  • Question about panoramic roof and radio + climate at Laguna 3

Hello together, I got my Laguna 3 Grandtour Gt this week. However, I noticed a few peculiarities and I wanted to ask if these are normal: – Panorama roof opens and excludes only at engine run and not already at ignition – air conditioning is sporatically off when I start the engine – also (at the same time to the above mentioned error) the buffered transmitters and the audio settings are discarded. In addition, to the tested mode is to me l, which actually has only a different color and no panoramic roof, noticed that the skilful additional flap in the loading floor, as well as the spectacle holder on the driver’s side instead of the handle, is not available. Are the errors well known and there are remedies or do I have to bring my car back to the workshop after 3 days??? Thank you Greetings from the sunny south Thomas

  • J.D. Power 2010 – Laguna III

Hello Laguna III Driver, don’t be disappointed if the Laguna III will not be at the top of his class in Germany this year. In England he landed this year in second last place in his class (11/12) and in France as third last of his class (5/7). Mogeln (J.D. Power 2010) just has short legs…… Always good drive. Your Poloman.

  • Buying a car……Renault Laguna 2 or Peugot 407

Hello, at the moment I drive a Laguna 1 Grandtour, 11years old. Since I need the car now daily and the car already has some defects I wanted to buy another used one now. Budget max. 10000,-Euro. Now I like the following models of the optical quite well…. Peugeot 407 or Renault Laguna 2. Both as a combi, I am not yet clear about the motorization, however, should be a diesel with a Russian filter and a little over 100hp I think. Which engines n can be recommended? Well my question, are there any defects/weaknesses in these models what you have to pay attention to? Which car might be more recommended? Thanks for your tips….. Lars

  • G350 BT motor control light (yellow) repeatedly on!

Hello everybody! My G350BT will be 3 years old next month, I recently had the current 60,000 KD made. Last week the yellow engine control light went on, but I noticed no restrictions when driving. According to the manual it could be something with the “speed sensor”. I called the workshop and then left the car right there. In the evening came the call “sensors have to be changed, the coming tomorrow”. Obviously also in the workshop in the operating handbuc h looked, yellow people = speed sensors exchange. The next day I got the G back. Two days he drove without a yellow indicator light, today, on the trip to work after about 3 km, again the yellow indicator light. Again no restriction at the performance. MB called, “they bring the vehicle by”. As I know MB, from painful experience between 2000 and 2003 with my convertible, now the game “we just exchange everything that can be exchanged” probably goes off again. O I am too pessimistic? It stinks to me that from tonight I can drive A class again or some kind of crap that I would never voluntarily put myself in. I have already announced that no matter what they offer me as a replacement car, cement bags are transported either on my trailer or in the back seat on the weekend. Maybe tonight there is a transporter on the yard. Does someone have a goal-oriented idea why the yellow control light so without it is eim Driving noticed (Tempomat works, Tacho works, rev counter works), is it? Greetings OpenAirFan

  • FAQ is not used – font too small?

Now in many subforums FAQs have been set up, which were created by a few volunteers (e.g. me) with a lot of love. Nevertheless, the same topics constantly appear again for the drölften time. Currently quite popular: The mostly defective thermostat… I asked once a bit in the colleagues and friends circle and got my guess confirmed: No one uses the FAQ, because it simply no human being noticed. Is also no wonder, if I were here for the first time, I would suspect it The big yellow button “New Topic” stands in the eye and is used in a lively way. Couldn’t you perhaps make the FAQ a bit more conspicuous? For example, put the text in yellow or in a conspicuous frame (the present one is simply “grey” and inconspicuous), a few points larger and fat? That would be little effort with probably great effect. It drives me (and many other FAQ authors probably also ) in the despair that her work is constantly overlooked and must be referred to the FAQ for the drölfte times. Greetings Frank

  • Question to Tom Kedor: Which manufacturers listen or are active?

Excerpt from an interview with Tom Kedor (Managing Director of MOTOR-TALK): “F: How will Motor-Talk.de develop in 2010 in order to meet these trends and maintain its leading position? A: Kedor: Essentially, there are three exciting challenges for 2010. First of all, we would like to strive for more dialogue. At MOTOR-TALK.de, drivers talk about every little zipper of their cars. Manufacturers are listening to some of them, but most of them still keep up with the discussions. s. Our experience is that almost everything is forgiven by enthusiastic car lovers, except ignorance. As a “natural meeting room”, we want to move many more car brands to join in.” Hi Tom, the interview has now been 6 months ago. Has something developed in the matter? Which manufacturers are really active at MT? Maybe VOLVO is already among them? Have you ever thought of explaining exactly and plausibly to the manufacturers If you need help: more than 1.6 million unique visitors are behind you !!! • Cracks and crackles Interior driver’s side

All those who have noticed crackling noises in their EQE or EQS from the direction of the dashboard or / and driver’s door and have an explanation for it. In any forum post I read about it, but I can’t find it again using the search function. At first I didn’t notice any noise in the interior, probably none were there either. But now, when the car is cold, it crackles and crunches from the left dashboard side or / and from the driver’s door panel (see bi ld). After a while it stops, believe if the car is warm. I tried to push here and there during the ride, or even plug the tempos into cracks, in order to get the sounds on the track, but unsuccessfully. The workshop can (or does) not help either because the twitches only with the shoulders, as if they had never heard of it (do not believe that I am the only one, but this behavior is such a well-known tactic). (approx. 40 km) the car is warm and the noises are gone. I noticed the noises of crackers and knarz only after I picked up the car from a MB branch, to which the plant in Bremen had sent 3 fitters for 3 days to free my car from any remaining defects, with which the car was handed over to me when picking up in Bremen. This also included the armrest exchange in the driver’s door. I have to add to “failed” defects that it has already been in the workshop of my dealer was where a new roof sky was missed, for which also the rear window had to be removed (the delivered sky had a 3 cm long crack) and the A-pillar covering on the driver’s side was removed and reassembled, because a metal clip stood out from the joint to the dashboard -see picture-). But that cannot be the cause of the noises, because after that there was no notice.

  • Vibration from 70 km/h on EQS SUV – normal or problem?

Hello everybody, I picked up my EQS SUV (new car, but from the dump) today and I drove the first kilometers. I noticed that the vehicle starts to vibrate from about 70 km/h and somehow drives unround. You can feel that not only on the steering wheel, but also as a passenger it is quite unpleasant. The car is on the 22-inch rims, and according to the dealer the tyres were weighed again before delivery. Nevertheless, it does not feel like everything runs d runs. Now I ask myself: – Could this still be due to an imbalance of the tires, despite force? – Is this with the EQS SUV “normal” because of the large wheels and the chassis? – Could it be a stand because the car has stood for a long time? – Or maybe a problem with the chassis or drive? Does anyone have similar experiences or an idea where this could come from? I would hate to run directly back into the workshop if it is perhaps a well-known thing. Thanks already ma I for your estimations!

  • Are summer tires already on?

Hello guys, I’m starting to wonder if the WInter will ever come again …. Here it’s almost 15 degrees warm every day and my expensive winter tires don’t go down like nothing! Do you think you can already risk to upgrade to summer or does winter come again with real snow?!
