  • Fuel consumption of motorcycles contemporary?

A non-overmotorized average motorcycle like a Bandit 650 with 78 hp needs 100 km between 5 and 7 liters Super with an unladen weight of less than 250 kg. With my car I need between five and six liters Super. However, this is more than 4x so heavy and large and has significantly more engine capacity and 40 hp more power. A current BMW 320i has a standard consumption of 5.3 liters with the five times the weight and more than twice the power. I have the impression that the efficiency of motorcycle engines was stuck in the 70s and no manufacturer is thinking about changing anything. Something is not really right with motorcycles in terms of consumption. I think it’s necessary to say that. Am I the only one who finds it wrong? Is there a problem with motorcycles in terms of consumption?

  • Formula 1 Boliden from yesterday to today

Hello F1 Freaks, it doesn’t seem so easy to find pictures of the beautiful older Formula 1 cars. Don’t you want to join us and create a picture gallery of old and of course also new vehicles and events in Formula 1!? It would be nice if the name of the vehicle were included in the article. But if someone doesn’t know what it is, there will surely be someone who knows about it. I’m setting a link to life here. Idols in order to have an attunement to the topic. http://www.ayrton-senna.com/s-files/sf_video/2000.html Have fun and say hi Jo

  • Abortion of race justified?

The first race brings the first big discussion: Already in the past season, start collisions by the racecomissars have been solved several times dubiously with a Safetycar phase. Also this year in the first race, in a mass accident with many involved. How did you see the situation? Did you think this was the correct decision, or did the audience get around the excitement in an otherwise rather uninteresting race?

  • Spark plugs 650i

Moin you love, my fatter has now 66.6k km and wanted to ask quite nicely which spark plugs I need for the E63 650i from 2009. I found at ebay NGK 8 stk in set, have data balanced ebay has given green light. Nevertheless, there is so small bitsl paranoid and rather ask again. • LED headlights aged or defective?

Hello, today I noticed that my right LED headlight throws visible “boxes” on walls and is also a little darker than the left. In the appendix a picture where you can see it clearly. Is the headlight aged and may cause a defect? Year of the car is December 2012. Does anyone want to photograph the photo of their LED headlights as well so that I have a comparison?

  • Eyes on when buying eggs ( Audi Coupé)?

Hello, I would like to buy a new car in the next few weeks and stopped at the Audi Coupé.. Price should be 250€ the top limit.. What I wanted to know about you, however.. What can I demand for the money at all and what should I pay attention to when buying? Are there possible model-specific flaws with the car? Or what should I pay attention to especially with the car, chassis and drive. And again a more general question.. Old cars now have more or weni Is it possible to buy a coupe, for example 2.3, if it has 200000+ km down? Or do I risk an engine damage or similar soon. MfG Alex

  • Twenty-five more…

Thanks to the reintroduction of the old registration marks, completely new possibilities have emerged in terms of desired registration marks – the selection was suddenly huge again! Here in the circle there are currently 25 (!) registration marks with a letter and a number, among them combinations for motorists (which these combinations may also have thanks to the small motorcycle signs!) such as – X 5 or – X 6 or – i 8 for BMW drivers and other combinations suitable for car models. e me also for the next registrations send short numbers reserved (right, a few minutes ago there were still more than 25 combinations in length or better short…). I probably only need these from autumn, but a combination with circle – letter number is nice to look at, isn’t it? Since you can now – at least here – book online for one year, you should think about the next vehicle change at times, if your own number does not really like… Greeting Michael

  • First car

Hi I will soon have the driver’s license and of course I would like to get my own car. I am 18, female and still a student. But the car would finance my parents, so I have a room for 10-12500€. I like the mini or the Fiat 500…as well as so typical women’s cars! How to classify the ones in the insurance (would the car of course register on mom or dad) and what else is there for models that are completely cheaper and also beautiful and si are (for a small car)? Convertible would also be great, but not very necessary since we own a clk convertible that I should use if not too expensive. Also a big car is in the garage with the E-Class… is really only missing my small car! Since I have to drive for school etc often highway would be some performance also not bad. Thanks already for your help! 🙂 LG Lisa Lisa

  • Stupid traffic light – Who is responsible for this?

So slowly but surely the patience thread tears me.. Who is responsible for the traffic lights in Germany, who has this nonsense out of the brain? On every way in the morning to work back to and in the evening back turn certain traffic lights absolutely GRUNDLOS on red. Furthermore, regular whole car colonies of 80km/h are slowed down senselessly to let a car drive, which otherwise could easily be plugged into any gap. At some traffic lights without A. Oncoming traffic has 20 seconds more green than the other, in addition, I wonder what sense it makes pedestrian lights to give longer green than car traffic!? A “green wave” is now a foreign word anyway, just as the idea to switch off certain traffic lights at night, because they simply make sense due to the changed traffic volume NULL. Who only makes this stupid planning.. are the municipalities themselves responsible, or is the country matter? This is not the solution. On the one hand, questionable environmental zones are being built, on the other, traffic is being conducted so asynchronously through the city that additional emissions are being produced meaninglessly by means of constant acceleration. Annoyed greetings
