  • Audio systems Installation Omega-B Facelift….

    Greetings!I have an Omega-B Facelift Bj:12.02 and the following problem: I am talking about the audio/climate-tronic unit in the center console, most of you probably know what it looks like…. now I want to install my radio, but have no idea if there is an aperture of Opel/reconstruction with which you can install your own radio!?!?(possibly sharer would be supi) and how does it look with the wiring under the amature board? you have some space or is there like with most “new” cars all paved up, or where would be a good place to come with the + cable into the inside room!? would be best if someone has already done this already, and vlt. has made a report online! ps: have done so many times, just don’t stop with such a car 🙁

  • Problems with V6 2.8l AAH

    Hello guys, I’ve got a problem with my 2.8l V6 automatic again… Slowly I get the car so annoying So the following: The other night on the highway, it was easy downhill, he just shut down at Streit 200, no km/h more. Today on the highway it went up the mountain, 1km approx. 8% climb, 4th gear at 190km/h Kick-Down, see there, what makes the Audi, always slow down, he went down in the third gear to 180 about and then he stayed up the mountain, then it went quite “normal” again. Normal is with my car: Accelerate up to 100km/h approx. 13,5sec. If you want to speed up e.g. from 80km/h and you give three-quarters of gas then he only jerks lightly, with acceleration but not much, only if you know then again about the kick-down point he accelerates again. In addition, the fuel consumption is also with about 13l, it’s a bit more sadly. So with the acceleration is not a bit faster for me.

  • Cooling water hose V8, 3.6liter

    Moin moin all together. I want to get a V8 on weekends. Unfortunately I have no possibility to pick it up with a trailer and therefore have to drive it. With the Audi a cooling water hose is broken and that is the one that goes to the water pump. Can one give me the article number and maybe a picture of it? Which hose is still sitting there near because the current owner did not yet know if it is. Would be great if I got an answer quickly because I still have to get it until the weekend. Greeting Nils

  • Smart as a second car

    Good day, I’m currently looking for a second car. And that’s why I need a VW Bora 1.9 TDI Variant on the yard with enough power, trailer coupling, enough space in the trunk, etc. Now I need a second car for this car, which is “good and cheap”. So my first choice is a lot directly on a Smart ForTwo (petrol, diesel is again long distance, I think), which would meet at least theoretically all requirements. However, I would like to have a brief advice before, if this choice would be efficient or if I should look for a completely different car. Of course I have already listened to and looked around myself and read some things about the Smart. It came out that I should buy a Smart from 2003 onwards with little running power (under 100,000 km). Also I have some cars that would fit on this description already on the Internet, with a price of up to 2,500€, which would also correspond to my budget. I thought that up to a maximum of 2,500€, but there should be something to find, but it would be easy to lose some of them.

  • Fortwo doesn’t start

    Every year a new problem. My smart is actually a winter car. In spring I made it winter-proof, sprayed all the important parts with corrision spray/oil, sprayed brake discs with so that they don’t bake on the windows again as last year, sprayed wiper sticks, was last year also broken (rust), battery removed and recharged etc. Everything my smart master advised me. Now I have installed the battery, all control lights burn as always, radio works but the engine does not start. Only a sum noise and that was it. Can someone help me to facilitate the troubleshooting. Thank you very much for this.

  • New rear window on the convertible is warped, normal?

    In the morning, my little one got a new rear window. With blue tint 🙂 sensational. But: She is warped 🙂 (you can see this in the picture quite well that she looks as if she was the firmest at the top of the middle, and not quite so tight at the top corners. Thus she throws two large waves diagonally from the outside to the top center. Hope you understand what I mean if not –> picture. You also see on the entire rear deck that all this is not so tight… The saddler thinks it takes a while to get it ok again, what do you think? Looks really sch**** at the moment :-(Oh yes: The rear window is net somehow à la ebay on the edge of the old rear window or other Murks, the new disc has been sewn in by the saddler – as heard.

  • 2,3E NG Whistles after overheating

    Hello people, I’m going to need your help again, or a good advice, and a few answers to my questions. Unfortunately, the cooling circuit was not properly ventilated, the ventilation screw on the second circuit was not opened. (Plastic screw on the hose) At 95 ridges, what has never been achieved before, many the complete board electronics, board computer, combi instrument as well as the additional instruments are off. (Safety is gone) We were then stopped briefly and then still about 2km driven. After that, in the empty run the gas went up and down, the speed changed from idle turnaround approx. 750 to about 1400 rpm. At the gas, the engine did not stop from the KW-stopping afterwards, the open cooling water tank bubbling like crazy and I’m the opinion it all came out of coolant and destyled water, what was filled.

  • again problem with 2,5td

    So it was a good time again. I had to go back to 4 weeks ago a bj. 95 omega b 2,5 td caravan. After some tips of you he drove well again. now I drove at the end of the week into the resin with caravan. mount up mountains down. for a while everything went well, then the temperature went up to the red, right, motor out and look. then found a safety box at the front left in the engine room, and see there 3 fuses a 30a were through. as I then saw after new installation, it was the ones for the three fans. then there was another one broken in there, a 15a. did not know what the change is, also does not come out of the manual. everything was good again. klima ran and he didn’t pull the caravan up and down today. now to the first question: the temperature went up sometimes to 100 degrees and then down again to 90, is that normal????? warm? was driving again, it didn’t seem like that again in the morning, but then it went back again.

  • Omega B vs. Dacia Logan

    Hello together, yes, apples are compared with pears, but I thought about buying a Dacia Logan and selling my Omi (my Opel heart is bleeding and I can’t believe what I’m writing there). But if I think what my Omi “frisst” and so far has cost me of repairs… Repairs + taxes + insurance in the last 3.5 years: 500€ fuel in the same time: 500€ –> That’s a lot, though: 238.00€ / month overall, well, that’s actually going again. But my Omi doesn’t get younger and the timing belt is coming up soon, moreover, the coupling bars are over and I think the screeching is “suspicious” –> Consumption: ALWAYS 11,5l / 100 km, no matter how I drive (!!!). On the other hand: I love my Omi! But with the Dacia I would have a new car. But that’s not as certain as my Omega. But it only needs 6 l diesel / 100 km. I would save 900€ maintenance in the year. I’m going to take my Buckia.

  • Car battery charging possible with a cigarette lighter when smart?

    Hello dear forum participants, I am currently driving a smart 42 Brabus. the car battery was empty twice without apparent reason and the car didn’t jump any more. at the 2nd time I had the car tested in the workshop on light engine, creep current etc. unfortunately ncihts found. after full charge of the battery he stopped about 2 weeks. now I bought a battery tester (by cigarette lighter) and a charger. question: the battery tester showed me this morning 11.5 volts. at what voltage does the car still jump on? question2: can the car battery of the smart charge over the cigarette lighter without having to tear out the entire footprint? answer very sincerely thanks for evt. best greetings Alexs_be
