I drove with a Fiesta ST 150 for 2 hours today. I liked things that I liked very much, such as: Sprotzen of the engine that you can hear when you give a lot of gas and take away the gas again. Again, I liked the acceleration, which is really praiseworthy. But there were a lot of things that I didn’t like but still didn’t really feel bad. The processing of the materials in the interior were not so special as well as the habitable sitting position in the interior. Positively, I didn’t really like the chassis, but really didn’t like it too hard. I didn’t find the engine noise annoying and certainly didn’t miss a 6th gear at all. Outside I found the car very sporty especially the rims fit very well. Conclusion: I personally was surprised that the Ford got this so great with the drive and the engine but the materials look bad. I don’t understand why Ford doesn’t come up with the material standard of VW light. But regardless of what it was like to drive the GFA because of the materials, but I still had to wait for the absence of the MFA.

Cost Timing belt change 1.2 69hp
Hello together I got a quote for timing belt changes, new water pump and the rib belt today. Vehicle is a Fiat 500C Built 12/2013 with 121000Km. Last timing belt change in April 2019 at 60000Km. I almost fell from the faith. Is a free workshop and they really want to have 729€. I think I will do it in self-direction. I don’t pay such prices. Since my Volvo V70 with 5 cylinder diesel engine last year was not significantly more expensive. And since also the strap tensioner for the rib belt was changed and the strap for the climate (i.e. a total of 2 rib belts) cost 800€. So what did you pay in the workshop for this work on your Luigi?

Brake pedal switch circuitry
Hello, I have a Ford Ranger Built in 2013 2,2l diesel, in which the drive control light has been lit for some time… partly saved with the ESP light. I read out the control units, and as a mistake the brake pedal switch out. As a result, it was also noticeable that the brake light does not work anymore. Then I examined the supposed switches on the brake pedal. There are two. One blue (top) and one black (bottom). As I suspected that it is normal switches, I measured them with a pass tester. The upper has permanent passage and the lower one has not… no matter whether they are pressed, or not. I read the measured values of the motor control unit, I find two inputs brake switch. The upper one works (shows a change in the digital input) but I could not draw anything from the lower one. So I ordered a new one, and unfortunately I had to find out that it shows exactly the same behavior. Highly ohmable or not. I have meanwhile seen a switch, the switch does not actually represent a stop switch. But unfortunately I did not find a change in advance.

Hyundai i20 Brakes Grinding noise
Hello together! I bought a Hyundai i20 about 4 weeks ago, which has now run about 50k km. He had a previous owner who was probably quite busy in city traffic. When braking I hear a dull grinding noise again and again (no squeaking). First I thought that this has to do with flying rust, which was also clearly visible at the beginning. Now the brake discs are free of rust (as far as I can see) and it still grinds. The car is always standing outside. I park on a quite steep slope and therefore always use the hand brake. When I loosen the hand brake in the morning and let it roll back, the car cracks once until it rolls down the slope, as if the brakes had “curved up”. But this happens with frost also at 10 °C. At the last inspection at 38km nothing was noted about it and that is only a year ago. I have read that brakes usually wear out after 100k km. Is it still possible that the brakes are worn out? And then what parts would have to be replaced?

Possible tyre sizes Sierra Kombi ?
Hello fan community, have a 91er Sierra Kombi 2,0 DOHC. Currently there are only 195/65R14 registered and my tyre dealer meant that the most expensive winter tires are available. I should get a release of Ford for the other sizes. Now my question, where do I get such a thing, or can I download something? Thanks in advance, Guß Frankiboy

Difference 2.0 DOHC 85/88 KW ???
Hello guys, I’ve finally been Sierra driver for a few days. By stupid coincidence I bought two pieces now. On the one hand a 89er Sierra Combi with 88 KW and on the other hand the 92er 3-door FLH with 85 KW long sought by me. At the “transmission” of the two cars I noticed that the combi runs at Tempo 100 in the 5th gear only scarce 2000 rpm and the FLH already at 3000 rpm. As far as I could research this up to now, the two 2.0 DOHC are identical, only the newer ones have some reduction piece and thus a little less power. Why actually? Are there still different gears? Last question: Is it now the 2.0 DOHC or the 2.0i DOHC??? Motor codes should be N9C (Kombi) and N9E (FLH). Thank you already, look forward to your answers, f-b

Fall
Was today to the axle measurement and there he told me, as I already knew that my fall at the front left is totally modest. On the right is auc hnic hso good, but is still in the frame -2.32 to put it that way. It is probably because the car had had an accident, which I already knew already. Although this is fixed, this is still n over the rest of it. What would you recommend to do about it, he meant n new cross handlebar pure, because the bushes are relatively finished at the betsen immediately on both sides and what he told me would be new cathedral warehouses and possibly also stabilizers. But should happen soon, he gives me my tyres still about 2 months until the inside baldness. Besides, it is also a totally unsightly track guide. Blöd that one always sees what is only to the full extent if the car stands on a totally free, flat area. MfG Axel
