  • Battery Difficulties

    hello, today my car didn’t jump on, battery was apparently empty. after the start aid everything went without any problems. I drove 30km again today so that the battery recharges a bit, consumers I spent all the time except light. in the last days I hardly drove just short distance and last we had just turned up my system while cleaning the car for a long time. vllt that gave her the rest. isz the battery now on the ass and must be replaced or can this happen already? the car now runs without any problems. PS: yesterday evening the car was still starting this morning funny white no more. Since the start help my final stage of the subwoofer does not work anymore why do I know net, the big fuse on the battery + is burned. Would be grateful about answers. mfg

  • Short distances with Antara and gets hot??

    Hello, I have found this forum after a search on the internet and have a question about my new Antara. I have been driving a new Antara 2.2 cdti with 184 hp in crystal white since July. A beautiful car and I am very in love. The following problem occurs however, I was already with the friendly one, but unfortunately it did not take me seriously. After short distances (from about 2 km drive distance) and very low temperatures after the engine is on display the additional fan. At that time, I didn’t drive fast, nor did I drive far or it was hot. Air conditioning is also off. I was with my dealer, he played a new software and he wanted to tell me that was due to the air conditioning??!!?? But that was definitely off. I also stood shcon at very hot temperatures in July on the AB in the traffic jam, with climate on full strength and there was nothing. So no fan (not while the running engine or when the engine is off). went now for a time without the additional fan, now it is again since yesterday. I drove 8 km, it was outside 17 degrees (Do you know the problem, I can not imagine that this should be “normal”, as my dealer explained to me. Thank you already for your help Silke

  • Questions about kerb automatic & start with AppleWatch/iPhone

    Hello everybody, Is there a way to adjust the passenger exterior mirror individually in inclination in the kerb automatic? In my 840s there is only the possibility between “out of the extreme angle of inclination”. I know a little different in the E89/E9x series; as better solved. This mirror could not be adjusted, but was perfect in view of the angle of inclination, since both kerb and the one behind the vehicle was still visible. Is there a more simple solution here, instead of having to select the driver profile manually and in the stand? Is it possible that the 8-inch driver often doesn’t accept my driver profile when I open the car with the AppleWatch and start with the mobile phone, but I am “guest” on the road, even though I am the only vehicle user. (Of course I don’t carry the vehicle key in this case).

  • New OE BMW rims come with scratches – normal?

    Hello, I ordered these rims brand new ORIGINAL BMW Online. About a rim dealer. My question is if the scratches are normal to this extent? I found something in the forum, but it didn’t look so “heavy”. Visually, I don’t care. I’m more concerned about whether the whole safety technical effect is any more? Or if the rims break faster? They are mounted on a BMW F06 xDrive. All-weather tyres are winter and summer. Thanks in advance and greetings

  • Handbrake problems

    Hello, I have the following problem since today noon, I have put on my handbrake normally. However, it showed no effect, so I put down the lever again and pulled up a little researcher. Well, still no reaction from the handbrake, so I left and wanted to push the lever down again. But it doesn’t go down anymore, it’s a slight resistance to feel when you push it into the end post, then it goes up again about 1cm. is stupid z The lamp for the handbrake is also permanently lit. I put both wheels down in the back and wanted to put the pliers back for the handbrake. But there was nothing to do about it. What can I do? Is it due to the handbrake ropes, or are the springs down?

  • Distance discs M850i

    I would like to install distance discs and wonder which width is useful and possible in the current setup (20 inch / runflat). At the same time I think about changing from Runflat to normal tires and wondering if such a change has to be different due to the automatically slightly larger wheel circumference of non-run flat. Who can help?

  • Skydome: sliding roof, electric. Defect !!! Maintenance? Maintenance?

    Hello At my Fiat 500 year of construction / approval Nov.2012, according to Fiat contractual partner workshop diagnosis the right track is broken and the spring has torn … Costs 900.- incl. repair.(incl VAT??) A Kullanz application is made (expected result in 3 days) AAAABER: Fiat knows in felt ethic phone calls and chats and in the operating manual book that you should come all 30,000Km for maintenance/inspection. That is true in my case. hen Fiat500 with Skydome. The 30,000 Km maintenance/inspection or as it is always called, I had to make good at 30788 Km in Oct 2014 with the Fiat dealer. At the 30,000 Km … the points specified by Fiat are processed as zb disc water refill ! etc. WORK BY PLAN: there is no Skydome listed. But also no air conditioning … Hmm Also not in the operating manual book from page 160. Also when the day is handed over I asked again : I have to come back ? 30,000 have been confirmed. Well … as I wrote at the beginning , I have all possible contacts and NO ONE can tell me when and what to do with the Skydome from purchase to scrapping . There is probably no plan for it or is it maintenance-free ? With the air conditioning it is different , there is everyone informed . What does your Fiat contract partner do with the Skydome ??
