560SEC different engine variants…Equipment possible?
Hello dear fan community, I am currently looking intensively for 560sec`lern and am close to getting one. I am now quite familiar with the weaknesses and different types, now only a general question to understand: In the new model generation from 1986 there was a subsequent performance increase of the 5.6 litre moror to 279hp or 300hp (without cat). At the moment I am on a really perfectly standing model from 1986 from first hand. This was original I have a RÜF with a registered 272hp, the cat has been retrofitted one or two years after EZ by Mercedes. Is it possible to destroy the engine without him fundamental and without inserting 1000€ to get this engine also the power from 1987… it also brings something just to clamp off the cat ( in ppar years it is anyway oldtimer). W140 and envy
Hello, I wanted to briefly describe my impressions how people react to the W140. I have been driving a 400SE of `92 for almost half a year. Actually an old box. I have to find out again and again that people are still extremely envious of this vehicle (don’t look at it). Very bad are older men. They look basically from the corner of the eye on the car. When parking I am often grinned and when I fill up at the gas station for 128€ I will even be a A neighbor who enjoys a new C-class every 2 years doesn’t say good day to me anymore. Deficiency of the brake power amplifier
Hello I have a Ceed 1.4l Built 2007 Is there any information about the failure of the brake power amplifier? Today it happened for the second time that I had no brake power support and I had to bring the vehicle with the hand brake to a standstill. The first time it happened some time ago. It was double-digit minus degrees. I didn’t think about it at first. At the temperatures it can happen. Who knows what was there. Today we have 10 degrees plus and it happened again. After about 70 meters I had to stop on the road before driving in. I wanted to brake and nothing happened. The brake pedal was “stone hard” . Even when I stepped on it more strongly the car did not brake. I had to make it stand with the hand brake. Since I wanted to clear the driveway I then, a few seconds later, drove a piece to the side. Then suddenly the brake worked again. Brake pedal was “soft” again and the vehicle braked again. Has anyone ever experienced such a thing and has a repair been done?

Dimensions and suitability for everyday use Gran Coupe 8
Hello, I have been driving an 840d Coupe for over 4 years and would like to buy a new car in the near future. I am interested in an M850i Gran Coupé. However, I have concerns about whether I can cope with it in everyday life, since the vehicle is 5.08 meters long. This makes it bigger than the current 5 or some 7s in the past. With the normal 8er Coupé I get along – just like that – but avoid driving in car parks for example. Sometimes however, I let I would therefore be very happy about a few honest contributions to the everyday fitness of the 8 Gran Coupé. Thank you very much!

Problems with retrofitting eFH 80 B4
Hello, need help. I bought a set of original eFH, are from an Audi 80 Avant. I myself have an Audi 80 B4 Bj 92. I have built everything in. Prob 1 the support (screw) of the FH motors are not suitable for the door panels. 2. Prob the cables/plugs from the wire harness are available, but under the steering wheel I don’t find the counter plugs. The control unit was also included. What should I do? Stand here now with down-leased pants, a window and it could rain right away ^^ What should I do? or does anyone know what I’m missing?

Hello, have planned for a combo purchase 6,000 – 7,000,- EUR. It should ideally run for the next 4-5 years without going into extreme rep-costs at a mileage of about 30T per year. If I’m now looking for a passat, but only models that have already been on the hump for 10 years, if the kms should not be significantly above 80-90 T… I don’t know much myself and therefore need your expert advice. are ten years too old today for a VW that should hold a few more years without costing me a reperature capacity? What can you typically expect from upcoming repertures? I am very indecisive..even Variant or Octavia are actually in question, but a pass would be nice…what would you do? Economical 1st Car
Hello, I started my first job a month ago after my studies. For this I drive 70 km (back and forth) of highways and some city traffic to work every day. At the moment I use my mother’s Lupo for this. It is really enough, but driving the highway with such a low-performance car is a bit exhausting. That’s why I’ve been looking around for a new car lately. Unfortunately, however, the choice is quite difficult for me. Because of this I wanted to ask here for advice, in order to obtain different opinions, what would be possible. The following criteria I have in mind at the moment – 70-80 km working distance per day, of which 90% motorway – approx. 15,000 € available – compact car (should be able to drive 120-130 km, without producing 120 dB in the interior :P) – possible savings (had even briefly hybrid in mind, but makes only sense, who n I would move to the city where I am currently working) – as robust as possible, so should not be too vulnerable and have the usual security equipment – brand, shape and design really doesn’t matter to me. 630i N52B30OL: replacement engine – question for exchange
Greetings. I bought a 630 E63, Bj2006 with engine damage. The engine is completely destroyed. Now I am looking for a replacement engine. I would like to install a complete engine. Now the question arises: Can I install all the N52B30 without changing the ECU? Or does anyone know the codes that would fit without making changes to the wire harness or control units? Sierra DOHC fuel filter connections
Hi, I unfortunately had a crack in the plastic fitting during the line from tank to fuel filter and thus a slight leak. Now I want to break the whole thing apart and also switch the filter immediately. Unfortunately, the (metal) fitting is torn off with the said (input) side of the filter, think that was the real reason for the leak. Well, anyway, have two problems now: 1) How do I get such a new Banjo fitting? Vllt someone has a source and/or the Dimensions so that I can ask around. 2) How do I get the demolished rest from the plastic fitting from the supply line from the tank? Are these quick fittings? As I said, the outer/frontmost ring on the plastic fitting has been broken & dropped. Ev I have to change it, not so cool :/ Thanks already for every input! Lg Andi
