Hello to each other, I will get a new car in the next 2-4 weeks and have come to the decision: It will be a Dickelch! The basic durability seems to be fundamentally very good, especially with the Facelift. It is supposed to be an XC90 D5 with 185 hp, equipment plays a subordinate role, did not find a car that would not meet my requirements. Now I would like to know directly from the first hand how the 6-stufige Geartronic affects the ride comfort, driving performance and above all the consumption. Annual driving performance is about 30-45,000KM/year, my work path is about 90 km over highway and federal road, the remaining KM come together on long distances, preferably at Tempi between 140 and 160 km/h with Tempomat.

V70 purchase advice?
Jo friends, so I’m 19 years young and I’m doing a joiner’s training. Since I don’t always feel like being on a ride to the factory, I need a car. I thought about the V70 from Volvo (my aunt is driving one as well). But now to my questions: 1) I wanted to insure the car via my mother so that I don’t have to go too deep into the bag. My question to you: what do you pay for insurance and taxes for a V70 D5 with the year 2000-2007? 2) What does it look like about the wear parts? Is Volvo in the repair expensive, or not? Maybe someone knows how to compare it with VW? 3) Where do I have to pay attention when I buy it? I thought to get a petrol truck because I will only drive about 10000 km per year. That means I’m driving about +/- 32 km a day. 4) Would you rather choose a switching transmission or automatic? Please with reason 5) Consumption: I looked at the Internet and I come to an average of 9l on 100km. Is this with you too? I believe that I’m going to have it?

Timing belt change at 1.6 l when necessary?
Hello together, I bought a touran with a normal 1.6 l. It is built in 2005 and has a mileage of 99,500 km. The car was not waiting in general. Except for the oil has not changed so far in the last years. Therefore I think about changing the timing belt. We want to drive the car if possible still good 5 years. A service booklet is not available. When should I really let the belt change? And how do I control it? The belt is disguised. If the test shows no cracks, can I then drive on calmly? Thank you. Greetings

Mood picture: what would you choose
At the moment I’m trying to form my opinion. Since I’m a little unwise, I’d be interested in your opinion. Conditions: – currently the second XC60 – I’m moving a trailer, 1800KG – I’d like to sit up again – Tempi above 210 are completely irrelevant – I have a certain budget, everything that the car is more expensive, I have to pay from my own pocket, after the end of the holding period (4 years) the additional payment goes into the possession of the company – the vehicles are very comparable equipped, less equipment would hurt me Currently I have an XC60 D4 AWD, MT, summum, xenium. I offer a survey with a few basic thoughts. I’ll share my current opinion later…

V60 – Chiptuning Heico/Polestar – useful?
Hello dear friends, I have been calling for 3 months a V60 T3, year 7/2011 my own. And what am I supposed to say – I’m overjoyed. Now a work colleague has latched on me that I should seriously think about a (chip) tuning. Apart from the performance increase this should also be reflected in the consumption (positive). So I fell on google and have read a little cross-read. It has come out that – if you turn on the power screw – you should definitely rely on something from Heico or Polestar. Unfortunately, nothing is offered by these manufacturers for the T3 – or am I just pissed off? Is there also alternative good and trustworthy suppliers? Furthermore, I wonder if the engine does not “suffer” if you make a chip tuning? What are the risks and side effects? And is a chiptuning basically a profit for me at all? For your experiences and advice I would be grateful, dear greeting, Simon

V40 1.8 very high consumption
Hello, after I’ve been looking for the cause of the extremely high consumption, I wanted to turn to the forum for a good answer to the question “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Güße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”:”: “Grüße”:”:”: “Grüße”:”:”:”:”:”:”: “Grüße”:”: “Grüße”:”:”: “Grüße”:”:”: “Grüße”: “Grüße”:”:”:”:”:”:

Door Panel / “Ellbow Shelf”
Hello, it has been posted many times about the quality of the door panel. Unfortunately, I also had to find out that below the disc, where the elbow rests, the upper plastic layer dissolves and begins to glue. (2.4, BJ 2/2004). Is a change over guarantee or is the normal wear?

Loud noise while driving, especially at higher speeds.
Hello, for some time now my Volvo has been running at higher speeds – from about 50/60 kmh – loud running noises. My tyres can’t be because I’ve been driving for a while and the noises have not been present before. It comes from the front, probably left side. To check, we went as follows: vehicle is bucked up, right front wheel is manually blocked, engine is switched on, individual gears are switched on and there was a grinding noise in the area between wheel sprocket and gearbox at higher speeds. Then left front wheel is blocked, engine is blocked, and fixed that with increasing wheel speed on the right, a flickering noise in the area of the gearbox rose parallel to it. Then, to check both front wheels run at the same speed, only the grinding sound of the left side was noticeable. Both brakes were completely open and thus had no contact to the brake disc. We checked gear oil before, the oil stand was flawless! I am worried that it could be the gear? Or can it be the wheel bearing? Evt. other bearings in this area can help me.

Change from BMW to Volvo !?
Hello to the forum round, I’m going to answer as someone who’s never driven a Volvo before. But a lot of BMWs? Currently BMW X6 M50d. But now the new XC 90 really has the stuff that I’m going to be unfaithful and consider a brand change for the first time. However, as I’ve never had anything on my hat with Volvo, I don’t know the typical features that make up the car. Speak the brand culture and understanding. Except perhaps: Safty first. So please allow me a few (if necessary stupid) questions, so that I can “work” the Volvo a little better. I’d be happy about your answers. 1. I’m a lot and therefore passionate diesel driver with a weakness for high torque. Petrol is not a topic for me. Therefore, I would have been interested in the hybrid, but only as a diesel variant, which doesn’t exist. Is there any possibility that in the pipeline? Did Volvo even have diesel hybrids on the market? 2. Why is there just a big SUV for 2Liters?

Pre-climate conditioning / pre-heating / air conditioning
Now I need some help. With the terms pre-climateization, climate in the stand, stationary heating… the thickness (and also the description in the APP) gets a bit confused. The stationary heating heats the interior when the pre-climateization is activated? Aha. Can I not just switch the stationary heating on or off? Have tried this, i.e. “climate in the stand” start… There is also air, but no warm. Also the symbol with the three curved arrows pointing upwards, which should come according to the description in the driver’s display, is not displayed… What completely irritates me is the diagnosis of the VOC APP. There, after the diagnosis under the stationary heating “no” stands. This, regardless of whether I use a timer or a VOC APP “climate in the stand” start or stop (see picture). Is there this menu item without the stationary heating at all?
