  • Installation in it, but…

Moin! Installation is in it, but I don’t like it at all Still missing door insulation (have 6-8 mats still) and tomorrow still adjust everything, power amplifiers radio and so on. Hope we didn’t do anything wrong, so have an Eton PA 1054 and Sub (see signature), didn’t know exactly how we had to do this with the power amplifier and the bass. Did + – and +- from the Eton do in the four sockets of the sub, is that right? Wanted to chase bridges and 4 ohm with 660 watts into the sub. Hope you can me Did I do something wrong? Were 8 hours in the rain today…. So the question is if I connected the right thing, where you have to break like on the final stage, but the …. Sub has four exits. Use some help gruss OLLI (I’m fixed and ready) +400KM autobahn 😛

  • Audi rims (BBS) on VW Golf?

Hello. I have already searched the Internet and find, who had thought, numerous different answers. The following: We have bought a VW Golf VII Variant 1.4 TSI BlueMoution, BJ 2014, 125 hp (0603/BPK). Of course only with summer tyres. Of an Audi A3 we have BBS rims with winter tyres (KBA46418). In addition, BBS also has an expert report on the issue of ABE. Under certain conditions, which I do not understand, these are also allowed for a golf. The BBS rims are 6Jx16 ET50 with 205/55R16 tyres and a wheel load of 600kg. In the vehicle letter it now says that 6Jx16 with ET48 are allowed. There is nothing in it about the load capacity. A colleague said that you can do something with distance plates and longer screws and do a single acceptance at the TÜV. Would still be cheaper than new rims and tyres. Since I don’t know about this and I didn’t really understand this with the press-in depth, I would like to know if this 2mm press-in depth makes any difference? Whether you really need distance plates and above all (I have found nothing about that) whether the wheel load of 600kg is sufficient. I need a single pickup one way or another. Only with what means does it work? By the way: The VW dealer and BBS themselves only confirmed to me that the rims are not allowed to do so. No one has told me what to do to allow them. Thank you already!

  • Rusting and painting steel rims – with weight?

Moin an alle 🙂 Recently I am proud owner of a Mondeo MK3. Now is also the colder season and I would like to raise the winter tires, which are mounted on steel rims. Unfortunately, the really don’t look so great anymore and I have planned to paint them. In addition, I have already looked at some things to paint the steel rims and read through. The steel rims have weights inside as well as outside and before I can do this also a few Questions on.. Should I take off the weights first, what (so I think) is more obvious? These are all clamped weights.. how do I get them off (just like the rim is now)? After that I can clamp them again or do you have to take new weights? I posted a few pictures once.. Greetings Andy

  • Peugeot elyso 125 battery incorrectly bridged

Hello, I switched over when I bridged the battery with the starter cable plus and minus. Backups are complete. The control lights don’t turn on when the ignition is switched on – scooter doesn’t start either. Could the CDI be defective too? Thank you. Greetings Oli

  • Aprilia SR50 Motard cold start valve / eChoke

Hi, I’m looking for a cold start valve from the accessory market for an Aprilia Roller SR50 Motard METCA41 from 2018. Somehow I won’t really find it, at least I’m unsure. Carburetor is a Dellorto PHVA 17.5 and the cold star valve has the square plug. Can I just take any one out of the net or is there no 100% matching from the accessory at all? Thank you for your information.

  • sym roller carburetor

I got a little bit down SYM scooter totally cheap. It’s about a Jet 4 as 4 timer. I tried to get into, nothing. Carburettor dismantled, but that was so rotted, only garbage. I ordered a new one and built in. As far as everything is good. Once starter press, runs. First a little high-touring, then normal. If I gas, it swallows, but stays on. If the engine is a little warm, it always takes better gas, not optimal but turns higher. The problem, it squirts sc And that would be the problem where I don’t know what I can do. Spark plug is new.

  • TÜV and Americans!! For amusement!

Hey to everyone for the general short amusement before the weekend: I was recently with my 87er K5 (Fullsize) Blazer to the Tüv. They had something to complain about as always… Is just not an exhibition vehicle, but a “everyday vehicle” and also has Macks and rust stilts etc…. But the hammer was the lack “Speedometer” I got the completely standard speedometer, with KM and miles scale. The car is also in Germany in the past 8 years imm only THIS nice expert, didn’t let him get over it because: My speedometer only indicates up to 138 km/h, although in my papers a maximum speed of 152 km/h is registered!!!!!!! I asked him then if we should drive on the highway and he wants to show me how to drive by car 152 km/h, without fear of death (that’s why the box is garnet)…. But no, “considerable lack”, I should install another speedometer, d it shows up to 152… Well, everyone can think of the solution……to the Dekra, to whom this tells, with which together deliciously laugh about the TÜV-type and get the badge! A nice weekend for all of you and continue nitter- and bull-free ride!! Your Stevie

  • Beginner V8 for small money

Hello guys, I’m infected, I’m afraid. After my work colleague, who owns a 66 Mustang in honest condition 3, took me to his garage, I think about buying an Ami after me. A hall would also be available in the near future, and wants to be filled with life. My technical as well as artisanal skills lie, so I would at least estimate that in the upper middle field. So it fits. Most U.S. oldtimers who have H approval At least if they are in the honest state 3. Are there not also “underdogs”, which are not quite so popular but at least just as great!? My requirements would actually be either larger V6 or proper V8, H-admission capability, maximum 7,000 euros. I am looking forward to your answers, if there is such a thing. Greetings Englaender

  • Mustang GT Consulting

Hello I’m new here, …. so I’m going to go straight away ;-D: I’m about to get a 05’er,06’er or 07#er MUSTANG GT. So I’ve got a few questions that hopefully can be answered by some: 1. Who’s better the 05’er, the 06’er or the 07’er? 2. What’s the average insurance cost per year? 3. Can you get a “cruist” 9 liters / 100km? 4. What’s the automatic, (what’s the OVERDRIVE) or is the manual transmission better ( I tend to do this)? 5. What about the bonnet that should be set up during faster rides (fixed at the 07er?) 6. What about underbody protection? 7. What about the torque (is it easy to make a Willie)? 8. How reliable is your ‘Stang ? 9. How bumpy is the rigid axle? 10. Other reviews please …so I think that’s enough for the first time… xD THANK YOU TO ALL BEANTWORTER IN THE PREPARAUS !!!

  • UT plötzl. Standby gas drop, then ruched gas, then emergency prog.

Hello Schrauber-Riege! In Feb. my 2nd 11er Ute (Bj. 85, 62t km, after 20 years highway and min. 2+4 years garage stand) scratched and furnitured. (Lufti, oil from the Polo(Tip of Tec-Doc 3-4 years ago; DANK!)+Filter, tires, conversion to SB-Lenker, naked) Problem for a few days: after hot driving (city) the stand gas falls off like a truck from 800 u/min and engine dies (almost). Stand gas turned up again, continued: at the latest at the next red traffic light: stand gas at 1500-2000 u/min. constant too high: turning down will go out, as if 1-2 cylinders would not ignite any more. Danch involuntary gas acceptance, as if engine would ignite wrong (or not all ZK). But also not permanently. Especially in the upper speed range it will be better/good. Last message of my Ute: Emergency program then sets in and flashes me something of motor temperature sensor. Since then I left it standing. Had with my ’83 beside foot oil also constantly the DFI emergency program on, was not too bad wrestling. (Failure not to find – inability I admit!) I tried to make myself smart in the Kawa forum, but Mopped and Trouble seems to be quite special. everything I found useful was a thread, by the heat it was about the CDI. (?) Now I’m really informed by the same mistakes of both moppeds and my love is slowly turning into hate(-love!!!). Maybe who knows of you advice where to start, or has experience with similar bitches. LG from Graz, and with warm in advance
