Help, Idle spins to Hondata Mod.
Hello, need urgent expert help! I made the Hondata Mod at the org. Box this afternoon. I am sure that I have worked cleanly and also all crumbs ect. fine cleanly sucked out. I just made a test drive and after about 2 km the idle has started to spin! The speed in 5 sec. clock always goes to approx. 2500 and back again to approx. 900. If I put it out and again to the same. Have the battery jammed down and started again then was quiet. After about 200m drive the same game. Cann’t be that the electronics can’t cope with more air. … There must have been an AI or similar in there. Please urgently help. PS: Well a week I still have full factory garanie. In case of necessity I have to get a stock box again on the fast and from the friendly…

12 months are around
so girls. have my ctr for a year. at the beginning I was not so satisfied. had also stress with the dealer. after a year and more thought, I came to the conclusion, I bought the right car. now the first customer service is in front of the door and I wanted to inform myself what you have paid for there. what is done there? have 12000 km on it. think the make still no oil change. have also noticed nothing of the lower fuel consumption after 10000km. have 1l oil refilled in the one year. think this is normal. have driven the car after this instruction, which was mailed here times. what I find bad at the crt, is that it struts extremely in the performance. depending on the temperature difference, in the summer totally lame in winter ne rocket. all continue good driving!

Brake discs rust
Hello, I had my summer tires put on today at atu and then let another spring check take part. Result: – rear brake pads. not so unusual after 50,000 But!: what surprised him: the rear brake discs would be due. They would be slightly rusty. He also asked if I brake so often. Another, who heard it by chance, meant that it could not be, and did look at it. He also meant that this should not be after 50,000 km. When I meant that I still had factory warranty, he said: “Yes, of course!” So, what do you think about it?? I suppose that Honda factory wants to get rid of me right away when I arrive at it. The second point is that my driver’s seat is squeaking on the inside. I also read here in the forum that there is even a Honda-internal circular letter, which is what this is about and what to do. Can I also insist on the guarantee here? My dealer has thus convinced me that I don’t even have a typical problem.

Brake
People I’m interested in your experience. Who has installed a different brake set-up and how it worked out? I’m not quite satisfied with the standard brake with regard to the dosing and response behavior. Whether this is fixed with a set of pads (I think of Green Stuff or Red Stuff) and steel flex brake lines, I doubt I can be mistaken. Also the AEM big brake conversion is interesting – ABP Motorsport in England drives the kit and praises it all. A real “big” brake is not worth it for me with the car. Thanks

Clips Luggage compartment cladding
Hello, I have a lot of clips of the trunk coverings broken, I would like to replace them. At Amazon, Ebay,… did I find cheap sets with various clips, would I have something suitable with them? Bzw. are the special clips of Smart/Mercedes or are the clips that are also used in other vehicles in large quantities? Didn’t count it yet, but I would probably renew all of them immediately, because after I have taken off the claddings others would probably break and would not be left anyway.

Bastuck cat back at CTR
One of the many CTR drivers has a sound file or film, where the sound comes across to some extent. Not wonder why a TT driver puts it. I do this for my colleague, who has a CTR driving nothing with Inet. Oh yes, I am curious about the new CTR myself. Could be an alternative for me. I’ve already tried the normal Civic “new” and I like it. Still good performance under, GF under and smart rims and it’s for me. Gruss Marcel
