  • 525i vs E350 vs C350 – current costs

Hello, I want to buy my first car soon. For this I have a budget of 30,000 euros. However, I want to spend only about 25,000 euros of this, so that I can cover the costs of any repairs or other things easily. My father and I have been discussing for a month now what kind of car it should be. He thinks of BMW (since he has been driving exclusively BMW and he has been working there for more than 30 years -> discount on repairs), I think of Merc edes. But I don’t want to make my car dependent on the discount. He suggested me a 525i BJ 08, I have each picked out a C 350 BJ 10 and E 350 BJ 10. I know that these are completely different vehicles. Unfortunately, we both have different ideas My annual mileage is about 9,000 to 10,000 kilometers. The insurance costs, petrol costs and the tax I already know: Insurance: 100 – 120 Euro/month; depending on the car petrol : 125 Euro/month tax: ~200 Euro/year For inspections and repairs of the two Mercedes I would have expected now about 150 Euro/month, i.e. about 1800 Euro/year. At the BMW I would put it a little lower due to the discount. So about 1600 Euro/year. Unfortunately, one can never say exactly. I would only be interested in which price range I would have to adjust approximately. Personally, I would say that both estimates are a little too high. However, i It would be no problem for me to stop by for minor repairs at a local workshop. There we had our 7s repaired several times and so far everything has always been 1a. I hope you can help me! Another nice evening! Sincerely!

  • Help, have to buy “new” motorcycle!

Hello, must / may buy me a used moped. I’m old XJ – driver, but wants something different. Moped is driven daily (Cologne), all year round… (except in snow), but I’m not fixed on Yamaha, may be something else. Should have over 80 hp, I’m used to 98 (XJ 900), does not have to be a road machine, does Enduro? Achja, 350€ should be enough. I’m grateful for every tip!

  • Motorcycle sale – registered, without license plates – registration/registration request

So I’m trying briefly: My 125s will be picked up tomorrow. It’s still registered, I keep the registration number because it’s a desired number. The buyer gets everything that belongs to it, of course. In a week the new machine comes – this should then be registered or re-registered on my desired number of 125s. Now my questions are: Can the buyer of my 125s unsubscribe with the papers, but without the registration number? Or can he then only re-allow it? The buyer doesn’t come from the same city. Otherwise it would be easy… And if I didn’t WE would just sign them off for safety. If my planning didn’t go, what would you suggest?!? Should he take my license plate and sign it off? (signs back to me by post) Or should I give him the machine without papers (I’ll go off on Monday). Or is there any other way? Thank you!

  • Experience with Polo

Moin and happy restosters together, I bought a new jacket from Spirit Motors last year at Polo. Heisst UK Classic. After about a quarter of a year I rated the jacket twice on the HP by Polo. It was not unlocked at the time. Now I rated the jacket again on 30.03.2013. In the meantime there was already another rating. But this was in contrast to mine, positive. Today I wanted to check if my rating is already in and…… the jacket is completely out of the HP! Is it censored??? Have you already rated something or have you had any experiences?

  • In the beginning, unlimited?

Hello, after 10 years of accident-free driving I will make my mople ticket here in England this summer. Since I am old enough, I can also do the unlimited, before that I already made my CBT (compulsory basic training) for motor bikes up to 125 ccm; with which I can drive for two years. I would like to drive already a 650ccm to Scotland and Italy, but I have quite great respect (certainly not afraid!) for the power/weight relation and ask myself whether it makes sense to have such a jock. A friend of mine also made the “Direct Access” and is therefore gurgled throughout Europe, but there is still the middle way from A2 to 34 HP. My question: I am now between 125ers, A2 and unobstructed FS back and forth, of course also the costs play a bit, but more the safety. What do you suggest to me? I definitely want to travel, still the moppel must come well through the London city traffic n. I doubt you can travel stress-free with a 125er, but if I do the A2, can I do all this on a 34hp machine, gain experience and have my fun? Thanks for your answers, DJ

  • What to think of cheap torque wrenches?

I’m looking at the moment because of a torque wrench and I came across quite cheap/cheap offers like for example:http://cgi.ebay.de/…3186QQQihZ001QQcategoryZ84236QQrdZ1QcmdZViewItem Can you buy something like this?I’m quite skeptical because I don’t want the thing to turn around quite quickly (is that possible?) and I’m getting a screw off or something. What I don’t understand is that you have to pay over 150€ at proxxon around the same range. and here there are no 20 greetings Tobi

  • Why are motorcyclists overlooked?

Again and again I hear or read about accidents in which motorcyclists have been overlooked. see also here I have simply observed the road traffic carefully and analyzed potentially dangerous situations. I think the usual explanations like e.g. speed underestimated or not seen because are certainly too small the cause of many accidents! What is more and more noticeable to me lately is the limitation of the field of view of the car drivers by some Elche Cheap navigation devices from Aldi or similar which stick to the disc, next to it an organizer with notepad and maybe a mobile phone – from the mirror dangles then still some childish tand (especially with women/girls and kiddies popular). One should bear in mind that a motorcycle and driver in 20 meters distance can already be completely covered by a finger-sized object in the sight area of the driver! Just try it out! – Motorcyclists 100 km/h on the front road – it is overlooked in 25 meters distance = despite absolutely great reaction time of 0.7 seconds = impact with almost 100km/h Take a look around on the road, acquaintances and in your own car… Greeting Ben

  • Fun car for 2-3 months

Hi, me and another college are both 19 and 18 and we wanted to get a car for a few months in the winter, our parents have cars that we also use but you have to ride the gently, I hope you understand what I mean.
