Hello new here and you since my last hope. Have the Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 8V of my acquaintances here in “care”. The following problem: car starts super running quietly, but as soon as you give full throttle the engine does not go over 3500 turns and charge control lights up briefly, then breaks down and game starts again from the front. My acquaintance had the Fiat in the contract workshop these meant 99% the throttle flap, then have for sloping 520€ a new built-in same sch… again. Then the master thought you can only try out, because my acquaintances unfortunately “try” in the workshop can not financially afford, try to help was earlier motor vehicle mechanic. Have already tried the following: – Control times vote – Crammer unscrewed thought Kat is defective – all mass connections checked and a new cable to gearbox built – hoses and ignition cables checked on marder damage – Drosselklappe was already renewed vehicle showed when reading out no fault and engine lamp not even thought of you already had this phenomenon thanks already to Alex already in the weekend?

Fiat 500 retrofitting cruise control (Mod. 2016)
Hello, because I have not found any concrete contributions on the topic of Tempomat here or in other 500 forums, I would like to start here. Maybe someone has already successfully retrofitted and can give tips. Starting point: Fiat 500 69 PS (EZ: 29.12.2015 – Modell 2016) No Tempomat, no Limiter In various Fiat forums you can find one or other report, that with existing limiter the steering pole switch has to be changed and you have also the Tempomaten. Another report says that the cable for the steering pole switch was already available and only by installation / plugs the Tempomat function could be retrofitted. With eBay now for ~40,00 EUR a lever has been fired, one can try it out. Of course, with our 500er no plug is prepared. Now the question arises, how much effort (time/cost) the installation actually means, without at the Fiat-Stock-Stick a small fortune to burn it. I leave this here at times so. Evtl. has actually got some tips. Craft skills and technical understanding would be given. Otherwise I would like to contact the assembly unit.

Oil pressure tell-tale
Hello, if I turn on the ignition at our Twinair from 2010, the indicator for oil pressure and overtemperature is not on. I know this from all cars, that these lights are all visible once and then go out. Now the manual also says: Quotation: When turning the ignition key on MAR lights up the indicator lamp (for versions/markets, where provided) but must go out as soon as the engine starts. Can it be that for our model this is not intended? If these lamps don’t turn on, then it means that you don’t see it, for example, if the oil pressure is not right.

Fiat 500 1.2 8V long distance
A nice good evening! I’m new here in the forum and would like to have answered very urgently a question: my wife fell in love with a Fiat 500 1.2 Dualogic Lounge Bj.5/2008. He should only have been driven long distance and therefore already 100,000km behind him. He was regularly maintained and all important wear parts were changed: quote: “First possession, Tüv new everything repaired, tires, long distance vehicle was used by us as a pure commuter vehicle, it knows no city traffic, which of course has a positive effect on the condition. It is all repaired what can happen at this age so, because we had not planned to sell the car. However, because we have got a service car the vehicle is new. The following was carried out, invoices are included: works at KM Stand 99100 large inspection with tooth belt and other small things (1,240€) front wheel replaced (67€) tires (summer tires) renewed (65€) To get your truck new, brake discs/puffs/puffs are supplied: It is all repaired, which can otherwise be returned to you.

Fiat Punto 188 16V 2004 Problem Ignition
Hello I need your help. From now on, the Punto has had the same drop-off and engine stock. Early in the morning in cold condition quite normal, the engine control turned a bit hot. On the way home, the one stayed on and that came into the workshop. Cylinder 4 ignition drop-outs. Control unit defective, economic total damage. The Punto is in the garage, control unit is a ME7.3H4 from Bosch, which doesn’t break so quickly and is already protected against overvoltage. Ignition cables are relatively new from Beru and 100% ok. Spark plugs now come in after 20,000 km at short distance. The ignition coil pack is damaged, look at the picture, for 15 years there inside. I suspect that the one who makes the error, however, is the right coil for cylinders 2-3 damaged and not 1-4. I suspect that the evaluation and control of the ignition only goes to the coil, since no direct ignition coils on the candles are as well as today. Cold cords and has power starts after a while. Temperature sensor, if it is warm, nevertheless, it does not show a new possibility. And it has a new problem.

Black smoke
Hello, have the following problem : had to change the head gasket with my 1.8 cvh 64 KW (ZKS torn down – water loss) but with the damage nevertheless ran flawlessly. Now after the assembly, the engine runs like a tank and smokes black-grey back out. It starts immediately, stops the idle and also takes gas. That’s why I had asked here because of the basic setting (OT crankshaft). The mechanical setting is however in any case ok. Candles are raven black I fear that I put one of the hoses wrong – but don’t know which one. Maybe someone has an idea where I should look first – because have no desire to lie with the current minus degrees below the car.

Spark plugs glow, engine close to it!
Hi to everyone, my Fiesta was still running quite normal until then. Then all of a sudden he only ran on three cylinders. Then I turned out the candles and they glowed. ECHT! The engine block was close to it. What do I do now? Do I have a machine damage? Is the exhaust system clogged or what? It also leaks oil from the cylinder head seal. Is the shingle broken? Why why? I have such a Kent machine in it that ratts! Who knows a guess. Would be very grateful to you!
