  • Conversion Ignition to Transistor Ignition

Hi@all, would like to convert the interrupter-controlled ignition of my 2.0L Ford OHC/gasifier to one of these contact-controlled electrical ignitions, which are now offered everywhere. Now my questions: a) can you use EVER of these offered 12V variants or are there (in addition to the price) differences ? Does it even matter which distributor (-type) is installed ? b) Is there also the possibility to convert to completely contactless without having to spend several hundred euros ? I am grateful for every tip ! 😉 Greeting «LuxXxus»

  • FFB problem + cable fire

Hello, I have some problems with the installation of my ffb in my mk6. is son cheap part from ebay (I know there is far better) At first I installed it as on the upper half of the sheet to be seen, but only the flasher control went on, it also clicked but it opened/closed no door. Dan much to me that the Essi has a plus-steered ZV, since I closed it as on the 2 picture to the right to see it and caused a cable fire. Now the question, how do I have to connect it with it all the doors go up or can it even go down or I have tossed the control device. I have the presumption that it is the lowest version, however I understand dan nciht which line the main line call or where I find it Der escort has eig a plus-controlled ZV Thx schomlhttp://rapidshare/files/1614720/Foto-00jj.

  • Grande Punto 1.4 16v 95ps power loss and jerks

Hello together, we have been buying a used Fiat Grande punto 1.4 petrol (with 94000 km) for 6 months. After a test drive everything was good and we have found no problems. After about 4 weeks we have found out the following: When driving, whether low or high speed, whether in the city or on the highway, suddenly there is no more power. If you lift the foot from the gas pedal and step on it again, the car drives again normal. During a drive of e.g. 30 km, it comes 2-3 times, but not in a row. It is really stupid and dangerous especially if you want to drive the highway and overtake it and suddenly the power decreases. I was at 2 different workshops and got the same feedback that everything is in order. Error memory also did not show up. Now I don’t know what I still have to do. Can someone help me here. I am no expert, but I suspect that it has to do with the electric cables. Many thanks in advance! [From engine valley from the topic ‘Fiat Grande Punto 1.4 (95)].

  • Deceleration

yesterday I had driven my Sierra into the garage because I wanted to suck out inside and m a n bit clean, how one should stop and make it to ma Hab then saw that front right was n small stain. Had rained but unfortunately there was no water, but coolant liquid. Is not so bad, was still enough and also have to stand still cooler leak with me (comes down to the right out of the cooler) Drive out then and see there still n spot, front left but further towards the passenger room. Was not so slippery the stuff but it had smell. I first wondered what that could be but wanted to be but still quickly buy something. Fiel then out, however, because hardly from the plot down I have noticed then brake to kick stop and then straighten it off. Find me again everything totally unsightly then was done now all the way (oil change, zĂŒndkerzen, “BremsflĂŒsigkeit” and jetz der Mist mussss can be seen tomorrow what is not something that will have happened to me but maybe it was something that happened to me.

  • Question about care and maintenance Punto

Hello everyone, I bought a Punto 188 year 2006 a few days ago, 247,000 km, LPG, trailer coupling grut basic condition, small money, some maintenance stowage. The car is now at FIAT in the brand workshop, is checked, the maintenance stowage is fixed. The car is a second car for special tasks with trailer coupling and for short distance. Mad how fast the cooling water gets warm: not 3 km, and it is at 100 °C :-). Question: is it worth the price difference with FIAT brand workshop / free workshop? FIAT is quite cheap with the part and workshop costs per se. For example, the timing belt exchange incl. water pump does not cost 600 EUR (is on behalf of the workshop). How much would free workshop be cheaper? I tried to get cost estimates – but apart from FIAT None got, which significantly shakes my confidence with the respondents.

  • Ford Sierra Insider Infos

Hello together, as you can see I’m new here! I came across this forum when I was looking for information about the Ford Sierra. Since I’m thinking about getting a Ford Sierra, I have a few questions for you: -what’s the difference between 2.0GLX and XR4i? Both have 120 hp and rear drive or? -what kind of maintenance costs are there for me? (taxes, liability…) -what’s there to consider when buying? that’s enough for the first time! Thank you for the answers! Moritz

  • Main brake cylinder defective?

Hello together, with my 92er Sierra 2,0 GT without ABS I had to replace the long brake line to the rear axle. After that I filled the whole system with new brake fluid and aired all 4 brakes well. Since then I’ve been in the brake pedal a few cm empty before the brakes show effect. At first I thought that there was still air in the system but after several vents nothing changed. A familiar of me then directly said that on the main brake cylinder a cuff has become leaking and that this can happen quite often after the refilling. Have you already had similar experiences? What would you suggest, new overtaking kit or other main brake cylinders from the scrap yard, costs there 25€. Greetings, Holger

  • Question about Kia Cee ́d driver’s seat

Hello everyone! Yesterday had a test drive in the Cee ́d CW 1,6 CRDI 115PS Spirit. 6-speed, test car had about 7500km on it. Quite neat. Diesel is strong, but doesn ́t like touring under 1500U/min, then it buzzes and vibrates something. But is not a prob. simply a gear back and is good. Very good equipment, quite good light, proper workmanship, tight suspension (but not unpleasant). But… what’s going on with the driver’s seat, I thought to myself at first. At first I thought: Oh, but there the driver in front of me tightened the lumbar support. But look, that was almost all behind. So what’s that pushing me so into the lower back? How am I to describe ….is like this little pressure plate which was inserted in the lower part of the seatrest again of course “I ́ve got pushed hard against it again with the back again, then what is this “pressure plate” back to the rear and at the same time the headrest is not something to support me at the front.

  • Kia Ceed Facelift for 2010 and new engines

From the 2010 Ceed first spyshots appeared. Changes are limited to the new grill, slightly modified luminaires front and rear, taped bumpers and fog lights as well as an upgraded interior. At the IAA the facelift is then officially shown. Gradually also pro_ceed and ceed_SW are subjected to the same facelift. The ex_ceed should have these changes right from the start. Technically, new engines will be installed. The new Hyundai R-series Euro5 turbodiesel with 2.0l engine capacity. 6-speed circuit and possibly also the new 6-speed automatic. Later the new 1.6l turbo gasoline (first in the 2010 Sportage and Hyundai ix35 debuting) followed with a new 6-speed double clutch transmission
