  • Buy Ranger 2.5 td with 235’000km?

Hello people from the ranger forum, I wanted to ask if it would be wise to buy a Ford Ranger bj. 2000 4×4 with 2.5td (109hp), 235’000? Does this engine work even longer after this mileage? I am currently active in the forum corner 211er and E46, but I have driven Ford most of my life and screw everything myself (Torino, Mustang, Pinto, Aerostar) Thanks for a feedback

  • Fiat Punto 188 Ignition oscillators

Hello I have the following problem, My car is a Fiat Punto built in 2002. I have been driving from time to time, which is not continuous, but already some times I have been strangled at the traffic lights in the last 2 months! So when I speed up full on the gas there is no problem at all only if I drive at 60 in the 4th gear at a certain gas level, it jerks down a little I think I’m going to think I’m going to have a problem with the error messages that came with me in the last 4 weeks! It was replaced about 3 months ago spark plugs, spark cable, air filter, oil filter. Does anyone have an idea what I can look at everything without buying everything new now is an older car where I don’t want to spend a lot of money. Thank you

  • Rugging and idle cold bad in Punto 188

Hi guys, I looked at the Punto of my brother-in-law yesterday. The car is a Punto of 2002. Machine with 44 kW (60hp). When it is cold, it runs slightly unround when it is idle….as if a cylinder is not running fully. In addition, in the first 30 seconds a bad gas acceptance occurs. Later it adopts normal gas. In addition, the car is slightly jerking when it accelerates. The acceleration is not constant, but there is a power hole in a certain Rottazhl (so 2000 to 2500 rpm I estimate). If it then gets quite warm, the leak hole is still hard to remember, but is still there. I have read out error code “D 0: 0.” . The error memory I have deleted. The error memory does not appear again even after longer usage time. The car has 13.000 km down (that is no typo, it really has so little down). New spark plugs are in, all filters are new and the oil is also new. Does anyone have a tip from you?

  • Which oil consumption is normal?

Hello, I drive a FoFi 1.1 l. I have to pour some oil sometimes, because my car has a certain amount of oil consumption. I have to say that I demand a lot from the engine (120 tkm run). In other words, I drive quite high speeds and the mountain up and down mountain. And on the highway, I always drive max. speed. What the engine gives just. My consumption of oil is on average at the difference of min to max (I think that’s a half liter, or?) on the pier at 1000 km. I drive with partly synthetic 5W40 oil. Is this perhaps the wrong oil? Thanks already for the answers in the pre-panissimo

  • Ranger 3.2 Diesel at -8° does not start at all

Hello, a Ranger 3.2 Diesel 4×4 200hp Wildtrack. 72tkm. Didn’t want to start at -8°C on Saturday morning. Not even at first. Starter turned. After a few attempts was Batt. empty and with new Batt. and reset the BMS the same. Diesel starts after the filter back in the tank at ignition. In the error memory all 5 glow plugs are stored with interruption which first does not sound plausible that all 5 are defective. It came then the Adac and off into the workshop. They want to change now for 800.- all glow plugs. Did someone have a similar problem? What would you do? Thank you

  • BUILDING DECISION “Ford Ranger 2016-2022, 3.2l 200PS”

Greetings, I would like to buy a Ford Ranger, model 2016-2022. Motor 3.2l with 200hp. Automatic, stationary heating and hardtop should also have it. Running power with a maximum of 80.000km is sought. These are now as far as the basic data as I would like to have it. Why a Ford Ranger?? Because I need the payload and the Ranger seems to be the only reasonable car with a relatively normal fuel consumption. Of course, the Dodge RAM would be a dream, but what does it cost and even more, what the sucks… namenee I have nearly 1000kg camping, which wants to be coached back and forth every holiday. The caravan weighs max 1600kg and is already full, upper edge lower lip. lol My question, since I don’t know about FRD (still)… Are there differences with the model 2016-2022 like Facelift or other things? What do I have to pay attention to when I purchase the car? What would you advise from?

  • Ranger 3.2 Diesel needed what to pay attention to?

Would you say this is a ranger who doesn’t have 200k on the clock yet and say we don’t have to be reliable for 7 years when it comes to regular checkbook? How is the 3.2 compared to the 2.2Diesel? I’ve already read and heard about weaknesses such as rusts, oil shortages etc. My friends wil have as everyday and camper/land tours. For this he should get a camper set up. The desired car is also prepared in the direction. Is a transmission oil change planned for Ford in the service after checkbook?

  • Right to exist?

So, my Ford Sierra CLX: nen 91 ́ 2.0i DOHC with 88/120 “Coupe” silver So this is my beloved car, which has been faithfully accompanying me for about 2 years now. I bought it at that time for a whole 300 Euro with a mileage of just under 100tk. Was in very good condition and was cared for and loved by a pensioner. Now I have smoked the engine three days ago, suspicion of cylinder head seal. Unfortunately, the seal was still perfectly in order, so the problem must probably be some crack in the head?!? (“I don’t really have a specialist man”… Now the question arises for me whether I miss my car another second life again. He has meanwhile well 140tk on the hump, the brakes and shock absorbers have to be made in the near future. He still has about a year of TÜV. From the emotional side this question does not really ask himself, because I like my car, it’s just hanging on it and it’s just good… but he is a 2 door and of course I don’t have a chance to get the money?
