  • Large engine = large consumption??

Hello, I always ask myself the question if a car with a lot of ps/cm3 really consumes more than a car with less PS/hubroom. A low-performance car you have to press constantly to get ahead with it. Best example highway: First it is very cumbersome to get the car to speed so you can drive on the AB and second the overcrowding process with a 70 PS gulf is in my opinion very uncomfortable! You almost need a start to be able to overcrowd safely. n 70 hp car with a 100 hp or 150 hp (you don’t really need more!) compare car, would the 70 hp car always have to pay the most on the motorway at approx. 130 KM/H. Would the consumption be higher than with the engine capacity-stronger cars? My incompetent logic tells me: The more engine capacity, the less speed, so the quieter you can run the car and the less fuel consumption. To be able to say what is most economical, one must know w o you drive the most. For people who drive a lot of AB at a speed of approx. 130 km/h upwards, a 150 hp car is probably cheaper than a 70 hp rotary organ, which must be constantly pressed out. For people who drive a lot of city is probably the low-performance small car first choice. But also I think you could drive a car with more engine capacity more economical than a weakling. A hybrid probably (if at all) only interesting for city drivers, but there comes m What do you say? Please tell me what the reality looks like!

  • Accident motorcycle purchased as accident-free

Hello, I bought a Suzuki Bandit 650A, year 2005 for 3500 Euro. Is my first motorcycle. I bought the motorcycle from a Suzuki dealer near Fulda as accident-free. I, however, live 150 km away from Fulda. Yesterday (Thursday, 27.05.2010) I brought the motorcycle to my Suzuki dealer here on location, because I needed a new front tyre. This then took me to the factory when changing tyres. dt called and asked me if this was an accident motorcycle. I of course denied it and was a bit shocked. He showed me that the right fork had been fixed in any case and that was bad (stands 5mm too tight and has scratches from the straightening), moreover one sees with more detail that the fork bridge must have slipped under the steering stop. And that even I see as layman. My dealer on site recommended that I speak to the previous owner sol I did that. I looked for the number from the phone book and called him. He was also very surprised and didn’t know anything about it (he was the 2nd owner). Later in the evening he called me again, that he looked again in his purchase contract and that it would be there that the bike had had a driving accident, but that had been repaired. When I got the hand, I looked at it again and looked at it again in his purchase contract. I know that I have the opportunity to return the motorcycle, but I would rather not like that, because I have already paid more than 500 euros for inspection and the new tires. It would be best if he replaced the parts and with the 1st owner he called me, he knew nothing about it and was very surprised. He asked me that I would come by with him with the motorcycle, he could look at it and we would then clarify the thing as far as possible. asks if there is an expert report about the accident or something. I want to be sure that there is nothing on the frame if the force was so great that it pushed the fork bridge under the steering stop. Besides, my dealer here on the spot said that one should be sure that there is nothing on the other fork. That would mean that this also has to be measured, and, and, and… Has one of you ever experienced something similar or knows about someone? What do you think, what do you think I do? and should? • BOS Endpot without db-killer consequences?

Hello dear Suzi friends, I would like to buy my Bandit 600 a new end pot before the start of the season (BOS oval, hope it’s worth it ). Now I have looked at various Vids at youtube and have come to the decision to take out the db-eater, because it just sounds 1000 times hornier . Can someone tell me what consequences one has to expect if one is stopped by the green friends? Fine? Points? Driving ban? Outside of the vehicle the operating permit expires or r? Merci in advance for your feedback! Greeting Alex

  • Dacia Sandero Bj. 2019 with 75 or 90 HP ??

Hello I want to get a new Sandero. Today I tested with 73 Ps. Unfortunately no one was there with 90 Ps to have the direct comparison. The 75 Ps engine seems to me a little weak …??? Is it a big difference to the 90 Ps Sandero ?? Lg

  • Dacia Duster good?

Dacia Duster good? I’m a passionate VW driver, and normally you don’t buy “that”…but… that’s how I always thought..Sorry! But I want to get away from it..because it’s really stupid because I don’t need a status symbol, but I want to get from a to b cheaply, but robust and without much repairs! I don’t think the look is so bad! But what’s the quality at m Duster? So engine, body, interior? Drive mometan an old golf 2, and there must be something new here. enn Dacia Duster..then probably an annual car or something. It is Renault quasi, the technology, the engine…Renault is not good, but also not bad. Can you repair the Duster yourself well? Big moto space he has yes. Can you please write me something? Maybe also a Duster driver who has the already a few years? How is the automatic? I read, one should rather take manual transmission… If then I would probably take the 1.6 petroler. What is the final speed? He kan n be not sooo bad, because you see some of driving around…. Price/performance is probably unbeatable.

  • XJ 650 gives full throttle at idle

Hello dear motor talker, I have an annoying problem with my XJ 650 from 83. The motorcycle gives full throttle on its own. It starts clean, but turns high after a second and hangs at high speed. I have open air filters on it, but the motorcycle ran with those earlier without any problems. What I have already tested: – Gas and Choke rope hoists have nothing to do with it – Idle speed control screw brings no change – carburettor has been cleaned, all membranes are healed, all nozzles free – mixture screws turned out on 2.5 revolutions, no change – intake nozzle and seal new, no improvement – petrol tap membrane works perfectly. – The carburetor is synchronized – the spark plugs are a bit black, so the motorcycle seems to run too fat. Don’t understand exactly what the cause is. Does anyone have another idea? Thank you very much am desperate.

  • KZ 400 J does not have the full power

Hello dear community, I bought me a Kawasaki KZ 400 J 2 weeks ago. At the beginning she almost didn’t run at all, just went out, just jerked and so on…was then in the workshop of my trust, and he then said it was on the carburetor or on the spark plugs. After a long time looking around he finally came on the spark plugs, of which 3/4 were then replaced, and the box ran like a lace-up, only at 6000 upm he has jerked again briefly. After that the motorcycle stood n few days, white l it got cold again, and when I started the machine afterwards, I had an absolute power loss, the motorcycle tortures itself just at 100 km/h. In addition, it just went out again and stuttered. Again in the workshop, the one after the tank (engine doesn’t get enough gasoline) and looked again after the carburettor. Some dirt in the carburettor, that’s it. Now you jump at least super, and it doesn’t go out, but the performance list remains. Why did it run d a few days really great, and now not at all? In the workshop they told me then, could a previous throttle, which was not removed to the right or is due to the porous membranes of the carburettor. But then why did not she have the power loss all the time??? Have the feeling that the man in the workshop can not help me any more effectively, therefore I ask you now. But I am quite a newcomer in the field. I hope you can Help me.
