…. do not work with my user. Land always on “page not found”. Problem exists for a long time and occurs with all computers (MAC, Windows, @home, @work, with friends). Seems to lie on my user (too old?). With other users on the same computer it works. What goes wrong with my user?

Ignoring list allowed in the signature?
Hello people! I’ve been seeing the ignore list in my signature for a few months now, so that the people concerned know that it’s pointless to write to me. I’ve already seen people who have been ignored trying to write with me in threads again and again… Today I got a PN from a moderator: Quote: Hello BirgerS, please change your signature and delete the part with “ignore” and the associated user name. That’s not a good thing here. I want the signa to be deleted. greeting ****** MT-Moderation So I am supposed to remove this and I have been given an ultimatum and no idea what happens if I don’t do it… If this is generally forbidden at MT, which is in the terms and conditions, or anywhere else, then I will delete it! But I don’t find anything to do with it! I don’t want to delete it just because it doesn’t like a single person and this is a person moderator and therefore exert pressure. I would have liked to have clarified that. Thank you! VG Birger

Does it really make sense to blow the engine right through every once in a while?
Hello. Since driving is becoming more and more popular and I can’t avoid the trend for financial reasons, I asked myself if it is healthy for the car, if you always only shrug relatively low-touring through the area? I had a test drive at a car house a year ago in a retired car (so advertised) with a 145 hp engine that felt like 90. The engines rusted at some point if you don’t give a little gas in between. d scares once a week with vmax over the AB?# Greeting sumerum

Invoice for spare parts
Hello, my car is just in the workshop. It did not pass the TÜV and a new catalyst had to be installed. In addition, a few other things have to be replaced. Can I ask for the catalyst, among other things, the original invoice regarding warranty and proof, which and that a new catalyst was installed? As I will probably sell the car soon, that would be advantageous if I could prove it. Or can you only get the invoice of the workshop incl. the work and on their work including the newly installed parts there is the guarantee? For the replacement of the catalyst incl. the analysis in advance, 680€ are calculated. Are the costs significantly too high or ok? Greeting Homer

Possibility of a tyre with perfect working temperature
I am currently often thinking about which possibilities would probably arise if a car tyre would always be at operating temperature. Just as a thought experiment, if you always have 80 degrees in the tire, a car should be able to change from the beginning. A car with engine power beyond the 300 KW only on the front axle is, for example, in cold tyres/cold weather/wet road virtually not extendable, even at well over 100 km/h, that should be drastically changed n. Probably the wear would rise significantly or? Some of you really wear much wider tyres (as OEM) for optical reasons (e.g. RWB, Libertywalk etc.) and achieve massively worse lap times, by a very low tire temperature I suppose, would the times to OEM greatly improve? The 0-100 times of each car are also extremely dependent on the temperature in the tire (e.g. New 911 Carrera S 4.6s with cold tyres and 3.6 sbei warm) , if you now if you would always have warm tyres, you should be able to retrieve significantly higher torques and performance even with the same tyre size without having to regulate the car against it. I’m happy about every input on the subject, it just interests me. Stupid comments about this can be kept. If only it would be easy to assess how much the wish would be and what a compromise would be made for it. And that it would need extremely much heat power I can use i well imagine, the cooling by the wind, etc. are certainly not optimal conditions for heating up.

AU did not pass… CO and Lambda too high
Hello, what does it point out if Lambda and CO are a bit too high? Is a Chrysler 300M 2.7 V6 12/2003 for 10 years with LPG gas system, mileage 223,000km of which about 100,000 on gas. Otherwise find only old contributions to Lambda lower and CO too high but nothing too high. The KATs were checked by endoscope for visible damage, both ok. The certificate shows that the two Vot-Kat probes are ok, right? I understand correctly that Bank 2 with 0.9mV more, Is it also clear that the after-cat probes (monitor probes) are also in order?

1.5 dci cold start restless speed variation
Vehicle Renault Megane Grandtour, BJ 2013, 1.5dci 110ps, 151,000km. It starts again, despite the replacement of the injectors it starts again this year. The video is only an example because I usually don’t have my mobile phone at hand and the phenomenon is not quite as strong at the moment. https://youtu.be/5M-ajmq8eXE No error in the error memory. The problem is only a short time, after about 2-5 minutes it runs perfectly. In the network it is called normal behavior for a 1.5dci. I am not satisfied. The following would fit well (excerpt from the forum) : With very low fuel injection quantities smaller about 4 mg (in thrust) it is necessary that the rail pressure regulator controls some fuel from the high-pressure system. The reason is that the high-pressure pump is not zero transportable. This means that the high-pressure pump also promotes fuel into the high-pressure system when the volume control valve is closed. This would result in too high rail pressure and therefore too high The control types are active in the following operating points: At engine start: The pressure control is always active. If the engine is running: If the coolant temperature is below 1 °C, the pressure control is always active. If the coolant temperature exceeds 15 °C, the combined control is always active. So in my case, a defect pressure control valve on the rail could be responsible? On suspicion, I would not like to exchange, since it costs approx. 100-1300€.

How does a VDU react to high speed changes from Neutral to D?
In the series Knight Rider is often driven backwards to the road by the driving truck. I assume that the automatic transmission of the car is switched backwards, enough speed is made to drive out. When rolling backwards, it is then switched in Neutral until the car touches the road and then switched into Automatic. How would a modern DSG react here (concrete DQ250)? Until switching in Neutral it is no problem. After that the car has with DQ250 yes pl 80-100 km/h, but the DSG was in reverse and neutral. What happens when you switch to D? Can something break with the DSG? Can it turn off? (In a social circle you get on stupid topics….)

Hi, I have a question, and this is what happened: last summer, so from 3/4 year I sat in the car with a buddy, and wanted to open the sliding thought (crazy saab) with it slightly cracked, and since then it has hung something when opening. I guess there is a little plastic clip aborted. He has since skilfully ignored that, I told him then also that he should look what is, that we ma drive into the workshop or something, but he never did. Vo r 2 months we were still with his car on vacation, and made jokes about it on the ride. Today he registers himself per icq and says that the clamps that are broken off yes pig would be expensive that would have to import the workshop from sweden, and there would have been even n cable broken, because I would have dragged with all the wall at the thing. Anyway the reperatur would be very expensive. and the car is probably already in the workshop. I really didn’t get stuck at that time ogen, I would never be able to do anything I don’t know. I was surprised at that time that with so little power what happened. Of that 1000% no cable broke. The workshop probably says that they had never seen anything like that, there would be a need in the window. Of course he didn’t spare the skylight, but made n 3/4 year further by hand and electric on/to. I bet that’s how it got there. Now the real question: can he tell me about it? even after such a long time? and can he just slam me the bill in the table, or should he first have a cost estimate made. to the background: his father owns a Saab car house with workshop, so he usually has everything done for him. humanly it is anyway …well, I better not say it!

Problems with my Vectra 1.6 16V
My Vectra recently gave strong engine noise. The contract workshop then informed me that the timing belt is about to dissolve. In addition, the water pump would have to be replaced. Finally, I was told that there is no longer a culant in this case. Now my question: – Can this happen after a mileage of 41000 km and a runtime of 3 1/2 years already? – What about the test intervals of 120 tkm? By the way: My car will no longer be r serviced in the contract workshop and repaired all defective things there as well. Can someone give me here some tips on how to augument myself to the plant ?? First of all thank you for this.
