Dear motor talker, for a few months now our Volvo C30 from 2007 permanently shows the error message “Stability control maintenance required. ABS works perfectly, but ESP of course no longer. Driving is so no problem, because power is full, but the Tüv will be less enthusiastic about it. I had the error codes read out in a Volvo workshop with the following result: BCM-0090 lateral accelerometer faulty signal – error code is actively ahead of DDM-8003 mirror heating power undercalculation or short circuit to the voltage source – error code is not actively ahead of PAM-E010 power supply too high voltage difference – error code is not actively ahead of SWM-0201 steering wheel angle sensor Faulty signal – error code is not actively available. The workshop would now want to replace the trans-acceleration sensor and this costs Pi times thumb 600 Euro without success guarantee. Therefore my questions: Does someone have the parts number of the sensor and can tell me where he is sitting (possibly under the passenger seat?). Would then try to get a spare part from the scrap and install this. Can there also be a connection with the steering wheel angle?

Right drive shaft middle bearing/support bearing
In April there is a bigger rep. On my V70/1 bj98 Mj99. Since the right drive shaft has to be out, I want to change the middle bearing. NOT the inner or outer joint, but the bearing which is held with a blast ring on the long shaft! Skandix does not spit out a suitable over the fin ! In the Volvopower and Volvoforum yet no answer ! I puffed up the spare part number. Even better would be the bearing size or the bearing number ! Will certainly not be a specially made for Volvo warehouse ! I can get cheaper to good stock over my operation ! Need a number or the size ! With a picture !

Loud indoor noise/additional insulation
Halllo together, for some time now I feel the noise level in the interior of my V70 II D5 Mj 08 on my favorite highway track as disturbingly loud. Can you do something here with an additional insulation? Last time I drove a Toyota Avensis Diesel on the same track – it was clear (whistle-) quiet. Does anyone have experience with driving noise reduction? Rejoice me over answers. A good week all

Demand for airback (baby)
Hello, I own an Opel Omega B Caravan with CD equipment, BJ 1998 with 111000KM and automatic transmission, engine is 2.0 16v. I just wanted to ask because my wife is released in 2 months and a baby is waiting if I have to pay attention to anything in the car. Volvo V60 – mature inside downhill
Hello together When I switched to the winter tyres, I noticed that the summer tyres at the front went down to the wire. On the right and left the same picture, and only after about 11000 km. See pictures. The rear tyres are as good as new. My Volvo dealer said I was most likely driven over a curb. And the steering geometry was adjusted. Now the steering geometry (Sturz?) was adjusted and I have to buy 2 new summer tyres. What I find funny is that there was the same problem on the left and right. In March I changed from 16 inch winter to 18 inch summer wheels: original Volvo Magni rims with 4 new tires Dunlop Sport Maxx RT2 MFS 235/40 ZR18 95Y. The assembly was carried out at Volvo including the steering impact limiter. Since that is the turning circle as with a truck, but that’s another topic. What do you think about this? Could there be a connection with the assembly of the steering impact limiter? (Volvo D604, 2015, 118000 km)

850 GLT Built 06.1992 Only driver door opens / closes
I’m sure there is already the topic, but I don’t find it. I just bought a 850 sedan. Unfortunately, only the driver’s door opens and closes with the bowl. I have to open all the other doors from the inside. I think the remote control doesn’t have it anyway. Is the central locking electric or pneumatic? Ah battery
After two three years I have now apparently skyrocketed my battery Varta Dynamic Blue 60 Ah by releasing the glove compartment ?? My question how much Ah and cold current should the battery have V70 103Kw Bj99 gasoline? At Varta I find which with 74Ah mine had only 60 Ah -can be that I have installed after the first the ca 17 years held the wrong one ? Can the light mesh of the V70 1 charge both 60 and 74/78 Ah ? Or does each only the light mesh fit to the right battery ? Where can I find which battery fits the V70 103KW ?
