Hello together, I’m a bit desperate. I got my Type R new on 11.04.2016. In the beginning everything was ok but by now I have problems with the gearbox. I try to describe it: I drive second gear pace and then brake almost to a standstill and then put the first gear in then there is a dull crack. I feel it under my foot and butt, it’s like a slight jerk. Same thing happens to me when I switch from 2. to the 3rd and from 3 to 4. Furthermore, it scratches on the gear lever when I switch to the 5th gear as if someone is knocking on the gear lever. It doesn’t always happen but I don’t think that’s acceptable for a new car. What do you think? Thank you for your help.

Buy: Seat Leon cupra vs Civic Type R ?
I know that there have been such topics many times, but your opinion is important to me. I have already read as well as everything about the Civic and find it just awesome. On the other hand, my buddy bought a cupra before a few weeks ago, which I have already tested. Go away like the sow. I know it is difficult to compare turbos with a rotary organ, but maybe one of you has already driven or has had any experience with the Cupra. I drive the Civic on Thursday/Friday rehearsal, then I’m probably smarter. Look forward to your help.

Good vibrations (or ESMM installed)
Today I made the trouble and installed my harder engine mount inserts from Energy Suspension. Installation was relatively easy and took about 2 hours. It’s only a bit of effort, because besides the spray protection you have to release the front rod and the downpipe to the cat and then you have to lower the entire lower frame construction while you are under the cart to use the parts. The box vibrates much more strongly but you immediately notice that it has brought about a reduction in the motor’s own movement. All in all, if you don’t shy away from the effort a cheap mod (approx. 25-30 Euro) with proper effect.

Value estimation at sale
Hi guys, I’m wearing the idea of selling my Essi and I want to have your value estimate for this. It’s an Escort tournament, 1.6-16V, year 1998, Euro3, 131,000 KM, equipment “Flair”, i.e. with electr. FH, sliding roof. My Essi would have to be TÜV in March 2012 and what would definitely have to be done would be the Schweller li.+re, which, according to my works, would amount to 300-400 Euro incl. material. However, if actually this money did not invest any more, have actually invested a lot in the last 2 years. Repaired since May 2010: – timing belts and water pump at 110.000 KM – thermostat and encoder as well as sensor intake hose – exhaust (medium and end pot) – brakes and brake discs – clutch complete – DK-Poti, LLRV and KWGEV – ignition plugs and ignition cable set complete – air filter and light machine – transducer tube – exhaust (medium and end pot) – windshield and headlight. He’s is currently standing on the Flubel.

Target position: over 120hp from a 1.6 PP engine
So to all D&W, Japan shock and light tuning people: your opinion of because “brings nothing” or “sell the and get n faster” do not need to express itself on this topic! Of all others who have some idea of good old suction engine tuning and know what they are talking about, I would like to hear an opinion and possible suggestions for improvement to my project. Momentary engine: MKB: PP hole: 81 stroke: 77.4 kW/PS: 51/70 single valve:38mm carburettor: 2EE 2p. HD: 105/110 compression. 9/1 are planned: cylinder head of Golf II GTi Edition One MKB: PF hole 81 single valve: 40mm (nitrated) outlet valves as with PP (nitrated) gasifier 2EE with 105/120 main nozzle compression 10/1 are added crankshaft shaft of 1.8 with 86.4mm stroke +Pleuel&colben is possibly even more compaction to 10,5:1 (titrated) filter channels (titrated) loopholes and loopholes.

Consumption data of the new SLK 2011 realistic?
Hello together. Mercedes indicates the following consumption figures for the new SLK on their Internet pages:SLK 200 184 PS City 8.9-9.3; Land 5.0-5.3, comb. 6.4-6.8 l/100 kmSLK 250 204 PS City 8.4-8.7; Land 5.0-5.4, comb. 6.2-6.6 l/100 kmSLK 350 306 PS City 9.9; Land 5.5, comb. 7.1 l/100 km When I read this was my first impression: “Boah eh, 306 PS and only 7.1 liters? I never believe that in life”. These are gasoline and no diesel and then such pleasingly low consumption figures? That can’t be, can’t it? I think that the SLK 350 in practice will be more like 10-11 liters. A BMW Z4 35i with 306 hp will be given with 9.0 l/100 km (sports automatic) and Mercedes’s are generally considered to be very economical. And Mercedes wants to undercut that with almost 2 liters less consumption? I just don’t believe that. Incidentally, this SLK I like it better than the previous one.

The FN2 should be – but which exhaust?
Hello Hondafans… I’ve been thinking for a long time, but the “new” Civic Type R is supposed to be. Since I’ve looked at every car that I’ve done something, I also want to do the “standard things” like chassis, exhaust, rims, steel flex hoses and possibly struts. I’ve already looked at a little bit for an exhaust for the FN2, but I didn’t really find it. Up to now I’ve always been quite satisfied with Bastuck, but I don’t like the variants offered for the FN2 at all. Because I don’t want to change the serial look at the rear, as far as the exhaust ends are concerned, meaning that the exhaust pipes should end in the original blinds. Which exhaust can you recommend me here? The sound should be kernely, already a bit louder on the AB. Like Supersprint, Bastuck & Co. Thank you…

Apple Carplay
Hi, I’m lucky to be able to drive a Calibra A 2.0i as a first car. At the moment there is not the serial radio in it, but still a relatively old one. Since I like to listen to music when driving a car and also like the possibility to change the playlist during the ride, I am looking for a radio with Apple CarPlay, that I can install in the Calibra and then connect wirelessly to my mobile phone. It doesn’t have to be somehow foldable or so and should be of course as cheap as possible (bin student). Is there anything I have to pay attention to? Any connections, are there different sizes or perhaps too little or too much output performance? I would be happy about answers and also suggestions, which radios could come into question! Adrian
