Hello together I’ve been playing for some time with the idea that I would like to buy a cheap (calculated to the highest 5000 Euro) convertible as a second car, and in this price class the Audi Cabrio seems to me the best choice. In addition, it should also bring a bit of driving performance as a fun car, which is why I want the 2.8 E V6, although I am actually a 5-cylinder fan as a Volvo driver. I know the 2.8 E well; I once had a 92 Audi 100 Avant 2.8 E, which I bought with 100’000 km and with 185’000 km. I was very satisfied with the car, even if there were repairs (end cable, Lambda probe, servo and various little things) and some things have broken down a bit (lenkrad not adjustable, oil consumption, lottery gearbox, very soft suspension, too strong servo support, rather heavy light). Nevertheless, it was a good car and I can easily imagine driving an Audi again. Now to my questions: Are the negative points that I have to vo I thought the driver airbag was standard, and I have already seen used cars, where a driver airbag should be installed, but there was no indication on the steering wheel; in general, the chuck of the three-spoke steering wheel looks too small, as if there was an airbag space. Is the manual cover easy to operate? I would e drive the car only in summer; maybe 10’000 km per year. Can I just leave the car through the winter and assume that it will easily run again in spring (possibly after charging the battery)? Can you stretch the normal maintenance interval to save costs and allow the maintenance to be carried out less often? Apart from the oil change, I mean. The plastic strips at the bottom of the door often seem to be located at the end points, at least I have in a thread ( http://www.motor-talk.de/t1392665/f158/s/thread.html ) and even seen this on a used car. Is this a common problem or rather the exception? Can I expect significantly better driving performance from 2.8 E despite the much higher weight than from 2.3 E? Do the 2.3 E sound like 5 cylinders under load?

Tyre pressure indicator
Hello, how exactly are the tire pressure sensors at the ProCeed? According to the tire filler on the tank there are 2,7bar on it. The display in the car shows me a pressure of 3,0bar! Both measured in cold condition. Thanks

Aluminium rim with hole
Hello, I’m just writing this now because I’m relatively baff (so astonished) and wanted to know if there was someone out there, in the expanses of the Internetze, for whom this is an “old hat”: We bought 16 inches of Magma aluminium rims for our new Skoda 6 (type Celsio). After the assembly, the tires stood two days in the workshop before the vehicle was to be re-tired. At the same time, one tyre had less pressure (2.0 instead of 2.6 bar) than the rest. Venti tested t, without any findings, air was refilled and observed since it was suspected that maybe too little was filled in. But after 2 days there was too little air in it again. Then we started to examine the wheel and when we just threw the whole part into the water the culprit revealed himself: the rim has a microfine hole in one place … at the material strength one has to speak more of a channel, through which the air flows very slowly. s has never come under me so far and therefore the question: to you perhaps? Greetings Matthias

7×17 / 8×17 rim
Hello, short question on the holiday, since I am dealing with new rims: Is it right that theoretically an 8×17 rim would have to be less comfortable than a 7.5×17 and 7×17 rim as the tire, 225/45-17, “straffer” is stretched over the rim and thus sit flatter on the rim. Sometimes not considering whether you notice this in everyday life !?! Thank you for your assessment ! Greeting to All

UVO or WLAN
Hi, I have an XCeed with UVO. But somehow I didn’t understand what the difference between UVO and the Wifi connection should be. I can always only choose one. What’s the advantage of deactivating UVO and using Wifi via my phone? Thanks Dennis

ProCeed 2019 driver..where do you come from and how about a meeting in NRW???
Hello ProCeedler, I would be interested in where you all come from? I myself am from Cologne. It would be interesting to find something together on a Sunday and exchange experiences. Many have or have already had problems with the Fzg and here would certainly be an exchange of these experiences a great thing. What do you think? Would anyone be interested in such a meeting? lg Jack

T-Cross motor vehicle control
How high are the taxes? In three car dealerships, three different answers…. I ordered the 85kw in style with R-line. Has someone already received such a one and his kfzsteuerschein? (In Baden-Württemberg….if there are cross-border differences here, which I don’t know exactly…)

T-Cross: “Please check oil level” lights up, oil level in the middle
T-Cross, bought as a new car, EZ 5/2022, mileage 15600 km. The car does not know (except for a few exceptions) a short distance. After cold start is always warm, never kicked, the first approx. 1500..2000 km driven under 3000 revolutions. Consumption between 4.7 and 5.7. The day before yesterday on the motorway comes „Please check oil level and below on the display on the speedometer a red triangle with exclamation mark. It glows NO oil can. Oil level last before approx. 3000 km (that was a month ago, vo After about 20 km, the engine stopped, then the key on ignition and the red triangle with exclamation sign comes back again. Shopping, about 10 minutes later drove home (about 10 km), red triangle always there. Day later oil level checked – see photo below. It is like before the holiday approximately in the middle. After that the red triangle with exclamation mark does NOT shine any more. The “please oil level over) Checking is no longer possible (but I’m a little less than 50 km away). Is that a false alarm? Or should you refill or change oil? Below are two photos of the “On-board computer”. One after a year and one from the day before.

Durability tires??
Would you have a question about how long (km) does a set of summer tires last in normal use about on average? I don’t have any experience yet!

Traffic light problems…
In itself, traffic lights do not cause any problems: it is clear that you are standing at red, driving at green, and when the traffic lights are switched off, do not blink and a traffic sign signals ahead, then you can also drive. So far the theory… In practice, however, it sometimes looks different. Today experienced: bypass road, speed 70 allowed, and on Sundays some traffic lights switched off, which is quite pleasant and enables fast driving. But suddenly, at one of these traffic lights there were a few driving times. euge, I had to stop. At first I thought that this traffic light might not be switched off and red, but a short look was enough to identify the traffic light perfectly as switched off. Well, I thought, the front car might have a breakdown or something, that can happen. After some time he also drove off. But at the next traffic light the same thing: again switched off, but this car stopped again. Luckily then someone immediately jumped, and then he drove, but at the next traffic light the same thing: again switched off, but this car stopped again. I wonder what was going on. We drove in a northerly direction, i.e. glare passes through the sun. Then, a while later in the city, I was (fortunately) only pedestrian and thus uninvolved observer: At a traffic light, which was switched on, I saw it immediately at two green phases, that the first car did not go off and only had to be “awakened” by horns of the rear man. Also here no glare through the sun, however, one of the drivers reacted also the hooving at first not, but gesticulated wildly around, absolutely incomprehensible. Was that about the spring fatigue?
