  • Opel Adam used cars

Hi together, the following topic concerns me : have found a 2017 Opel Adam, 87ps, 96,000km driven, 3pre-owned. Dealer called, vehicle should cost 7,900€, made an appointment for sightseeing & trial drive. Come on and it was a gravel place dealer on’m backyard without real office or similar. So did not want to have any prejudices so first look.Visiting was so first everything top. Nice equipment, clean etc. bumper was renewed and bit of what lac But the dealer says “smaller scratchers” without an accident. Suddenly we come to the price, says he should cost 8,900€, he had bought the car a long time ago and confused the price. OK! 1000€ more! He said he goes down to 8,500€ because of the mistake. Was of course still more than thought but ok. Then we wanted to make a test drive says he’s not going to have red plates yet. Then I approached him on a used car check, would be ok. Näc The test drive was good all top. Then as I said, we wanted to check out said the employee ne I have to ask the boss. So first 20min rumtekefoniert although that was already agreed with the boss before. Come back and say boss doesn’t want this today. It’s carnival and so now you don’t drive into the city today. OK? I thought no mclaren what should happen with the car no idea quite funny. Then he says yes we know someone at the Dekra then he does the check. I didn’t think ok. Someone should do that neutral. Not some friend of mine who doesn’t evaluate neutrally then. Then he said ok but only on Tuesday (today). Whole 3 days later than agreed. Today I call and he thinks the car is already gone. I find it all very funny or? I thought the car was / is not accident-free (vlt. driving accident or backwards somewhere got) and I have that felt like he just wanted to delay it because the check would have come out what we should not know. Strange. For me was/is clear from the beginning I don’t buy without a used car check. What do you think of the whole thing? LG

  • Transfer cables from the battery to the engine compartment

Hello, does anyone have experience how to get a cable from the battery from the Arona best into the vehicle? I would like to install a power amplifier and an active subwoofer and look for an easy way into the vehicle. Has anyone done anything or a good tip?

  • Assessments

I’ve been in the forum since ötutes What’s partly written here, meckert, mowed, overdoing and so on is hair-raising! First I want to share my experiences I’ve had a FR Tarraco Hybrid full equipment since 2.7.2021 !Delivery time 11 weeks ! I’ve been driving 10000km till now I’ve got zero problems. Everything works Even the electric seat adjustment for my wife and me. It adjusts according to the size of the person and with the programmed key Navi and other accessories work great! Now to the voices, moods what goes on here tens of thousands of Tarraccos have already been handed over to the customers, but there is only a small percentage to Nörgler, Meckerer, would-be-wisser Unlearnable and so on. What you need: A vehicle that drives from A to B. A Navi , electricity, gasoline or diesel. And very important a safe vehicle. What you don’t need: lots of frills. Vehicle depth, filming, etc. AND BEFORE ALL CONSUMPTION MAN NO BOY IN THE VEHICLE You should enjoy the vehicle and never ignore the traffic And remember, we all live on this big planet in a country like paradise. What more do you want??? My predecessor vehicle was a GLC 250d 75000€ which cost me. My Tarraco is around 3000€ cheaper And I can only say that I am completely satisfied with the now. Price performance is right. Mfg Günther

  • Driving profile choice (Eco) in general

Hello, who can explain to me what technical differences arise when choosing Eco gg normal or Snow? The guide writes 3 sentences that you save with Eco Sprot for example…haha… don’t find any details. U.A. happens when turning on eco the instant deactivation of start/stop and display becomes darker. No idea what else and what happens with other modes. Maybe there is an official overview or someone can explain that? Also, according to the instructions, should each engine ustart resette the driving profile selection to “normal”. With me, the one in Eco stays when I last had Eco (so the guide is not correct?) Hope for information and discussion

  • 2 years of Tarraco 1.5: experience report

Moin, after 2 years and 22 tkm with our Tarraco the conclusion in advance: Lots of car for little money. In detail: For our family (2 adults, 2 kids 10 and 1) more than enough space. Seats and sitting position are very pleasant, the trunk spacious, the workmanship and the material appearance for this price range absolutely in order. The doors open wide, child seats can be easily mounted. The Tarraco is very clear for its size, PDC and camera as well as the assistance systems preserve We live in the lowlands and drive the Seat primarily in the city and suburb. The 150 hp are sufficient to be on the move. Driving and noise comfort are good. On the motorway the Tarraco loses its restraint from about 150 km/h and becomes louder, but still tolerable. This is not a big problem anyway, because the tunneling is not easy. less than € 9000.- gross leasing rates for three years at 45 tkm total mileage. Maintenance so far: An oil change. Fuel consumption: less than 8 liters/100 km, on the highway around the 7 liters, highway around the 10 liters (but very fast). 45 tkm of ours are full costs (leasing, tax, insurance, fuel, maintenance) of exactly 33 cents per kilometer. PHEV would be even cheaper (approx. € 3000.-) and if the battery is used more frequently, I also expect lower costs per 100 km. Calculatorically, it would have to be about 28 cents per kilometer. I consider both the 33 and 28 cents per kilometer to be extremely low if one takes into account that this is a new car with guarantee, modern technology, current safety systems and plenty of space. If I were my brother or my best friend, I would be din recommend a Tarraco? Definitely. That’s why the seat is not “delivered” at the end of the runtime, but simply replaced with a PHEV. Have fun driving, Philipp

  • Gear ratio 1.5 TSI

Question, who has the technical data for transmission transmission?

  • General question on (brain) Tuning

Hello Saab driver, I have had a Saab for some time now. Not that the engine would be too small, but such a proper HirschTuning for a birthday would not be bad. But I have not had the opportunity to inform about it lately (for the purpose of building a house). So my questions to the tuning experts among you: Can you install this control unit T7 yourself? Changes in the insurance classification of the vehicle? Has anyone ever done this with a 2.0 LPT with 150hp? We nn yes what was the result? (consumption, starting weakness, rideability…) If anyone else is interested, I have a 9-3, built 2001, 150hp, but am currently very satisfied with the feed constant of the Saab. BG Andreas PS: Have been reading the forum for some time and find it great

  • Stainless steel (brain performance)

A colleague of mine installed a stainless steel system at his Hondas S2000. He thinks the car is running better… anyway… think it makes sense to replace the original Saab 9-5 Aero exhaust with a stainless steel tube from Hirsch? The car runs with its 250hp very satisfied in the medium and higher speed range, however, could be a little more power there. Do you think such a system could do something? Can this be stated in PS? Thanks

  • Diesel up to 17.000€

Hi people, since I (20 years old) want to buy me a car in about 4 months and am currently totally unreliable about it, I thought to myself that I will get a few suggestions from you ! So I’m looking in the frame : – Diesel , since min.20.000-25.000km a year – min 140hp – max 110.000km – Xenon is a must – manual gearbox – NO small car ; from “golf size” up – auxiliary heating would be nice , no need (can you also retrofit) Currently I tend rather to the Pas sat CC, however, that does not convince me to 100%.. I’m curious what you have for ideas! Thank you already! MfG Simon2701

  • Accident with mobile phone in hand – comprehensive damage?

Hello! A few days ago something very stupid happened to me. When I tried to put my cell phone (on but with locked keys) in the compartment in the center console so that you can look at the reception display during the further drive, I drove right against the guardrail. According to the workshop the damage is about 1500€, so I would like to handle the damage via the comprehensive insurance. I wonder if the insurance possibly rejects because of the involved cell phone. What do you think about this? Have you already had experiences with similar cases. I hope and don’t think, because I didn’t call, the cell phone didn’t ring, I didn’t press a button and this could have happened with any other object, e.g. placing thermometers or other. Thanks for your answers in advance! Greetings Markus, annoyed about this stupidity 🙂
