and 3 others have snapped through them. A red-black and two black-white. I hope one has a tip for me, what goes wrong or not. Thank you and many greetings

  • Roller hangers

My research on the construction of a scooter trailer has so far been sobering: from the DEKRA, from the TÜV unsatisfactory to no answers at all. Only the hint, which the clutch according to StVO, must have an ABE. Also brake light, indicator, sign m. lighting must be of course. Then the local police asked – also no new findings. Quotation: with the Fuffi with trailer is almost everything allowed, if no components stand out over the max. roller width. Quotation end. (slooowrider’s Saddle bags are therefore not allowed) The most important question for me to the community is: who has sound knowledge: unicycle or two-wheeler? Rigid attachment – or ball head ???
